ok so I needed a new phone. I like this phone. You can give each handset a name, so u know which room it belongs to. you can "talk" to other ppl in the house. I can "cal/intercoml" my husband from downstairs. The phone has ringtones, speakerphone.
What I don't like is the screen. Most of the phones i had in the past showed the first & last name ,number, date n time of the caller. This phone, when it rings, only shows first few letters of last name- no number. So I cant even screen my calls. When the phone rings and phone displays "CELL PH" or "VERIZON" or the first few letters of last name like I said before. I dont know who it is!! It really stinks not knowing who's calingII The Caller ID menu STINKS. When you scroll it shows u the first few letters of last name on the screen, then you have to press a button to go to next screen which shows you the phone number, then press the button again to see the date n time. Why would PHILIPS make such a nice phone with those nice features and skimp on the screen. OH and i dont think it has call waiting caller id. When it beeps i see nothing on the screen.
This phone is real nice, but if caller id is very important to you dont get it.
I mean i guess i would return the phone just cause of the caller id screen. but i threw out the boxes
