Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Game of the Year Edition: Xbox 360
Pros: Great HD Graphics. HDMI Support. Great Gameplay. Amazing multiplayer. Awesome Xbox Live experience (Very little server lag). Thousands of addons, challenges, unlockables, weapons, extras. Challenging, yet enjoyable campaign.
Cons: Frustrating at times. Extra maps are around £8 ($16 USD). Short campaign.
Bought this game a bit late, but got the "Game of the year edition" which means all of those online map downloads. FREE! Which i'm always happy with, me being a bit cheap XD. However! i went to the website to redeem my code to find (http://gameoftheyear.callofduty.com/) that they had "run out of tokens and were refilling" this was over a week ago now. and am really dissapointed they STILL haven't got it sorted.

Anyways, enough of the bad side. On to the actual gameplay... One word; outstanding! Deserves the game of the year award, even if the maps dont work :@ no idea why i hadn't bought this game before! The online play is just as good as offline, if not better. Great clan mode to play with your crew. Fantastic array of game play modes, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch etc,etc (only ones i've played ^^). Easy to get into!

Would highly suggest anyone who has not yet bought this. DO! If you like GTA4, you will no doubt like this. The physics engine is quite alike with rag-doll systems and

Madden NFL 09: Xbox 360
EA Sports is abusing their monopoly on NFL football right now, and it is very disappointing showing compared to past years of this title. My biggest gripe is that the on line play is buggy, and it is far less entertaining than the last seven years I have purchased it.

Madden NFL 09: Xbox 360
Great graphics but again EA being the Monopoly that they are finds a way to ruin things and their cockiness won't accept the fact they messed up.

My game freezes randomly. In franchise mode I know for sure if i play a second game it will freeze if the first game doesn't already. It has froze online and on the play selection menu sometime the instant replay will be all black and white (think like old tv static with no reception)

They patched the game the first week becuase there were so many bugs.

I called EA on Sunday and the Tech guy EVEN SAID "I have a 360 and it freezes on me too we have been receiving alot of calls about this...THE PATCH SHOULD BE OUT IN LIKE A MONTH"

Isn't this why EA has game testers? to find bugs to find glitches..Like I said before the cockiness is too point where we are the BETA we test the games but we don't get paid we pay to test the game.

I can understand bugs but a game that completely freezes or says unreadable disc (new game no scratches) is ridiculous.

Madden NFL 09: Xbox 360
I have mixed feelings about this game, I thought last years version played better. This years version's presentation was much better though. The play by play is light years ahead of the awful guy last year.

Gameplay wise I was a bit disappointed in the passing and return game. The players on kickoff return are way too slow, there is no way to get a touchdown return with Devin Hester the fastest player in the NFL. He is always and I mean always caught. He's just too slow, I think they were trying to make up for last year, where it was way too easy to get a kickoff return TD. Well they did it they made it impossible.

Likewise the passing game has become impossible to get a deep pass down the field, where in years past it was way too easy to get a bomb everytime. Now the defense can get an interception on any deep pass pattern way too easy, the frequent tipped pass interceptions are totally out of whack. Plus having no velocity on touch passes means it takes forever for the ball to get

MTV Games Rock Band Special Edition (Xbox 360)
Since my Nintendo gamecube broke a couple years ago I've been sadly systemless, missing out on all the cool games coming out and feeling out of place when my friends talk about how awesome they are at Guitar Hero. I never really cared too much to tell the truth, but sometimes when I have nothing to do I just want to sit down and shoot some zombies or steal a car or something (in a video game, not real life mind you).

