Western Digital WD3200KSRTL Caviar 320 GB SATA 3.5-Inch Hard Drive
Pros: Easy to set up and a great price
Cons: it only lasted 4 months
So on 9-26-2010 I went 2 Bestbuy and they said to bring it back to there store and they will give me a new one. I asked them if i can upgrade to the WD Caviar Black 1TB and they said yes i just have to pay the extra $54.00 bucks so i did that. Today i installed it 2 my board and my PC cant see it in my Bios or in My Computer. I have tryed hooking it up to all of my SATA connectors and still no luck. I even tryed putting a jumper on #7 & #8 like it says to do if i am running windows XP... So it looks like i will be taking this one back now also....

Western Digital WD3200KSRTL Caviar 320 GB SATA 3.5-Inch Hard Drive
Pros: Price Point to Performance
Cons: Nothing included but drive, but what do you want for this price?
Purchased two of these drives for a Client to upgrade from tiny 40gig 5400rpm hard drives he had in his two (Point of Sale) computers. Explained that his boot times and access times would increase and he was sold for $50 each. Great price for what they are going to be used for. These things are quiet compared to the airplane sounding stock drives I replaced. They seem to hit the sweet spot in price and product. Be warned non tech savy friends, this is a bare drive. No extra SATA cable, make sure you pick one up if you are adding this drive and not replacing.

Western Digital WD3200KSRTL Caviar 320 GB SATA 3.5-Inch Hard Drive
Pros: Its fast its cool and it works
Cons: No Cables and no disk
I have never had to replace a WD hard drive because it failed, I have out grown them though. I was suprised not to find a cable or cd in a retail box.<br />I installed the drive cloned the old one removed it and restarted. Ran HDtune and got a speed of 105Mb to 65 mb with no errors and a temp of 104F What more can you ask for at under 50 bucks.

Western Digital WD3200KSRTL Caviar 320 GB SATA 3.5-Inch Hard Drive
Pros: Pretty fast
Cons: Died fast too
Mine died after six months. Also during the install I had to go buy the correct cables as my system is older and did not have them. I think this was the first time I had one die so fast. Normally I like WD but I got burned this time.

I was dissapointed first by the packing. I ordered two, and both drives were in the same box, with no air bags or bubble wrap! They were floating around the box, unbelievable... On top of that, these do not have the dual power outlets which is what I was wanting. THEY ONLY HAVE SATA POWER as NOT shown in product photography.

It really is just a bare drive in a box. There was no cable included or driver disk. I would have been better off just buying an OEM driver from another online vendor, and saved money doing so.

I got this in hopes that replacing the harddrive would fix my computer's crashing problem. It didn't, but it's still a nicer harddrive than I had- quieter, faster (usually. But then, my computer's a lemon, so i can't be hard on this drive). When I purchased it it came with no cables- some reviews mention cables and even discs and manuals, but it was not the case with mine- i bought a cheap cable off of newegg though, and plugging it all in and getting it set up wasn't hard.
