I must say that I am extremely pleased with this laptop. I was a little nervous buying a refurbished computer, but I had no reason to be. I have had this computer for about a month now and everything works fine. This is a great computer for me as a college student. It's large in size, but lighter in weight than other 17" laptops which is great for me when I have to haul it across campus all day in my backpack. I highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone, but especially for students who are on a tight budget but need a high-performance laptop! :-) Daniel, Florida Panhandle

Great laptop if you like the size of a 17". Strong performance with an excellent feel and look. Suitable for use when making business presentations. Easily upgraded to final release of Windows 7.The only con is that shared by most reviewers... The bronze keyboard is very difficult to read dim light or glare.

I bought this laptop for my wife and am very impressed with it. Our friends bought the exact same one for their daughter who is heading off to college and they paid nearly $1000 for it at a retail store. It has a lot of features that we probably won't even use, like the wireless remote for doing powerpoint presentations and such, but it sure is nice to have that capability. It seemed to be a little slow when we first got it, so I went into msconfig and took all of the programs out of the task bar that were slowing it down, and now it zips right along(and it also runs cooler). It connected flawlessly to our network and gets very good signal anywhere in our house. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase!

I love this laptop: it is sleek and beautiful, performs well, and I was able to download my existing software (Microsoft Office Home and Student and Adobe Acrobat) onto it without having to pay twice for the software - since each allows you to have it installed both on your Desktop and on your Laptop.It is larger than I needed, but I am very happy with it as the 17" screen makes it easier to read than a smaller screen.

I have had nothing but problems with this computer...I am on the verge of returning it. The DVD drive does not work half the time...the Vista operating system is horrible...and HP has this Media program that never loads properly. The webcam freezes continually. I am not a novice using computers, but this one has me stymied. The features sounded great...they just don't seem to work that great. I am wondering if it isn't the operating system? Or is it the computer.

I was very impressed with this computer. A computer with this much power for this kind of price was amazing. I would recommend this deal to anyone. Get it before they found out that they missed priced it!

I just love this laptop! Sleek design, great performance, large screen....everything you could want in a laptop. The Overstock price was unbeatable and I received it within 3 days of order. Get one while they are still available.

I absolutely LOVE this laptop. It is PERFECT! It gives me great performance, even better than I expected! Great graphics, speed, huge hard drive, this laptop has it all. All of this, and it comes in a beautiful bronze colored case, standard size keyboard, great to either do my work on or watch a DVD on. If I had to offer one criticism it would be that I would like the keyboard to have the option to light up as I work a lot at night and it is hard to see the letters on the keys sometimes. I'm very proud to own this laptop, get envious looks from my co-workers and friends. When this laptop arrived, all I had to do was open the box, insert the battery, plug it in and go to work with just a minimal amount of on-screen setup features required to do. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this laptop, and extremely pleased with ease of ordering from Overstock.

I reloaded Vista Ultimate and it work great, no problem so far. Make sure you download all the drivers from HP.com, but most likely Vista will pick it up automatically. Other than that I am happy what I paid for.

The first thing I can say about this laptop is WOW! I got a great deal on a fabulous computer that came really fast even with standard shipping. Installation was a breeze and I was up and running very quickly. I've heard that Vista was hard to use and problematic--but I haven't had a single problem. I've had the laptop for several weeks now and I am still impressed with every single one of it's functions. The picture program is fabulous, the webcam works great, and the speakers are impressive for a laptop. If you are considering this laptop--do not hesitate! It is a wonderful laptop with tons of functionality.

I think the product is excellent. Couldn't have asked for a better deal or value. The problem is that it takes like 20 minutes to load from start up to desktop. it's very annoying but other than that it works fine and is very nice laptop.

Hi All after having my last lap top stolen at an airport I was in desperate need of something to use for work and play while traveling. I did not want to spend alot of money as I had not even finished paying of my last laptop that was stolen . And this was great had everything I needed plus more bells and whistles, and all for 500 and some change it was awsome, priced it new to buy would have been around 2000. I also bought my daughter a Refurbished laptop here as well she loves it ! Thanks Overstock.com

Overall a very nice system. Happy with the picture, sound and graphics. Not a big fan of Vista, pushed my license up to Vista premium and things are much easier. I am using it for work and it has been pretty good. My only problem is with the battery life. I would buy a second one for my wife if I had the money.

This has got to be the best laptop deal I have ever seen. The package shipped quickly (within 5-7 days) with basic shipping. The laptop was nicely packed into 2 cardboard boxes and lots of bubble wrap. The laptop has an sweet looking design on it's top and by it's keyboard. I was worried that the bronze color might look a little ugly but I was completely thrown off by how stylish this computer looks. It will completely stand out from the boring grey and black colors of normal computers.The touch sensitive buttons are a little slow to respond but they work just fine. The webcam works really nice. It even comes with some extra software for video editing. The AMD processor and ATI graphics card is just fine for gaming. Also the glowing HP logo on the cover adds a lot of flair to the notebook. It's really an amazing buy.

This laptop has been the best purchase I have made. It looks and functions like new. Good value for the price, received it very quickly and in good shape. I'm now waiting for a printer to come. I will definitely buy more from this website. Very impressed!!

Really the only things missing on this are the 2 blues, Ray and Tooth. Since neither of those are really that important to me, this is an ideal machine.The first one shipped had a broken screen but Overstock was great and had another shipped out to me. Getting past their weird processing/shipping is the only thing to worry about.

This is a great laptop for the money. It looks better made than a MAC. My only complaint was that Vista 64 slowed it down quite a bit otherwise a well made attractive model with a fantastic 17" screen which look super.

It is difficult to find anything bad to say about this great entertainment laptop. Great picture and audio, very easy to use.Recommend keys light up and make dvd door slide smoother.

I was not looking for big screen laptop first. But I found it with good price (under $600 included everything). It's nice performance with remote controller. Battery is only for ~2 hours. I RECOMMEND IT!
