HP Pavilion Elite Desktop with Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q9300
Worked well out of the box, better when I got rid of the garbage software, games, etc., that comes with all HP computers. My purpose was to run graphics programs, Photoshop, Lightroom quickly and well. It does that superbly; the fastest PC I have used. A bonus is that the computer case is very quiet, with no audible fan noise during normal operation. The various slots for insertion of HP's proprietary removable drives are of no value to me. Most of us would want a transportable drive to be useable on any other PC, not just another HP PC. My biggest gripe is the lack of a disk to reinstall the operating system or portions of it separately if needed. The built in push-one-button backup system using Microsoft's backup program is also pretty useless because one cannot restore a particular file from the backup. It's all or none.

HP Pavilion Slimline Desktop w/Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor E5200
I've owned this little powerhouse for a couple of weeks now and have to say, coming from an almost 8 year old desktop and a core 2 duo laptop, I'm definitely impressed. I was a little leary of Vista due to some negative reviews/feedback from friends, but as of late I've been unable to slow this thing down! The other day, I had the entire Office 2007 suite open, editing documents, Winamp playing MP3's, e-mule running, several Firefox browser windows, burned a CD using Nero 9 and then decided to run CCleaner for kicks. No 'coaster' CD, not a skip via Winamp, no hint of lag whatsoever! Unless you're planning on some hardcore gaming, this thing will manage just about any multimedia task to your heart's content - the only thing missing would be an HDMI output. I have this hooked up to HP's 22" widescreen LCD monitor, which complements the very small and chic case the PC is housed in perfectly. Vista's only feature that annoys me (aside from oversimplification for someone who knows computers

HP FS126UA Pavilion dv7-1130us 17" Entertainment Notebook PC
I purchased this laptop as a desktop replacement for my son who is in college. The integrated 10-key and 17" screen make this more than just a notebook. The ram and processor work beautifully, internet link up is fast and automatic. I had considered wiping Vista and replacing with XP but the performance is so good, and the Vista add-ons made me change my mind. The "speech-to-text" program works fairly well, but of course it has to be trained to your voice. The webcam, mic and speakers are awesome for young people - who needs a phone?! It has an integrated TV tuner and you can connect newer TV's directly to the unit and watch programs in full HD. Even includes a remote. I don't do gaming so cannot speak to it's capabilities there but I told my son if he doesn't like it - I'll be happy to take it! Great value for the money and should hold him for a long time.

Canon EOS 15.1-Megapixel Digital SLR Camera - Black
I did a lot of research before switching from Pentax to Canon. I have several friends who shoot with the 30D and love them,, but this has much more to offer. The 40D did not get great reviews from my professional friends, which meant a lot to me. I stayed away from the 40D after reading too many forums with negitive comments on DigitalWeddingchat, dppreivew, and Canonforums. I am a semi-professional and use this camera for portrait and landscape work. What I noticed first off was the quality of the photos right out of the camera. They are beautiful. With my Pentax K10D I really struggled with low light situations,, the Canon 50D camera doesn't. It is easy to learn how to use, and quite lightweight. Until I put the pro L series lens on it! The huge LCD is amazing. So crisp and clear. I find the controls well placed and easy to use.
I do believe I paid way too much at full price, but I couldn't wait. :) I can't recommend Willoughbys enough. The camera had a dust spot in the viewfinder and

Apple MacBook Pro with 15.4" Display
The new MacBooks were out and boy was I ever excited. I watched Steve Jobs' performance, saw the machines were really and truly to die for, just like he was saying they were. These were the next best thing since sliced bread. I had to have one and I had to have it now. I went right online to the Apple store and ordered mine right up. Then I did my last backup of my fifteen inch MacBook, a machine I really loved, but I was going to love the new one so much more, so backup complete, I put my baby on eBay and seven days later I packed it up and shipped it out.

And for a whole two days I was sans MacBook, but then I got the knock. The FedEx guy was at the door with my new MacBook. I was one happy girl. Okay, I was a little disappointed to see I couldn't hook my new baby up to my twenty-three inch Apple Cinema Display, because Apple changed the connection on the new MacBooks and they didn't supply an adapter and only one company makes those adapters. Guess who? You guessed it. Apple! Was this

Apple MacBook Pro with 15.4" Display
I just purchased the pro yesterday at my local Apple Store. I have had it for less then 24hrs so far, and I love it. I was going to get the high end Macbook, and then at the last minute decided on the low end Pro upgraded with 4GB of Memory. I am so glad I did. It is so fast, and powerful. The display is what made me make the final choice. It is still very portable. It weighs the same as my black macbook, and is thin. It would be very easy to just to throw in my backpack and be on my way. Also the firewire. It was going to be the easiest way to transfer all my data from my old black macbook to the pro. It only took and hour and a half, and I have all my information. I didn't have to do anything, just started it up and began to play. I didn't have Leopard on my old one, and I love it so far. It is easy and the graphics and set up are great. I love the stacks options, and the lighted keyboard. I also love how the controls for the dashboard, screen brightness, keyboard brightness,

