The mouse works as anticipated. When I arrived at store to pick up, they were out of blue, so I chose purple because I needed the mouse for class the next day.

This is an inexpensive wireless mouse that works great and smooth. The only negiitive is having to remove and install the USB port receiver when transporting your laptop.

My wife was getting frustrated with the cord on her corded mouse frequently getting hung up. This mouse was on sale for $15 - not to be beat. She very much enjoys this new mouse - no cord, and nice small size.

Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks (Cobalt Blue)

I got this mouse today and immediately installed it on my computer. My old corded "ball" mouse was going haywire so I needed a cheap replacement. This mouse is great! It fits comfortably in my fairly large hand and the levels of customization are great. You can tune the speed and acceleration to fit what suits you best. All of the buttons are customizable as well. It's nice that it uses infrared instead of the red light. I'd rather not see my mouse glowing at me while I'm using it. The side scroll is great on the rare occasions when I need it. Definitely worth the price!

I shopped around on the internet for about a day. I was really looking for a cheap wireless mouse for gaming on my desktop. This one caught my eye because of the sale price (it costs 2x as much at Wal-Mart). I was a little disappointed when I first saw it in the store because of the size. I decided I wasn't going to get it. Then I went to check out the other mice and found the out-of-package display mice, and I tested the feel of this one. It is a little small, but not too bad. It felt alright in my hand. I asked about the return policy and the cashier told me I could take it back within 30 days if I decided I didn't want it, so I didn't have to risk wasting my money. It even comes with a battery, so that was a bonus. I downloaded the driver and speed-controlling software from the Logitech website. The software (not driver) was something like 65MB, which was oddly big. Oh well, not a problem. It lets you customize the movement speed and the acceleration separately, but I couldn't get it

to exactly where my old mouse was, so it took a couple games to get used to. I also had to get used to the way my hand was positioned. My arm got a little tired and my fingers hurt on the first game, then after that it felt totally normal. I thought this mouse might suck, since my dad has a similar one (different brand) for his laptop and it picks up movement like 4 inches from the surface, which means you have to pick it up very high to reposition it and continue scrolling (I play FPS and RTS games, so this completely ruins it). This one is perfect in that respect. Also, my dad's mouse felt really awkward in my hand, so much so that I have been using a wired Compaq optical mouse with newspaper for a mouse pad. It is the only thing that that mouse will work correctly on. With this mouse, I just removed the newspaper and use it on my wooden desk. My friend and I made my computer desk with two-by-fours and plywood. The mouse works perfect on the partially sanded plywood. There are even some 1/4 inch deep slots where wood is chipped off at, but this mouse acts like they aren't there at all. The package says the battery will last 6 months. I doubted it at first until I noticed it is impossible to tell the mouse is turned on, even in the dark. It wastes no energy. Since I play so much, the battery will probably last about two months. The only mouse I have ever used that was better than this one was another Logitech, full-sized and made for gaming. I only wish this were full-sized, then it would be awesome. I'm not complaining for 15 dollars though. This is more than I expected. I recommend this mouse to anyone who needs one and doesn't want to spend 40-50 dollars. It works great for gaming!
PS: I have a Dell desktop with a bunch of USB ports on the back that are crammed very close together. I read complaints of the mouse receiver blocking other ports. This doesn't happen for me. I don't think it would on a laptop either, since my USB ports are as close together as physically possible.
