Ear Force PX21 PS3 Headset
Pros: good sound until it breaks
Cons: Has internal wiring defect at control unit
Product breaks internally at controller. All of a sudden it just quits working only had it for 6 months before mine broke. I dont recommend the turtlebeach px21. Took mine back to best buy they said it only had a 90 day warranty, so im stuck buying another headset. I will try a different brand of headset.

Ear Force PX21 PS3 Headset
Pros: When They work, they work fantastic.
Cons: Cheap Wiring, flimsy at best
Owned three of these. Had to have them replaced 3 times. Wiring going into the control and wire going into the headset keeps separating thus making these inoperable. I've suggested they look into there quality control and have this remedied. Use a heavier guage wire. Listen to your customers. I will say however, that they've replaced them everytime. But that still doesn't fix the initial problem. Fix the problem and I'll be a loyal customer.

Ear Force PX21 PS3 Headset
Pros: Used with 360 and PS3, Independent Chat & Gaming Volumes, Lots of BASS, Amplified Sound, Crisp Sound
Cons: Wired, Not enough cord for intense gaming, Wires tend to break, Mic overly sensitive
Although the TB PX21 headset was awesome while it still worked (literally just quit last night, worked great for about 8 months) I was able to stay away from being knifed several times being able to hear my attacker before they hit. Worked great with Battlefield and Halo games. I mainly purchased this headset because I was sick of the MS chat headsets dying after a couple months of use and figured I needed an upgrade.

Ear Force PX21 PS3 Headset
Got them about 6 months ago, worked great til about 2 months ago. Then the right speaker started goin in and out and finally tonight gave out on me. They were good now they're gonna sit by the tv kinda pointless to use them when I could have a bluetooth headset and hear the same thing out of one ear

Ear Force PX21 PS3 Headset
Pros: Sound, Microphone, Cable length, independant voice, and game volumes
Cons: durability, cable length, complexity of use.
The PX21 was the first "expensive" headset I tried and as such turned out to be one of the best I've ever used. However during the year I owned it I had to replace it twice, and eventually, just throw them away as the warranty ran out.

Ear Force PX21 PS3 Headset
Pros: Good game advantage
Cons: Everything else
I'm a professional gamer for both the PS3 and Xbox systems. I'm no stranger when it comes to headsets from turtle beach. I've competited in national competitions and won most because of Turtle Beach's. But however the PX21's are not a good headset. I've used every single Turtle Beach and this is the worst by far. In a week a circiut blew in the left ear and i couldn't hear friends or my game. Once i got a second pair the mic broke and i could no longer talk. So i got a third pair and was determined to treat them with extreme care. One day i accidently stretched the wire from the ps3 and it totally malfunctioned. So once i went back to get another pair they told me i had to pay another $50 for warranty. These Turtle Beach's stink they'll break in 2 weeks. But if you want to buy them go ahead I'm just a pro that has used everysingle turtle beach i think i know what im saying.

Ear Force PX21 PS3 Headset
Pros: Quality of the sound was great when first bought.
Cons: Static noise that goes through the speakers
After 3 months the headset just falls apart. First is the static that goes through the speakers that will not stop unless you move the cables around. Second is the ear cuffs are not comfortable after wearing them for 2 hours your ears start to pound with pain.

Pros: NOTHING
Cons: WARRANTY
DO NOT BUY ANY TURTLE BEACH PRODUCTS. MY DAUGHTERS PX21 BROKE IN 90 DAYS. THE COMPANY WILL WARRANTY IT FOR 1 YEAR, BUT YOU MUST PAY FOR SHIPPING FED EX WAS $18 TO SEND BACK TO COMPANY. THEN YOU MUST WAIT ANOTHERE 10 TO 14 DAYS TO GET YOUR PRODUCT BACK. BUY SONY ONLY THEY SENT YOU A SHIPPING BOX AND THE REPLACEMENT TIME IS LESS THEN 10 DAYS. I WILL NEVER BUY ANY TURTLE BEACH ITEM AGAIN.

Ear Force PX21 PS3 Headset
Pros: clear, crisp, LOUD sound great for listening to footsteps or hearing the demons burn to death
i had a set of expensive trittons before this headset, it was good but, had echo problems on Xbox, anyways i stuck it out and finally they broke and died, i bought these and MAN! i should have done it sooner, not only is it great for gaming but, for music is just awesome while it does have awesome bass etc... for music (for me at least) i still prefer in-ear headphones but, for everything else this headset far surpassed my expectations. great for hearing the blood curtailing screams of a demon's final breaths.

Ear Force PX21 PS3 Headset
Pros: Easy to set up, long chord
Cons: breaks easily, cost
This headset is cheaply made. Definitely not worth $80. The earcups always breaks off. This is my third one in which either one or both of them break off. It isn't even that comfortable. Hurts your ears after a while because its very small. Decent sound. Definitely not the best. Mic is okay.

Ear Force PX21 PS3 Headset
Pros: Microphone chat boos
Cons: COMFORT COMFORT COMFORT, and did I mention comfort?
This headset has decent sound. Unless you put and equalizer setting with it, it doesn't have good separation. The Bass setting also messes things up. The bass setting has too high of a cutoff and makes everything sound muddy.
The way that the headset sits on your ear will put pressure on them, and they have a tendency to get hot. I've had them for a week now, and maybe returning them or taking a break from them for a while. They are actually starting to make my ears swell along the edges. I've worn more comfortable dollar store headphones.
The mic, and chat boost functions are about the best features on this headset. The work very well. The inline chat control is also a very nice feature. I first had this feature on the Triton AX720s (too bad these weren't quality, I would never be writing on this headset) and couldn't live without it now.
At this point I would recommend the cheaper Turtle Beach X12s. They are a far more comfortable headset. However it does lack the inline chat control (unless hooked to an Xbox 360) and chat boost functions. However, if you intend to game for a few hours they are the better choice.
I know Turtle Beach can do better than this. This is the outcast of their headset line. Their other products are lighter and more comfortable.

Ear Force PX21 PS3 Headset
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: EVERYTHING
Ive had 2 of them and they both broke within 1 week of use and will bust if you drop them 2 feet fomr the ground. I would not recomend them to anyone the worst headset i have ever owned and am not pleased with the product. I will never buy another product from them ever again. I would recomenfd Astro or tritton the wuallity is way better and will not brake in 2 weeks of use

Ear Force PX21 PS3 Headset
Pros: individual controls for sound and mic
Cons: too loud, sounds like speakers
I purchased these after reading good reviews and I must say my experience was not what I expected. Before I go into detail about my experience I must say these are VERY loud and they DO NOT muffle the sound when wearing. Meaning... you can hear these in the next room when someone is using them. The first set worked well for a few months until they broke completely in half after falling off the desk thankfully I had purchased the warranty and gotten a new set. With the 2nd set the microhone worked intermittently every time I used them. The individual volume controls for voice and sound etc is very nice but they were just too darn loud. they sounded like speakers and everyone could hear what was happening as if the volume on the tv was turned up.