Then, on the fourth of July I went over to a friend's house and played Rock Band for the first time. Of course I'd played Guitar Hero before this but I always hated the guitar. It's too small and the buttons have too much space between them. But Rock Band was completely different. You don't have to go solo all the time, you can have an actual BAND complete with drums and vocals and, if you have an extra guitar controller, a bass. My friends and I played that game all night long, and when I went home I stopped by Wal-Mart and bought an X-Box 360 just so I could play Rock Band

Soul Calibur IV: Xbox 360
I have always been a fan of the Soul Calibur games, and I didn't really know what to think about this one because all of them have been redundant. Suprisingly though, this Soul Calibur is different. There are so many new characters (like Yoda, it's awesome), you have a lot more options for creating players, and the characters that already exist on the game. The graphics are really good, and online play is awesome. The only problem with the game is the story mode, it is short, it is just 5 battles instead of 8 or 9 like in the other games. The controls are a bit hard to master if you haven't played the other games. I would recomend this game to a Soul Calibur fan.

Xbox 360 Camo Headset
My expectations weren't too high since this is not made by microsoft, but overall I wish I would have spent more money on a better quality headset. This headset isn't made for adults, the microphone only extends halfway across my cheek. The earpiece fits but the speaker doesn't contact the ear and it's hard to hear quiet sounds. The volume control and mute button work alright but the sound is so low you would never have to turn down the volume. I would recommend this for a child prone to breaking things but not a serious gamer like myself. =)

Lost Odyssey: Xbox 360
Way too many cut screens; the first two hours of the game are touture. The camera angles are horrible. You have to keep pressing the a button to get through all the blabbering just to get to the turn based fighting. bordem.

im so glad i rented from blockbuster. I wont give 1 star because that would be unfair. Its a great game if you like this style of RPG.

Grand Theft Auto IV: Xbox 360
I bought this game based on the so called "10" reviews from the major outlets. I now no longer trust reviews from these so called major outlets. San Andreas was awesome, but this one is just... so blah.

Why?

#1. A story that went no where. "Godfather" of video games? That's laughable. There is nothing that propels the story forward.
#2. Characters that have no depth. Stupid villains and extraneous characters. I didn't care for any of the characters in the game.
#3. Gimped game play from previous game. They took out all the elements that were fun in the previous games.
#4. Money serves no purpose in the game! You can't buy anything in the game!
#5. After the first 3 hours, the game became repetitive and boring.

Rockstar, you've lost a fan.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith: Xbox 360
I beat this game in about 3 hours, never failed a song, 5 starred 95% of the songs on my first try. Pathetically easy. Not enough songs. Activision is just trying to make some easy money. Do not buy it...just rent it.

Medal of Honor: Airborne: Xbox 360
This is a good addition to the series and the game is fun to play, however, there are some things I dislike about this game, which is:

- It is not compatible with the dual shock 3 controller, so no rumbling when firing your weapons. Which is totally difference then the rest of the series, that's disappointing.

- EA didn't include actual WW2 video footage, like in the rest of the series. I'm a big WW2 fan, so I enjoyed seeing what actually happened in the war.

- You can't do a military crawl like the rest of the series and I don't like the way grenades explode - it's kind-of weak.

- It's too short; which is my complaint regarding the entire series, with the exception of FRONTLINE, which is the best one out of the entire series; in my humble opinion.

If I had to rank the series (FOR PS2 & PS3 users), it would be in this order: FRONTLINE, EUROPEAN ASSAULT, AIRBORNE, RISING SUN. I put European Assault ahead of the PS3 Airborne because of the things I mention above (no actual WW2 video

Assassin's Creed: Xbox 360
If you like 3rd person sword fighting, you're going to love this game. It also has the feature of espionage, with the silent kill (or knife in the back missions). I think that the replay value is incredibly high, since when I first got this, I couldn't put it down (even after I beat it). Speaking of the ending; that is one of the disappointing features, but I think that's because nothing is resolved since Ubisoft seemed to leave the ending open for a sequel. However, the gameplay is fantastic, it's an open world that lets you travel where you want, scaling buildings, into the sky, never gets old, and the swordplay (controller set) is great. Their are only two complaints that I have heard about this game: 1: the aforementioned lackluster ending & 2: it can be kind of easy to complete, although there are plenty of missions (not too short just kinda easy with once you learn the counter moves). Nonetheless, if you haven't played this game, you're missing out on one of the BEST games released

WALL-E: Xbox 360
My son and I are big into games like this and are especially big fans of the Lego Star wars and Indiana Jones series. This game is NOTHING like that.

