This item is great it came in like 2 days and works fantastic. You have to put it in the right spot in your car to clear up the static but once you find that special spot the music sounds great. You can pick any station you want it to play on so you can keep the signal clear. Overstock is pretty great when I buy from them.

After getting my iPhone 3G, I knew I had to get a "night time dock" so I could keep my iphone in a safe place during the night.
I've been known to wake up and step on my old motorola razr, and I definitely didn't want that happening with my iphone 3G :)
After reading through reviews on ilounge and macrumors, I finally decided on this unit. It was actually the review by R Allison that made me take the plunge.
PROS:
I was worried about the unit being compatible with my iphone 3g, and then I was worried about the buzzing sound that other people had experienced.
I decided to go ahead and try it, knowing that Amazon has a great return policy.
I can safely say the unit works as described. I just docked my iphone 3G (white) and it was ready to roll. I've used it for a little over a week now and I haven't heard any buzzing, there were no device errors, it just "works".
I like that my iPhone 3G can charge at night and that I can wake up to any track that I want.
CONS:
I only gave it

This product works great. My friend had one, and I found it on overstock for less than half the price he payed for it. It works great. I use it everyday. I would recommend it for anyone who has an ipod.

This speaker alarm clock is awesome and is appealing to the eye as well! The sound is great, I use it in my room and the sound is pretty loud, more than sufficient. Also, it is compatible with the iPhone, and you dont have to put the iphone on airplane mode, so you can receive phone calls while your music is playing. It also has a radio, which is nice, and the remote makes scrolling through your music library easy from across the room.

Although very cute in size...it does not make up for it's lack of performance. The tuner will only set itself to 106.9 and when we change it to another station, it automatically goes back to 106.9. That works great as long as you are not in an area that has a radio station using that signal. I was also expecting a cord that would plug into the tuner and cigarette lighter outlet in my car to charge my ipod. As it is now...I can only listen to my Ipod through my radio when I'm driving on back country roads and hope I don't run out of charge since I have no way to "plug" it in to charge it while it plays. Ultimately it does pick up a decent signal when it is operative but there is quite a bit of crackling in the background. If you buy this product...you can' t say you weren't warned!

Great product. Play your IPOD through any home or car stereo. Just find an open radio channel and Viola! This might be harder in a large city where there is very little space on the dial, and you will have to change the station on long road trips, but overall very convenient and easily portable.

I bought this for my husband to use on his long drive to work. We have been through a few other ones that did not work quite as well but this one works well and is a great value for the price. It's very easy to use also.

This product works pretty well. Because it transmits through the radio, it doesn't always get the clearest audio. If the radio station has good reception, then you can expect good sound, but if you go through the mountains, it is hard to find a clear station to play your IPod. It is small and compact, light for travel.

Either my iPod nano is very low power or this transmitter is because once I get a station tuned in I have to crank up the stereo volume to barely hear anything. I would NOT recommend this to someone with a Nano. Perhaps it works better with other iPods.

I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and it has performed flawlessly. Not mentioned in some reviews or product description is that it does have a mini USB input on the unit which can be used to charge your ipod. After I added some additional power through the USB connection I have yet to reicieve any signal interfearence, I don't think the ipod gives it enough juice and the battery drain from the unit was substantial. It did have a slightly used appearence when I received it but for the price I'm not complaining. The sound quality is the biggest draw back, it has a narrow frequency response 50hz to 15khz which isn't horrible just a little low in the higher frequencies.

I just received my i.Sound box yesterday and LOVE it! It is a little heavy with 12(!) C batteries in it but still nice to have it conveinent to carry. It does sync the iPod when you plug in the USB to USB cord. I also use it as a speaker system for my computer when I want to play the iTunes radio (it comes with the cord too). The AM/FM radio is nice too, however the reception, even with the antenna doesn't see to pick up except the very strong local stations. I'm looking forward to using it during my tennis clinics. Will let you know how it does outside and projects sound at a distance....

This product has worked perfectly for me - the audio quality is great as long as you have a good station turned on! I am so glad that I chose to purchase it!

This FM Transmitter is exactly what I expected, a cheap temperamental piece of junk. Better than nothing I suppose. I had another fm transmitter that you had to plug in to the lighter outlet that worked great, but it was too bulky. This ITRIP does work, but every station I try is always full of static. I guess if I wrapped myself in tin foil and put my left arm and right leg up at the right time, it would work great, but then I wouldn't be able to drive. All in all, not worth the cheap price. Should have spent the money on a better quality product.

Great product, but just like any other transmitter on the market there is background noise. The compact size and easy interface make this the better of the transmitters I have. Plus you can charge your ipod through the mini USB. Overall I would by the product again.

Works well enough, tends to be a bit temperamental, but you just need to find the right frequency. The fact that it needs no batteries is very convenient. Sometimes tends to disconnect, which is aggravating, but this is also due to a certain case my ipod is equipped with.

When it seems to good to be true.... this fm transmitter "worked" for a total of two times then stopped even trying to work. I would not buy this product again or recommend it to an enemy. If you have a tape player in your car, buy a cassette adapter because a direct connection works the best with no frustrations.

I can honestly say that there have been very few items I've purchased from Overstock that I've either returned or been disappointed in. I bought 2 of these, one for my husband and one for me. We'll probably never use them. The connection to the iPod Nano is not secure allowing the speaker to fall out if its not positioned correctly. Plus, the sound is so weak, you can't hear it in a car. Don't waste your money.

I recently bought an ipod and i was looking for something different. I thought that the Isound Plasma was it. I was totally wrong its main feature being the plasma globe pulsing to your ipod music doesn't really work, unless you crank the volume up and i mean way up. It is a shame want could have been a cool product, just really drop the ball.

If you need speakers on the go, traveling, backpacking, any time you need to share your music in close quarters, this mini is OK, but not the best available--the sound is good, but could be fuller and richer, the volume ought to get louder than it does, considering it's powered by a battery. All in all, a good runner-up, but not #1.

For the price i paid for this and shipping its one of great quality. Its very easy to use, because your only using one button. The batteries are standard so your not looking for 5 dollar batteries to fit it. It doesn't bring attention to the ipod, is pretty loud when you want it to be, and overall a great buy.
