ASUS XONAR D1 -7.1 Channel PCI Audio Card Sound Card
Pros: Easy To Use, Good Audio Quality, Perfect for gaming, Reliable Performance
So this audio card is the best bag for your buck for gamers. It delivers the BEST sound you'll ever hear and at a decent price, not too much to spend on a good sound card. The only thing I will say is that the drivers that come with it are for Vista*, not windows 7, so this can make installation very difficult, and tedious. BUT, its easy as pi if you know in advance, just go to their website and get the w7 drivers :D I use Astro A40 and A30 headphones along with the Astro Mixamp via optical digital connection. Again, the optical port is an ADAPTER, so it is guaranteed* to be lesser quality than a real port. However, it's so minuscule, there's really no way to tell in the end.

I really do recommend this card, but go a little higher if you can, you won't regret it.