Canon EOS 15.1-Megapixel Digital SLR Camera - Black
I used the 40D for a year, purchased the 50D based on positive user reviews here and at other online merchants, but as soon as I started taking photos with the 50D I noticed it had more noise and was softer than the 40D. Within a few days, people and review sites started posting comparisons and they all showed the same. Many people are raving about the 50D's greatness, but the photos tell a different story.

The 50D does have a much better LCD, does handle colors slightly better, but has more noise in photos than the 40D at ISO400 and up, as well as softer images. Taking softness and noise into consideration, you're not getting the clarity you should with 15mp, when compared to the 40D's 10mp. Even when downsizing photos to a smaller, web-sized image, more noise artifacts were visible in the 50D. Since I mostly shoot concert photography, I did not feel this was a worthwhile upgrade, so I returned the 50D and purchased another 40D.

If you shoot outside or in bright light you'll have better

Canon EOS 15.1-Megapixel Digital SLR Camera - Black
I love canon cameras, but they missed the mark on this one.
My 20D could produce sharper files than this camera. I have printed sharp 16x20's from my 20D. I could not get the same quality from this camera. It has all the features I want, except at ISO 100 these files are soft. No matter which lens I use. Very disappointed and sending this camera back.
Thanks to Amazon for a great return policy. I will probably purchase a 40D until I can save up for a 5DMKII. DP review also confirms that even though its a bigger file it's not a sharp image.
Thanks Amazon!

HP FS151UA Pavilion dv7-1170us 17" Entertainment Notebook PC
This is a great laptop. Runs most games just fine at medium to high settings. Pick this laptop up at bestbuy for $899. That is a steal for what you get.

HP PAVILION DV9910US NOTEBOOK PC
This is an exceptional laptop though it does run hot on your lap so I got a laptop cooler just so it lifts it off my lap with circulation underneath and it keeps it cool enough so it doesn't shut down without using the usb fan which is great because I don't want to be listening to a usb fan when I'm working.

The first laptop I purchased at costco would crash when it got too hot because I had it directly on my lap without much circulation.

The laptop I have now with the cooler doesn't ever crash.

Another benefit that hasn't been mentioned is that there is room for 2 hard drives in the chassis. I put in another 250 gb laptop which is great since I am an avid photographer.

Vista handles smoothly with 3gb of ram yet it runs faster with 4 which I put in.

It handles photo editing programs with ease and it turns out that I was a Vista resistor but now I love it!

In total I spent $649.00 on the laptop after rebate and the only thing I am not completely satisfied with is the sound when playing

HP Pavilion dv9925nr 4 GB 17-inch Laptop (Refurbished)-HP Pavilion dv9925nr Notebook 4GB Ram Webcam 17
I have had nothing but problems with my Pavilion laptop, and with HP in general. My parents and I bought two of these computers at the same time, and remarkably have had the same, countless problems with each of them. I will certainly never be purchasing another product from HP.

HP Nylon Value Carrying Case For 15.4-inch Laptops-HP Nylon Value Carrying Case FOR 15.4 NOTEBOOKS
I was very pleased with this laptop bag. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality and workmanship was much better than I anticipated. It is a nice looking bag, very compact - yet has lots of zipper pockets and compartments to store your essentials. You can't go wrong with this choice!

Canon EOS 15.1-Megapixel Digital SLR Camera - Black
Moving from a 400D (XTi) to the 50D was a huge leap for me. The vast improvement in ISO performance, functions, menu, fps, etc. was invaluable. As my skills have progressed, I am looking forward to the opportunities afforded to me by the very powerful 50D. I will have to enhance my skills even more to fully use this camera. So for those moving from the Rebel line to an xxD series, this is a great move. Or if this is your first DSLR you will not be disappointed. However, if you already own an xxD (such as the very popular 40D), then this is probably not the best choice for you. As some comprehensive reviews have shown, the 50D is not a major advancement from the 40D and really only offers some new features such as improved LCD, micro-AF adjustment, and a larger sensor. However, it does not beat and sometimes looses to the 40D in terms of noise and per-pixel sharpness, although both are still hotly debated.
The point being, if you are moving from the rebel series or this is your

Canon EOS 50D 15.1MP Digital SLR Camera with EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Standard Zoom Lens

I purchased this product as a replacement/addition for/to my 2005 Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT, which I was using in dusty and wet environments. The body is partially weather and dust sealed, which is useful in the above conditions. It is an improvement in ease of use, and ergonomics. The price point is higher, but the body definitely has less of a plastic like feel. Live view is useful for framing photos, and the additional high speed burst mode avails itself for action shots at 6fps.

