I haven't had any of the "flimsiness" or "echo" problems mentioned by others, and I do use the phone daily (but not for 4 hours at a time).The wireless nature of the headset allows me to use both hands to find material while still talking. I love it that I can walk around while talking, even going to another floor to get a cup of coffee. I haven't had the nerve to go to the bathroom while on the phone, however.
The headset is so light that sometimes I forget to remove it, especially after a long call.
However, the headset microphone failed after 11 months. The headset battery was swollen, and I offered to buy a new one; but Customer Service insisted they send me a replacement phone. It arrived promptly, complete with a FedEx return label for the failed unit. The only burden on me was to key in the stored telephone numbers from my old unit into my new one.

I have chronic problems with my neck and talking on the phone just kills me. With the new headset I now love talking on the phone again...It's just a little confusing when you pick up the handset and switch to the headset. I keep hanging up on the person on the phone, but I'll get better...So in a nut shell I love it!! Thanks.

We bought this phone 19 months ago and have been happily using it with great sound quality. As the earclip with the headset looked cheap, we've been using it with great care, but ultimately it just broke. I contacted their customer non-service department and they refused my claim and said it was customer damage. I was particularly insulted as I KNOW we were very careful with it, so I explained it must have been a defect in the material or workmanship and should be covered by the limited warranty. I escalated the call 3 times before getting the manager (i.e. they gave me the run around). The absurdity of them not sending this 2 cent plastic insert piece gives one an idea of how they regard their customers. If you don't want to use the headset I expect you'd be fine. As I need to use the headset this defect renders this phone worthless to me.

I have to admit I was 100% sceptical and actually planned on returning the phone....that is until I used it. This phone completely exceeded my expectations. After getting tangled in my previous headphones wire 1 too many times, I was looking for an alternative and this was it.
I am typcally very critical of phone sound quality, both on my end and the other callers end. I have received no complaints and have even left myself voicemails on other lines to hear it for myself.

After trying dozens of wired headsets and having them all break or get static, I finally decided to pay more money for this wireless set. I have not been disappointed. The quality is excellent, it is easy to use, it has never run out of juice, and it has an incredible range even outside the house. I like that I can answer the phone just from the headset, too.

I had been looking for a wireless headset cordless phone for a very long time. This is it! I was tired of being attached to wires that were constantly in my way. The headset is very light weight and comfortable. The handset is small and light weight enough to fit in your pocket. The range is really good and the battery charge hold well. I use it everyday and had to charge it once in a week. You can roam around with the headset on and do not have to be close to the handset. The sound quality is good compared with other cordless phones (considering most lines are analog not digital).This phone is great for the home worker or a busy mom.

I am on the phone a lot, and I was hesitant to purchase this phone because I could not find any reviews, but I needed something to replace my Plantronics CT12 because it was always interfering with my wireless internet connection. The CT12 is a 2.4GHz phone, so I wanted something that was (a) 5.8GHz or 900MHz (a different frequency then my wireless router), (b) very light and comfortable to wear, (c) had good sound quality. The GE ViSYS (which actually says RCA on the phone) looked good, but it was VERY difficult to find information on its frequency. This information was not in the Amazon technical specs, and many other vendors neglected to mention this important piece of information. I managed to find a description of the phone on eBay, and the seller said it's a 900MHz extended range phone, and I found another description that said the phone was 5.8GHz - since either would not interfere with my wireless internet connection I decided to take a risk and purchase the phone.
