Pros: Organize all your CD's into 8 different groups, and then randomly play the hundreds of tracks from a given group.
Cons: Could be a bit more user-friendly when setting up your CD's
This unit is a fantastic way to easily store, label, and play your hundreds (up to 300) of CD's at a touch of a button, all in a manageable size component fitting nicely into your stereo system. I have mine wired directly to my home theater system. This is a perfect jukebox and easily beats ripping and storing each track onto a computer. Each CD can be labelled (either by the machine or by a keyboard, which I used) and easily assigned to one of eight music style groups (jazz, classical, male singers, etc - you make up your own names). Then, when you want to play a CD, simply dial the CD (either by group or by name) and hit play. A great feature which I use at get-togethers, is to choose a music style group (for example, Solo Piano) and set the unit to random shuffle all discs. It will proceed to randomly choose a CD from that group and then randomly choose a track from the CD and play it. This continues all night so you always get a different track which produces a nice variety of music from the same style all night!!
