This unit does what it claims to. Digital reception is solid. Recording works well, but is a bit tedious in that there are delays associated with many things (perhaps this is common to all such units). Put in a new disk? Wait for it to format. Pop out a DVD+RW? Wait for it to write some things. But again, this may be common to all such units. The quality of the DVD recordings is very good, depending on how you set it. Remote works well and is well laid out. Happy customer so far...
