I bought a samsung ln32b550 because I read that this lg had poor black levels and a poor backlight. Well the truth is the samsungs black levels were arlight and the backlight on it was aweful. I ended up buying the lg and returning the samsung. This LG has just as good black levels and the backlight actually looks alright. The price is also right for this tv.
