Not for 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise

Does not install on 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise ed. without a patch for setup from Roxio technical support. Creator 2010 does install on 64-bit Vista Ultimate and 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium out of the box. You need to download service pack 1 from Roxio and install it. DVD writing to Plextor and Samsung drives was a bit troublesome prior to doing so.

Does not measure up to description

Hugely disappointing. I paid for it on my factory ordered Dell laptop and I deeply regret having made the choice. Issues - Not intuitive as far as usability goes - No real features that differentiate it with the software that accompanied by sony camera and handycam. Infact my Sony software worked faster and more efficiently

Terrible Product

I recently purchased Creator 10. I got it installed and all that will work is the cd copier and making audio cds. I cannot use the DVD parts of the program. It won't open and it says "No permissions to launch application".

I have contacted support 2 weeks ago and I stiil have not received an answer. They closed a ticket without responding to me. I opened a new ticket and they still don't have an answer. This has been a dissapointment to me. I have Roxio 6 and it has always worked great, but after dealing with Creator 10 I would not reccomend the product.

BEWARE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT !!

This is my first review. I usually weigh the positive and negatives in product review. But I must agree with the dukeblue from Florida. This product is terrible. I am having the same problems he is having. I have tried to install this product 6 times now with the same results will not install due to an interruption in the installation process wizard. i went to Roxio website and found directions on how clean install and reinstall that did not work at all. It seems many people at the Roxio discussion groups are having the same problem. Forget about support I have not received any replies.
I have had Roxio products before and had very little issues with them but this 2010 is TERRIBLE. Don't waste your money on this program.

Slow and Inefficient!

I guess the fact that it took more than thirty minutes to load on my computer, a computer with a 2GHZ processor and 2 GB of RAM, should have been a clue. This software, while adorned with more bells and whistles than one can imagine, is basically a big clunker. It it so big and clunky that it takes five minutes to open the program everytime you want to use it and it then proceeds to consume all of the computers resources while operating. Several features in the software appear not to work, such as Audio Capture. My sound card works great with everything else I do, but Roxio can't recognize the sound card. The process of making a movie is cumbersome and complicated for the average user and you really have to read their entire 200 page manual (not provided but online) to learn the basics. Overall, very disappointed.

Buyer Beware

I have not been able to install Creator 2010 after multiple attempts. I have a brand new quad-core new HP desktop running Windows Vista 64-bit. i have tried every trick in the book, including deselcting all programs from startup, uninstalling the previous attempts, etc. The worst part is that Roxio customer service refuses to help. You can only contact them through their website and the customer service interface is poorly designed. After contacting Roxio four times I have yet to even get any response at all concerning how to solve the installation problem. I have received replies basically telling me they want me to rephrase the question. Despite answering every system-related question they ask all I recieved back was a scolding for opening a second issue ticket! These people are apparently not at all interested in helping you solve an installation problem. The product is a waste of money in my opinion. Buyer beware!

Roxio Creator 2010

After using Roxio products since EMC 5 they have really out done themselves with this one. This version is based on Creator 2009 with the bugs worked out and is much faster when it comes to rendering video. The Pro edition comes with a built in Blue Ray plug in so you can burn Blue Ray discs and HD video. Roxio has free phone support for all their Flagship products and many other free support options for software that is not flagship. There has been a few new options added that were not available before such as Venue so you can rent or purchase videos and down load them to your computer from Cinemanow. Well done Roxio !

This Stinks

This is one of the most unintuitive software products I have ever encountered & I have almost 30 years of computer graphics, CADD & video imaging experience. What's worse is Roxio expects you to pay additional for tech support & doesn't support anything except the most recent current product. They don't want to be bothered by people who's money they've already taken. STAY AWAY.

Best burning software!

Roxio Creator 2010 is very good!
Faster burning and copying on new Roxio Burn widget on Windows 7 desktop better than Nero Disc Copy gadget. I found verify options in both Burn Data Disc and Copy Disc. Verify options is no longer "OPTION" in Tool menu on Roxio creator 2010. New Roxio Burn widget support both 32 bit and 64 bit. Nero Copy Disc gadget not support 64 bit!
