Purchased this new in box last night and took it home to set up. It booted up fine and set up my Windows password etc. Went to connect to my home wireless network and it was out of range if I was more than 30 feet from the router. Reset router, diabled security on the router to no avail. Then re-booted several times at which point the control panel froze up and got intermittent errors. Put it back in the box and returned to store. Exchanged for the Toshiba L505D-S5983 so far so goood.

Sorry, but your problem not is the Laptop, your problem is your Router...
