Pros: Tiny, light, strong, sturdy, easy to type, well layed out keyboard, good aesthetics, fast, long battery life, very low cost, well layed out port map
Cons: Crap Acer version of Linux Fedora (Easy to change)!
This is a great option for any student, simple as that. This laptop has the equal power (when it was bought) to a £550 laptop, i payed only £185 for mine, plug it into a monitor & external mouse, keyboard. Problem solved? On the go - portable, easy to use, lightweight, sturdy
At home - takes up no space on your table like a laptop.
I instantly put windows 7 on this laptop via USB after a simple few procedures (format disk, add files!) the netbook was easily able to handle a USB installation, unlike MANY others. (It even works, tested, with iATKOS/hackintosh etc, yes, it's THAT compatible! especially with the intel chip). The original fedore is, okay, but quite lame.. like using a mobile phone really. Kinda useless. You can pay about £20 for a windows OS, if you're not so technically advanced.
My main point is, how great & fast this is for such a tiny machine, it's ridiculous. It has not yet crashed ONCE running high res windows 7 aero theme. Pushed quite hard infact with lots of apps open.
If you're a student, this is a MUST have!