On top of being full of bugs, this game is beyond hard for certain level completion. The first Wall-e section is a little entertaining, but not co-op mode as advertised. The second level is an Eve training, I'm an advanced gamer and it took me over four hours to complete. And it was FAR from anything fun or entertaining. I just wanted to beat it to see if there actually was an co-op mode.

Forza Motorsport 2: Xbox 360
A good simulator is a beautiful thing. I remember way back when the first Gran Turismo had come out in Japan and a friend of mine showed it to me (like 6 months before it came out in America) and I first glanced at the hidden high-resolution mode. I remember thinking that it didn't look like a playstation game and didn't play like one either. It played like something from the future, like something brought back in a time-machine. Every since Gran Turismo people have been trying to steal its thunder with their own driving simulator for the masses. The first one that made a dent was Forza for the Xbox. And naturally when the long-awaited 360 version came out people were excited (and especially since Gran Turismo 5 has been ages in development the full-priced tech demo called Prologue is a disappointment to some as it lacks full-version...depth). It ain't perfect. But it really is quite a beast.

If you're looking for the perfect driving simulator you can look somewhere else (Gran Prix Legends

Unreal Tournament 3: Xbox 360
Ahhh! Finally a 360 game that measures up to the original PC version of Unreal Tournament. It's lightening fast, gorgeous, and like greeting an old friend.

All the UT favorite weapons are here, the nuclear redeemer, sniper rifle, shock rifle, flak cannon, and bio gun. Sadly the only one that's missing is The Ripper, which used to shoot saw blades and had an alternate fire option that would let you bounce them off walls and around corners. As in the PC version the Redeemer can be fired guided or unguided, and you bet you can use the alt fire on a shock rifle to launch a ball of plasma that you can then shoot to cause an explosion.

The game includes many multiplayer maps to choose from including an updated version of the classic Deck 16! You can play these via system link or on Xbox Live. Maps are beautiful in HD and play like greased lightening on Live. No more tactical sorts of slow moving action or rechargeable shields. Its a welcome return to old school twitch gaming previously only

Unreal Tournament 3: Xbox 360
GAMEPLAY: Presumably okay for multi-player addicts.
GRAPHICS: Average, flat grounds and environments; nothing to write home about.
SOUND: Again, average -- nothing that we haven't heard before.

I bought this game because the trailers looked fantastic, and the self-proclaimed best single-player ever.

DON'T BE FOOLED!

This is a multi-player game only! I had to spend sixty-dollars to learn this! If you like multi-players, then this is your average run-of-the-mill multi-player. However, if you are like me and, really only enjoy playing single-player, consider yourself warned, the single-player campaign consists of mulit-player maps with AI competing against you. No bosses, no breath-taking missions, just capture the flag against AI.

I've never been so disappointed...Oh wait, then there's Alone in the Dark...

MTV Games Rock Band Special Edition (Xbox 360)
The game is a blast but the guitar it came with is awful. We use our guitar hero guitar. The buttons on the rock band guitar stick very badly.
Also, the bass pedal for the drums broke within the second week! I've heard from other people that this is pretty big problem. The game is fun but I would wait until the company gets the kinks with the instruments worked out.

Dead Rising Platinum Hits: Xbox 360
I was very exciting for 'Dead Rising' after seeing some gameplay videos online. Unfortunately, I have yet to and likely never will complete this once promising title.

First, the good. The graphics, in terms of level and character design, are very good, stylized and effective. The gameplay is great, dropping you in the middle of (literally) hundreds of zombies without a hiccup in framerate, to slice and bash away with any makeshift weapon of choice. It's open ended, ensuring no two playthroughs are the same. It has dozens of characters and missions. It is fun to play, for a while.

Unfortunately, the bad more than outweighs the good, and you may never see much of the story. There are a number of issues that, alone wouldn't be so bad, and might even enhance the experience positively (with one glaring, unforgivable exception), but combined cripple any progress past the first hour or two of the game. The inventory system is very limited; weapons, health, and booster items all use the same
