My husband grabbed this for me as an early Christmas gift. I'm addicted to Brain Age (which is the FULL game!) While visiting my Mom she fell in love too & said she's going to get one. The case it comes with is just to CHA-CHA for words; holds 3 games & an extra stylus. I'm typically a "pink" kinda gal but I have to say this color is just too amazingly beautiful. The images don't do it any justice.
Love it, Love it, LOVE IT!!!

It is hard to believe that the Nintendo DS is going on into its 5th year of making gameplay addictive. While Nintendo had delivered well with getting young gamers know how to touch their way to the stars of Super Mario 64 DS, and roll with the dice on Clubhouse Games, many gamers have really been thrown into originally getting into the DS with the wild and addictive Brain Age. This game not only changed the way we play video games on the Nintendo DS, but it really introduced video games as a assertive teaching tool for older gamers who want to make their brains feel stronger and more focused on speed and sound. Now, for the first time the original brain drain is bundled with the Nintendo DS Lite.
The new Nintendo DS Lite Brain Age bundle pack is the latest in the Nintendo DS bundle packs, and it is well worth the money. The DS Lite is set in a sleek and crisp ice blue color, which resembles the addictive gameplay of Brain Age, and how your brain will actually freeze whener you get stuck

I bought this game a week ago, and for me is a nice game to play, you can adopt the cats, and give names, put different clothes, go to the park and play with other cats, you can also download toys, and other things...It is a fun game. But you have to remember, because this is a game about cats, sometimes is hard to make them do stuff, so you gotta try couple times to make that happen, you can also level up and be able to have up to 10 cats. Like I said before, if you are a cat lover, you must have this game.

Okay, first off, if you don't already know, this game was originally coming out October 21, but was moved to Nov. 18. Also, since I've never played Rune Factory 1, I can't compare this to it. Sorry.
Now, Rune Factory 2... A great mix of farming and dungeon crawling. Sounds weird? It is. But... it's a good weird. But was it worth the wait?
Your character, Kyle (Well, that's the default name,) wanders into the town of Alvarna with no memory. A girl named Mana finds him and gives him a farm to work on. You work on the farm, then grab a sword, spear or staff, and go kill things.
Graphics: Great. The 3-D characters really work well with the 2-D backgrounds. Some people might not like how the characters look, but personally, I love it. The swordfighting looks great, and so do the spells. 9!
Sound: Just beautiful. Great tracks, voice acting (which I LOVE!) and the music really suits the mood of the dungeons. Anyone besides me compare the sound in the spring dungeon to another track? *cough*Hyrule

Since Nintendo orignally came out with the Nintendo DS back in 2004, it fully brought in a whole new way we play video games on the go. Since then, gamers everywhere have been rejoyced with with video games that have been now recognized as classics like Super Mario 64 DS, the addictive puzzle game Meteos, and the addictive mental challenge of Brain Age. But, there have been also a lot of great bundle packs that also have been made like back in 2005, when the original DS was made with the fast and furiousness of Mario Kart DS. But that also could in 2006 when Nintendo remade the DS, into the popular DS Lite, which also delivers top notch gameplay, and the ability to play against other gamers online. Now, just in time for the holidays, a pair of special Nintendo DS Lite bundle packs have been made to make your favorite gamer happy on the go.

Like most people, I thought the commercial looked like people were having fun and enjoying themselves. Well, remember, you are watching paid actors!
Unfortunately, this game is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. The fact that you can imitate over 60 instruments is no big deal at all. You can accomplish the exact same results copying the actions of any musician you may watch in a video or on TV. There is no "real" significant connection of your movements to the Wii Music game. It is beyond simple, so much that anyone over the age of 5yrs would be bored to tears in less than 5 minutes. The majority of the game, if you can even call it that, you are acting like you're playing the instrument you pick at whatever tempo you like. There are no points, no significant objectives or anything.
The actual games are much more simple than what you would find playing the mini games of Wii Play. Making your own music videos with the cartoon characters... BIG DEAL! Conducting the orchestra.. WHOOPEE..

I thought that it was a lot of fun. A lot of times it gets difficult. You have to check someone's work and if you're not right there will an x next to it. I recommend it to other kids my age. It could help you with school. I play with it everyday.

