Very Disappointed

BUYER BEWARE- The description might state that it is compatible with any dockable iPod model, but that is not true. After receiving the product and going thru the manual I was dismayed to find that it is only compatible with iPod models available November 2006 or before, rendering it useless for my iPod Touch. Also, as other reviewers have pointed out, the FM reception is terrible. If I held the AC cord in my hand, I could receive 2 FM stations, otherwise I had absolutely no FM reception at all. I just received this last night, and will be returning it today.

awful experience!

Everything started well. Good sound, lots of features. But it only plays one song from the playlist for the wakeup alarm. After only one month of owning it it started to fritz out. Playing one and a half songs, two and a half, one half, (random wakeup playbacks), finally it automatically set itself to nap mode and the alarm started going off every 60 seconds and nothing would stop it. Even tried unplugging it and pulling out the battery, then reassembling it. It never stopped resetting itself to nap mode! It has been an awful experience.

Does what it says it will

The light is a little too bright, even in the "dim" mode and the alarm settings on the side are less easy to use than expected, especially with all the little buttons on the top it's hard to get it right in the dark. The lack of an "hour" and "minute" button makes the alarm setting more tedious than necessary. The music plays well, remote works well and the motion dectector for snooze is a nice feature. Overall it's a decent product.

very unsatisfied with this product. remote dosn't work beyond 2 1/2 feet. only one speaker works, sound quality isn't great and sounds fuzzy. FM reception is average. can't wait to return it so i can get a different kind of system.

Looking for an Alarm Clock... or a Stereo?

I bought this for the actual ALARM capabilities. The fact that I can choose the music to wake up with is the bonus. If I was using this primarily as a stereo, I might look elsewhere.

Because I bought this because I needed the multi-function alarm, I'm not inclined to be as choosy as other people. It also helps that I haven't had any of the commonly listed problems with my iTone. I bought this to use as a clock radio for my bedroom and love it! It has decent sound, it's easy to see the time in the middle of the wee hours and I appreciate the multiple alarm settings; I don't have to change the alarm from day to day when my schedule may vary.

Now for the negative aspects, for which I took away two stars. (Actually, I would have given this item 3.5 stars, but there isn't a way to go halvsies):

I wish that I could adjust the tone and/or bass. It's preset to where most people probably like it, but I would like to have the choice just the same. This is worth one star alone.
