2nd one was outstanding

I ordered this item to act as a laptop replacement for grad school. What appealed to me was the long battery life, the portability, and the generally positive reviews.

The first one I had was dead on arrival. It would do everything fine during setup, but once I started to do anything resembling normal operations the screen would invert all of its colors. After a couple hours with Acer tech support we concluded it was dead.

Second one has worked as advertised and just hums along. Reasonably quiet, very good battery life (longest I've gotten is 6 hours), does it's intended tasks very well. Will not fool anybody into thinking it's a gaming rig, but for day to day utility computing, this thing is outstanding.

Big props to PC Connection in getting me a replacement unit extremely quickly and for making the return process a breeze.