I had fully planned on ordering from another retailer online this morning (Black Friday), but when I hopped online at 4am their website was DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE! How convenient! But it all works out because Amazon price is CHEAPER (by over $5) AND it ships free AND no sales tax. I ordered one Mario Bundle and One Brain Age Bundle. Thank you Amazon, Santa is VERY happy!

Being a gamer for 20 years, I've seen my share fair of systems come and go. Although I was skeptical of the DS at first, seeing it as a gimmicky handheld with nothing new to offer (aside from that stylus functionality), I grew quite fond of it after my friend's constant nagging to get me to try it.
Games like Brain Age give you something different, but the best part for me is the abundance of awesome 2D games. The Castlevanias, Contra 4, Sonic Rush, Megaman ZX, and more are part of the grand renaissance of old school games (along with all the offerings on Xbox Live Arcade and the other consoles).
Of course, if you're looking for some quirky games taking advantage of the stylus and whatnot, they got you covered, too. WiFi multiplayer and Game Boy Advance backwards compatability are just icing on the cake.
I put off buying it for awhile, since I'm pretty happy with my PSP, but I couldn't pass up this bundle. One, it comes with New Super Mario Bros., an excellent side scroller that

i played tecmo super bowl back in the day like it was the only video game ever made.
so when i heard that tecmo bowl had come out on the DS i was ecstatic.
Its a fun game. . .but there are some issues that i would like to point out. . .
1) for some odd reason you cannot see ALL your individual season player stats. . . you can only see your overall team stats and your player stats if he is in the top 25 (or so) of the entire league. This is annoying because i used to get a kick out of just running through the season stats of all my players, even backups that ran the ball maybe a handful of times. this seems so simple but yet its missing. .
2) the cursor for passing the ball is very difficult to distinguish . . . on passing plays, all receivers have a tiny white cursor above their heads. . . when you pick a receiver to throw to this white cursor becomes slightly bigger but hardly enough to distinguish. this is annoying when trying to get out of the grasp of a linemen.

This game isn't any fun at all. Comparing it to guitar hero is a joke, in these tough economic times it can be tempting to just up and get the cheaper alternative from time to time, but do yourself a favor and not do that here.
Bottom line: this game blows.

I got this game was on a special deal. Decided I had nothing to loose. It is great and I am sad to say I cannot just snap thru it. I do mostly brain games and have a desire to challenge my brain.
Well this does just that. I'm 53 and I do not get all the answers right. What they learn in 6th grade now is like what I learned in 12th grade. If you get a chance to add it for a few bucks you will not be disappointed.
It is fun in presentation and the questions are complicated. It's not babyish by any means. I am enjoying it. Once I master a game then I sell it back and let someone else enjoy it and I can get another challenge.
Great for 5th grade and up...up to 99. LOL
Have fun.

If you consider yourself a gamer, and have not experienced this title, you owe it too yourself to pick it up. It doesn't have to be on the DS, though I believe that version to be the definitive one.
The SNES version is the original masterpiece and I just bet you could find it here on Amazon.
The PSX (Play Station 1) version has all the extras of the DS version but loses stars for strange load times before and after battles and while opening the menus which can detract from the over all immersion of the experience.
Sound:
This is the only video game I have ever ordered the sound track for! Haunting melodies from the forests of Guardia, epic themes while rocketing through time, and a sweeping final theme you may find yourself humming for hours. The battle music is standard Final Fantasy fare, but hey, is that such a bad thing? The sound effects are witty and even though this is still midi sound you can tell a lot of thought went into putting it together.

A dorm room football phenomenon emerges from the backfield in the form of "Tecmo Bowl Kickoff." A double-reverse throwback that sheds decades of technological advances as a running back would defenders, the game is an effort to recover fumbles made by today's over-serious gridiron grinders.
With circa-1991 graphics, a side-scrolling, broadcast-style point of view, quarterbacks who can launch 120-yard bombs and lead blockers who can send linebackers tumbling backward, "Kickoff" recaptures the off-kilter Japanese charm of the seminal "Tecmo Super Bowl." Developed by an American team, "Kickoff" recaptures the old game's incongruous quirks without making them overly cheesy. Static cinematics, which punctuate big plays, are good for constant chuckles.
"Kickoff" is no threat to EA's "Madden" hegemony, with its 4.5 million in 2008 sales as of late September, and exclusive NFL license. But a few minutes with the game and its silly thrills may have old-school players declaring "Kickoff" has the

