Pros: Connects to your wiimote
Cons: I guess $20.00 is a little pricy.
If you want to play SNES or N64 Virtual Console games, a Wii Classic Controller or GameCube controller is mandatory, due to the triggers. I bought this yesterday, because I wanted to play Super Mario World which I bought today. The controller cost me $20.00 at GameStop.
Before I bought it and took it out of the package, I thought the controller plugged into the Gamecube controller slots. To my surprise, it connects to your wiimote. So I like that it's somewhat wireless, it's a hell of a lot better than plugging it into the slots. (Which is one reason I'd want this instead of a GameCube controller.)
But the thing works as it should. It is basically the same thing as a Super Nintendo controller, but this has 2 analog sticks. You can use the left one for SNES games, but I'd rather use the arrow pad.
So overall, I like it. I guess I have to recommend buying it, as it is needed to play VC games. (Unless you have GameCube controllers, of course.)
