Mini Neoprene Case for Garmin Nuvi GPS Navigator-Orange
I have been looking for decent case for my nuvi 750 for a while.I have a hard shell case that is much larger and will be used when the GPS and the assosories are stored in the car but I also wanted a soft case that would fit into a jacket pocket to take just the GPS with me when I leave the car. Before I bought this one I saw another neoprene case made by incase at a big box store with the letters BB I brought my GPS into the store and the incase case fit the GPS well, I felt the case was a little expensive for a simple neoprene case (almost 20 bucks!) so I saw this one at overstock and it said it was for a 4.3

Garmin StreetPilot c550 Automotive GPS System
I took the GPS out of the box, read the directions, mounted it in the car using the suction cup provided and had it working in a total of less than ten minutes time. Took it on a trip to Texas the following day and never got lost. Learned real quick how to find restaurants and gas stations. Love it.

Garmin nuvi 265WT 4.3" Touchscreen GPS
[...]

The nüvi 265WT, like other Garmin nüvi GPS devices, excels in the ease of use department. The map is easy to read, menus are intuitive, and an updated interface makes it easier to view traffic alerts. Features are nicely integrated so as not to needlessly clutter the screen. For example, telephone controls only appear when the nüvi is actively paired with a Bluetooth phone.

Cons:
Screen not as bright as more expensive nüvi models
No way to avoid a specific road from a planned route
Can't change information displayed in the data field on the map (more expensive nüvi 7x5 models let you choose between arrival time, distance,
Lackluster Bluetooth hands-free speakerphone call quality
Searching POI database by spelling a business name is slow
Cannot sort Favorites alphabetically; saved addresses always listed in order of closeness to your current location
Can't customize the colors or layout of the map
Touchreen less sensitive than older models. Requires a firmer touch.

Garmin Nuvi 760 GPS Navigation System
I recently purchased the 760 and I really like it. The larger screen is really nice. The blue tooth connectivity works really well, it hooked up with my Blackberry Pearl very easily with no problem at all. Unfortunately, the FM transmitter is just a little weak, consequently there is a little too much background white noise and interference. For the most part the maps are pretty good, but of all the things it has my own home address wrong, it's about 4 houses off. I downloaded the latest maps and it still didn't fix the problem. For the most part it gets me where I'm going very nicely. There are a lot of Points of Interest, but it takes just a little digging to get to them unlike my older and much cheaper MIO which floats POIs such as gas stations and hotel icons right across the screen to let you know that they are up ahead. I wish the 760 had this feature, or at least make the POIs more readily accessible. The mounting bracket has a swivel knuckle that works very good which makes the

nuvi 660 GPS Personal Travel Assistant - North America
I purchased this GPS on 8/14/2008. This is aproximately 9 months after I355 opened in the Chicago. This is a major 8 lane 15 mile stretch of highway that is not in the GPS. My inlaws bought a Nuvi 200 before we did and their maps included this road.

I bought this unit 3 days before Garmin's new map garauntee program started. I had to pay $70 to update the map JUST TO GET THIS ONE ROAD!

I feel very ripped off. Amazon was evidently selling off old stock. And Garmin does not appear to care about its customers to make sure merchants are keeping their maps updated.

Not having this route is a major pain in the but, since everytime we go south out of town, it tries to take us on surface streets. Crazy. When I am driving on the I355, it annoyingly tries to tell us to turn on every road we go over.

Otherwise this GPS functions ok. I like the feature that speaks the names of the road you are about to turn on, instead of just telling you to take a right. This is very good when

Garmin StreetPilot C580 GPS Car Navigation
This is everyth9ng I expected it to be! Even though it is a discontinued model, Garmin updated the map database and the O/S. It was a great deal, and that, combined with a great company made it a great Amazon.com purchase.

Garmin StreetPilot C580 GPS Car Navigation
I ordered this before driving halfway across the country. This is a fantastic deal, I had my reservations buying it because it is a slightly older model & I prefer the look & size of the NUVI product line. Putting that aside, this model has all of the features I wanted (and a couple more) for an absolute bargain price. I love the gas price feature of MSN Direct, I was able to avoid the just-off-of-the-freeway high priced gas stations and find the best deals on fuel.

The POI is very good, and the text to speech works better than many other GPS units I have used. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase & would recommend it to anyone looking for real value.

The c580 did send me on a couple of wild-goose chases, I am not sure if the unit was at fault or the map program. One example was that it kept telling us to exit and enter the same freeway for several miles. Another example is that it took us on some tangents through residential streets when there was a straight road that it should

Garmin nuvi 265WT 4.3" Touchscreen GPS
The (free) traffic update feature has already saved me time on several trips. Interface is intuative, love the ability to associate my own pictures with "Favourite" locations. My son especially loves the "Black Pearl" as the 'car' icon.

Highly recommended.

Garmin nuvi 255w GPS Navigation System
The Nuvi 255 W is easy to use right out of the box. I like being able to type in a destination, and hit go. The best part of the navigation system, is that it recalculates your location if you miss a turn. The area I was recently traveling in was under a massive construction job, and the exits I was told to take were closed. After passing the exits, the garmin routed me in from a different direction using the side streets to ultimately lead me to my destination. I would highly recommend this system to anyone who travels in an unfamiliar area.

Garmin nuvi 265WT 4.3" Touchscreen GPS
I'm really happy with this as my first GPS unit. I haven't fully explored all the bells and whistles but it was very easy to get this going and start using it out of the box. The turn-by-turn voice directions are great, the screen is easy to read and the voice is very easy to understand. So far it has been very accurate everywhere I've gone with it.

I have enough MP3 players so I don't really care about that functionality and didn't want to pay for it. I haven't tried the Bluetooth speakerphone yet but don't really expect to hear high-quality voice from a GPS and I have a Supertooth already. It's nice to have either way but I doubt I'll use it much.