Rune Factory 2
I'm writing to review to compare this second Rune Factory to the first one.
Great:
The AI is much better than it was in RF1
The Bachlorettes have a much wider range of personalities, and better thought out events.
The bulletin board system is a great way to raise friendship points and make money.
You can play as a boy or a girl in generation two.
New weapons such as a wand for spellcasting.
No major glitches; I haven't noticed any weird bugs in the AI such as I did in RF1
The scenery is really well done; I love the island.
No easy money like in RF1; you actually have to do a little work at first.
The backpack and equipment system has been made far easier to use.
Good:
The graphics have improved somewhat.
Your attacks look far more realistic.
You can see your shield when fighting!
Less glitchy than R1
Did I mention how the characters are far better done? They are all so neat!
The controls are done very well; I found them much easier than the first game's.
You can steal

THIS GAME ROCKS! i got this game for the car ride to vacation, and it is GREAT! The fish are so realistic and there are over 30 different kinds! The object of the game is to breed all of the fish, and each time to breed a fish, you get a new one! Once you breed all of the fish you get a three special animals for your tanks. I don't know why but it is REALLY addicting. BUT... You have to really like fish to like this game and if you don't, you will think it's very boring. There is also Fantasy Aquarium by DS which is also very cool. ;-) ...................yay I'm the first review!

This game was chosen by my 7 year old but like the other reviewer said, I've had to play a lot of it. Which I don't mind until I get to the 4th bubble for the Jungle and the game freezes up. I've tried this on two DS's and both times the same spot froze up. Good thing is my daughter won't really care since she can't get that far, but it makes it difficult to reason paying $30 for a game that is only half working. Not impressed with that fact, but the game overall is very imaginative and neato!

The Nintendo DS is an amazing piece of technology with far more potential than to just play video games (though it's certainly ideal for that). Personal Trainer: Cooking is the rare software that pushes the DS in a new direction while putting this potential to great use. You won't find high scores, cute characters or bonus levels in this game, because it's really a cookbook - a really good cookbook.
I was blown away by the quality of production for this game. It's much easier to use than I expected. By default you can select a country from a map and browse popular recipes from that area, or you can search the entire contents by main ingredient, calories or cooking time. All the menus are straightforward and both the hand writing recognition (which you can use to make notes) and voice commands work great, despite loud noises (pots and pans clanking) being picked up erroneously. The included videos are similarly high quality and very helpful if you are unfamiliar with any part of

BEST...GAME...EVER!
I played the Japanese version last night, and all the memories of the original SNES version flooded back in, making me remember how much I loved this game. I'm glad they didn't mess around with the graphics by changing everything to 3D, because I feel they would have destroyed a classic, but I am happy that they added two new dungeons, one of which gives you a new ending to the game itself. (Don't worry, there's already 13 original endings, adding another one won't ruin it. They could have taken out the horrible anime cut sequences, but I do like the fact that you can disable them as an option.)
To the younger generation, I really can't say what they will think of it. When I first played this game, I was part of that generation, but nowadays, it seems like 3D games have taken over, and kids will pass this game up because it's not "cool looking" enough to sit down and enjoy. I hope that's not the case though, because Chrono Trigger is really one of the best games that

I used to have Animal Crossing on the Gamecube and loved playing it, so I was very excited to hear about a new AC coming out on the Wii.
My husband could only laugh at me as my friend and I rushed out to the store to get it on its release date--and it did not disappoint. I appreciated the fact that they kept it consistent with the old game, I was able to jump right in without having to figure a lot of stuff out. The things that I loved before were still there, with some fun new features.
I love being able to send mail to my friend's village with packages and presents. Its also great to actually be able to visit each others towns while we are online together. We're saving a lot of cell phone minutes in talking to each other over the Wii speak as well. Plus, I'm able to talk to her son as well (he is 3 and gets a big kick out of hearing my voice through the TV).
There is humor for adults (once of my animals told me, after I had been stung by a bee, that I had "bitter bee face").
