I cannot find any faults in this product. I have purchased several of these, I gave them away for christmas presents, birthday presents, everone just love it.

Pros: Easy To Setup, Good Remote Control, Thumbdrive accessibility
I had the older unit that required connecting to a computer via USB for file transfer. With this unit plug in a thumb drive and then copy and paste. Very simple to use. Very happy I upgraded to this model, use primarily for digital event signage.

Easy setup &amp; easy to use &amp; connect. <br >It does not play mkv or most of other common video formats. iOmega need to update their Software &amp; provide us to upgrade it for free.

Pros: Easy Setup
At a price of 1TB external drive, it's a good buy, great for storing digital pictures. <br /><br />out of the box it only supports very limited video formats, not a true Media Plyer. Wish there will be firmware upgrade available to support more video formats.

All my stored media, which were earlier in many places, are now all in one place. Storing and playing them are equally easy and fun. So much room for more media still. Am loving this comfort.

Pros: Easy to use and set up, compact, not entirely made of plastic. Cons: Does not come with an HDMI cable, units are known for getting hot and the user interface could use a little work (chapter selection would be nice on videos).

I have owned this for a while and have had alot of issues. It does not like to pause. When you press play after pausing, it performs a Surprise Removal and then you have to start from scratch. This is really annoying. it also plays now and then out of sinc with the audio and you then have to stop what you are watching and reboot. You can never guarantee that this is going to work. VERY FRUSTRATING.

In compare to other similar products: this one is working good, the price is right, and supports most of the formats but no support for Mkv, Mp4 and windows media audios or video files. I would prefer one that support all formats but well, this is what I can find so I'm gonna stick with it for now. Over all it has been working great for me so far. It have not stop working for me. I'd recommend someone to buy this product again.

Pros: Easy Setup, Good Remote Control
Overall a nice product. Two formats I regularly use on my computer and like to see on the screenplay are MKV and RMVB. I expect to get the software update free of charge from iomega. Anyway this has good features at attractive price. I will buy one more to gift to my dad.

Pros: Easy Setup, Good Remote Control
The only thing I don't like, besides it running hot, is that while you're watching a program you can see time elapsed when pushing info on the remote control but not time remaing.

The best part of Screenplay plus is that it plays anything. Formatting for music files not required. All files are backed up without efforts and there is memory of 1 TB. Great value prod.

My 4 year old son watches all his catoons from this drive now. Not only is it simple to watch whats loaded on the drive, he also can plug his digital camera into it and look at the pictures he just took. I have a helmet camera I use when riding motorcycle, now instead of loading it to the computer, then to dvd I can plug it in and be watching the video before I even get my gear off.<br >I'm so fond of it I've given 7 of them away as christmas, birthday and wedding presents to friends and family. No one has been dissapointed. Its a shame this product isn't marketed better.

Pros: Easy Setup
I did my research around and until now iomega has this media player that competes with WD player. The advantage is that this already has the hard drive in place. No setting up required. Connect to the PC and transfer your files. Good output via the HDMI. Runs a little bit hot even while not in use when plugged to the PC.
