Bought a Canon SLR in my 20s. Kept it, used it, loved it, abused it into my 40s. Went digital with a Fuji advanced point & shoot. Now in my 50s and bought the Canon T2i - my first DSLR - about a month ago. Saved the money and didn't buy the T3i - didn't want the movable screen and everything else is pretty much the same.