I would have given this 5 stars but I have to agree with others that the documentation is almost non-existent. Also I found the process of loading favorites a bit confusing at first. But these are minor issues and don't detract from the performance or value. Overall this is a great unit if you want voice directions, wide screen, and integrated

Garmin Nuvi 760 GPS Navigation System
No problems so far with this unit. i really like the feature that states the name of the street that you need to turn on. other units just state turn left in 200 yards. That can be progmatic if there are two streets close together.

Nüvi 750 Handy GPS Navigator
We're pleased with the Garmin 750 GPS. It's able to get you almost anywhere you want to go - except our house and a friend's house in a small rural community, but that's true of all GPS units. The sticky base no longer adheres to the dash, after just 2 days of high temperatures, but one of the friction bases should solve that problem. The portabilty is a money saver with 2 cars, alternately used for longer trips, and the larger screen is a plus for my husband who has large fingers and can't type on the smaller screens. I'd recommend this product, just don't throw away all your maps.

Garmin Vehicle Power Cable for Select Garmin GPS Receivers
When I purchased a Nuvi 760 this item was shown as frequently purchased with it. Unfortunately it is not compatable and cost me to return as it was my error. Power connections were not visable so how is a person to know if the adapter will work with the GPS? Guess you learn the hard way.

Garmin eTrex Venture HC Portable GPS Receiver with 2.2" Color Display - Yellow
Got this unit to start geocaching with my kids.

PROS are: It seems to be very accurate, screen is easily readable, color is good, seems well made and durable. The unit is also able to obtain a satellite when indoors near a window which was very surprising.
CONS are: no built in compass which makes it very difficult to get to the geocache when you get very close. If you stand still it will confuse you and point to a different direction. The unit only points toward the destination when you are moving. So when you get close to the cache you need to constantly walk back and forth to figure out where it is. If you stop walking the display will point toward screen-north and not the destination.

Also, the Garmin operating system was a little less than intuitive causing me to read the manual more than I would usually need to for other small electronics. After much searching the manual still does not tell you how to manually enter a waypoint if you have the coordinates. It makes mention

Garmin Garmin Factory-Refurbished n?vi 270 Portable GPS
Love it for the U.S. It has remote country roads in the middle of South Dakota. When I traveled to Ireland, it was useless. A majority of the roads are misplotted or missing.

Garmin Forerunner 405 GPS Green Sports Watch-GARMIN FORERUNNER 405 SPORT WATCH W/ HRM & USB ANT
When I was trying to decide between the 305 and the 405, I read every single review from a couple of different websites...it seemed that there was a lot of negative reviews on the 405, but also some hidden gems that make regular use of the watch a pleasure. I was shocked by how much Mac users seemed to hate the thing...since I own a Mac I knew I was going to have to work a bit harder to get the data to my Mac. For me, the deciding factor for the 405 ended up being the usability of the watch as an actual watch....it does look pretty sharp...and for $350 it better get more use than for an hour a day on a run...

Here is what I've seen with my own use over the last couple of weeks:
The set up on my Vista PC was actually pretty simple...I followed the directions to the letter and went to the[...] site which helped me get everything set up pretty quickly. There are some pretty good directions there...I can't see how anyone could screw this up honestly...but it seems that some folks have had

Nüvi 750 Handy GPS Navigator
I remember how often I managed to get lost while driving "BG." (Before Garmin). Now I just enter the address I want to reach - even if I've never been there - and depend on "Betty" (our name for our direction-giver on the Garmin) to get us there safely and on time. It's even reduced greatly my perusals of MapQuest. We are in our 70's and 80's and really appreciate the advance notices of turns, etc., especially whether a freeway exit is to the "right" or "left" here in Florida, as that can be tricky when you find yourself in the "wrong" lane for an approching exit. I can't praise this enough.

Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx Portable Navigator-60CSx Handheld GPS Navigator
If you have lots of time to learn a fairly complex GPS unit then this one should be considered. It takes some time to navigate through the marginally user friendly features. It is not suitable as a daily driver aid because of the lengthy inputs. If you are into going places that are remote and you want to insure you can get back out then this will do the job. I have been lost , at night, on dirt roads, with no signage but the breadcrumb trailmarking feature got me out of some scary places even as the area was obscured by smoke from a to close for comfort forest fire that was nearby.

Nüvi 750 Handy GPS Navigator
I've only had it a couple of days but I am extremely pleased. As soon as I connected it to my computer to register the unit it updated the software. I've read all of the reviews, most of them were old and was a little hesitant. I'm glad I bought it! The language pronunciation was dead on, not like other brands I've used and heard. It acquires the satellites usually before the maps are finished loading. I had to go out of town today and it worked perfectly. On the way home I decided to alter the directions it had decided was the best route. As soon as I passed the turn it immediately said "recalculating" and took no more than 2 or 3 seconds to find the new route. I tried to trick it on 4 different occasions with the same results. My "other" brand did not work nearly as fast. Way to go Garmin! I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who doesn't want "all" of the bells and whistles (at a significantly higher cost) though this unit has most of them. I did not want bluetooth

Garmin nuvi 265WT 4.3" Touchscreen GPS
The 265WT is (literally) THE way to go! It's an easy-to-use GPS. It has voice turn-by-turn instructions (including street names), free FM traffic for life!, and hands-free Bluetooth capability. The graphics are great too. The antenna is built in and very sensitive.

The FM traffic is a great feature, and unlike other models, it's free for life with the 265WT. While commuting, I can easily see where traffic is congested or stopped, and my Nuvi 265WT routes me around it. Isn't technology great!

For the price (purchased on Amazon
