Seagate BlackArmor NAS 220 2-Bay 4 TB (2 x 2 TB) Network Attached Storage ST340005LSA10G-RK
Pros: Not much
Cons: Stops working
Please go to http://forums.seagate.com/ and read the posts on this and other Seagate NAS's. I wish I had done this as this is not worth the money. I have had nothing but issues with it locking up. Seagate support us useless too.

Seagate BlackArmor NAS 220 2-Bay 4 TB (2 x 2 TB) Network Attached Storage ST340005LSA10G-RK
Pros: ease of setup
Cons: low performance drives
The server arrived with a bad drive (obviously not run through quality control) and the replacement drive that tech support ordered was out of stock (which hints at endemic quality issues). Peformance is mediocre (to be expected with a 5900rpm drive), but tech support did a very good job at getting a replacement drive ordered. Recommended for others based upon tech-support.

Seagate BlackArmor NAS 220 2-Bay 4 TB (2 x 2 TB) Network Attached Storage ST340005LSA10G-RK
Pros: Fast, reliable
Cons: Software didn't work. Had to find IP in dhcp lease table
After experiencing nightmares with the Western Digital My Book II, I purchased this hoping that it would not freeze up all the time and need rebooting. This one is a gem compared to the WD unit. The only issue I had was finding it on the network. The software could not see it so I had to go into our router and find the units MAC address to find out what the IP address was; but after getting the IP it was easy to configure with new shares and get the backups going.

Seagate BlackArmor NAS 220 2-Bay 4 TB (2 x 2 TB) Network Attached Storage ST340005LSA10G-RK
Pros: Doesn't take up alot of space, easy to install and use
Cons: nothing
I'm very happy with this server. It has worked without any problems
Keep in mind that with the unit set at raid 1, your total disk space is
2 TB. I didn't understand when I bought the unit,but i set the raid to 0
and it works just fine that way. I also use it to backup 3 computers.
The backup software is very easy to use - basically one click will
backup your computer.

Seagate BlackArmor NAS 220 2-Bay 4 TB (2 x 2 TB) Network Attached Storage ST340005LSA10G-RK
Pros: Easy to install, lots of storage

I installed this and had it connected to my network in less than 20 minutes. We access it from multiple computers, use it for file storage and sharing. We have had no issues at all, highly recommend!

Seagate BlackArmor NAS 220 2-Bay 4 TB (2 x 2 TB) Network Attached Storage ST340005LSA10G-RK
Pros: Great media storage
Cons: Need a larger version. lol
This is a great server for home or work needs. I have 3 of these now and they all have great speed as long as on a gigabit network. I only wish seagate made a 8T. Bought my first one 6 months ago and so far so good. They run 24-7 with no problems. They seem to have good cooling fans in them yet quiet. They are small enough to fit just about anywhere. over all, i just love them.

Seagate BlackArmor NAS 220 2-Bay 4 TB (2 x 2 TB) Network Attached Storage ST340005LSA10G-RK
Pros: Great price for the storage size and mirrorring.
Cons: User guides could be better laid out.
I use the BlackArmor NAS to back up all my PC and laptops at home, plus to stream iTunes muisc. Now I have all my music, pictures, and videos in one place protected by RAID 1 disk mirrorring. The BlackArmor NAS also interfaces with my DirecTV DVR, where I can access all my music, pictures, and video's so that I can listen/view them on my 52" home entertainment system. A must have!!! Total protection with remote web access to your files...