The included Digital Photo Professional (Version 3.5)is useful for raw file manipulation. One downside is the requirement for a large and fast compact flash card (can be pricey), if one is to take advantage of jpeg and raw images concomitantly with little compression.

This camera is nice if one requires better results at ISOs 1,600 and 3,200. "Cnet reviews" concurs stating this is because the higher resolution

Canon EOS 15.1-Megapixel Digital SLR Camera - Black
I have to say they have improved over the 30D I had. The sensor was what I wanted to get. After comparing photos to my D300 Nikon I would have to say at this point that the Nikon has an edge in Photo Quality. Of course this is just my opinion. That could take in several points, different lens, not as familiar with this camera as I am with my D300 yet. I have always thought that their is not that much difference in the two brands.
This camera is a very good camera and has all the bells and whistles that I am qualified to use. Both the Canon and Nikon take very good photos. So I would say it is a personal preference to which one you like or have the accessories for.

DELL STUDIO 15 NOTEBOOK- Graphite Grey with Black Trim Glossy, widescreen 15.4 inch display , Intel® CoreTM 2 Duo T5750 2.00GHz, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 , 2 GB DDR2, 160 GB SATA HD, CD
Twenty hours over two weeks with Dell support and others and the computer (Studio 15 1536) is on its way back to Dell. New HP printer would not print via USB, HP and Dell could not solve the issue. Bought a Dell printer upon recommendation from Dell. This printer would not print from USB, even after hours of remote support from Dell. In the eleventh hour, Dell wanted one more try after Dell assisted in removing all biz software and files prior to return (F8 option to restore to factory image not available). I appreciate it - but I am not getting paid to debug Dell's computers. Indeed, I paid for a computer that worked, i.e., could print. If a Dell computer cannot print as shipped, then don't ship it. If the problem is a known problem, then let the consumer know immediately - not after numerous phone calls, disconnects, purchases of new Dell equipment, software upgrades, etc. Dell should not use its customer base as test pilots. While I have bought numerous Dell computers (at least

Apple MacBook Pro with 15.4" Display
The new MacBook Pro is a significant new laptop, aka MBP, Apple's new unibody manufacturing makes the MBP solid. Just holding the MBP you can feel the quality. And this is just my external impression.

Looking inside the MBP you'll be pleased, from the wonderful, full sized back lit keyboard, the super drive, the array of ports, the connecting options, and the new screen. I love the new glossy screen, the colors are so vibrant, the best display screen I have seen on a laptop.

Perhaps the best thing about the new MBP. Is the software. Staring with Mac OSX, the operating system, clearly the best operating system available. And not just my opinion check out what the industry pundits have to say about OSX. Also included is Apple's well received creative programs, iTunes, iPhoto, and others.

I feel in love with Apple products, after many years of struggling with Windows, just try out the new MBP. I have a feeling you'll love the experience.

HP 51645 Remanufactured Black Ink Cartridge (Set of 4)-HP 51645 Remanufactured Black Ink Cartridge 4-pack
I have purchased this same 4-pack of HP 51645 refilled ink cartridges several times in the past. I have had no problems in the past and anticipate none in the future. What is particularly intriguing is the price per unit is cheaper buying the 4-pack than those where more units are offered. And to be honest I also refill the cartridges 2-3 times before having them recycled.

Apple MacBook Pro with 15.4" Display
The new MacBook Pro has some significant advantages over the old one. The new case design is attractive and solid. The keyboard is crisp and responsive. The hard drive is as easy to access as on every other notebook on the market (as opposed to requiring complete disassembly of the machine with the old model). The new NVIDIA 9600 graphics adds a lot of 3D horsepower.

There are some significant drawbacks as well. The video output for connecting an external monitor is only compatible with one monitor at the moment. Connecting to the kinds of monitor that people actually own will require the purchase (and carrying) of an additional $30 adapter. Or two, if you need to connect to both VGA and DVI monitors.

The new MacBook Pro actually has two video adapters; the NVIDIA 9400 and 9600. The system uses the 9400 by default, which is less powerful than the 9600 but uses less power. The 9400 is an integrated adapter without its own memory; it uses 256MB of the system RAM. The problem is

Canon EOS 15.1-Megapixel Digital SLR Camera - Black
Great camera, but keep getting Error99s. Called Canon service but got no help. Maybe they just had not figured it out yet. I recently found a link on the Canon Forum that Canon has released a 1.3 firmware update. Here's the link.

Other than that, the camera is great!
