I love this TV, which I've had about 4 months. For the size, picture quality and price, it is amazing. This weighs less than my 42" plasma I have in my bedroom.

Want a large screen tv, don't want to pay LCD or plasma prices for ?

Try this one. It is a rear projection, so if you want to mount it on a wall, you'll need a special mount, although the tv itself is not that deep.

Also it is lightweight, around 78 lbs. Fits nicely on almost any stand you may have.

Cons: Speaker quality is poor, but usable. I pretty much use my surround sound for any movies that I watch. That notwithstanding, if you want a great, sharp quality picture in a large screen format without breaking the bank, try this one.

This TV is a no-brainer. If you are thinking about purchasing a TV I highly recommend this. It is a great value for the price with a phenomenal picture. I cannot comment on the sound as I have a surround sound system, but with a TV like this I imagine most people are the same. I have owned this TV about 3 weeks now and I can't imagine having anything smaller!

The picture quality on this TV is great! It is as good as all the plasma and LCD TVs I've seen and is probably better than most. It has plenty of hookups and is fairly light and easy to move around compared to others. I like the way the menu features are set up and I found it easy to navigate through. The speakers are small and produce OK sound and the remote can be a little awkard to use. It does take the TV about twenty or thity seconds to produce a picture after you cut it on, but it is a projection and that is to be expected. Bottom line, if you're not worried about having your TV mounted on a wall, you can't go wrong with this TV.

I"ve had this tv for a month now. Pros: Blue ray looks great, upconverted dvd looks good, sound is good, plenty of calibration adjustments, Hd cable is a mixed bag but mainly due to the station but for the most part very good. handles bright rooms well, Good no nonsense look, with a good signal sports are great Cons: standard stations very noisy, non upconverted dvd blurry, The tv does not do a very good job making 480i signal to look good, cannot get 5.1 sound out of tv digital coaxial output, I had trouble with yellow having a green tint to it but I was able to adjust it in pretty well. All things considered a very good value

this tv is definitely worth the price. i bought an open box 60 inch for $1,200!!!! my daughter won't watch her tv in her bedroom (but why would she want too, it a 19 inch). the only thing, if u buy this tv, u need to already have surround sound speakers or buy some. the sound is not very good (sounds like a mickey mouse radio). it also has usb ports in the front to hook up your cameras and video games. the video game screen is HUGE!!! this tv and some pioneer speakers will give u the ultimate movie theater experience!!!!.....at home

My husband still sits in the living room in awe of the picture on this set. We were worried about the size being too big, but the clarity on the picture is amazing, especially with scenery shots and the backgrounds are so clear. Thinking about it??? You won't be sorry

This was my 1st DLP, and I just sold it to step up to the 73" (same model)I love it, yes it is a projection and it does get dark a little when looking at it from the sides, for the best picture, sit somewhat in front of it. I have a small livingroom and I sit 8 feet from the screen which is perfect with HD, if you use this on regular cable it will look a little fuzzy, this really shines on HD. This also a vent port in the back left corner and puts out seems to be a lot of heat, I added two small 4" computer fans to pull out the heat and extend the life of it. But long story short, buy it! It is a great TV that's why I went even bigger 60-73"and stayed with the same TV, I didn't get any free bonus deal except free shipping and 3 years no intrest.

I got this TV in the beginning of July and I have been super pleased ever since. The picture quality is amazing. I have comcast HD and they suck but the TV makes it look good. I don't have glare problems or picture burn in. My wife left the screen on all night on a DVD menu screen and there was no burn in the next morning I now have it set sleep after 2 hours if there is no operations happening. The sound is good I don't do surround sound because I don't really need it so I think the sound is great. PS3 DVD and Cable are all on HDMI and it was so easy to set up. I play Madden against my brother all the time and even though it only plays at 720 and not 1080 like a blue ray disk the picture is still freaking amazing. Assassins Creed is super clear also. All components set up automatically like a computer. My only problem is the remote is made for people with small hands other than that for $1300 it is a steal. I looked at LCDs and Plasmas and I was very happy with this picture as compared

Just got this delivered and am very impressed, especially for the price. I had been looking for a Plasma or LCD/LED in this size range, but didn't want to spend in the range of $3-$4k, so I took a closer look at this rear projection DLP and am glad that I did. I have this hooked up to a HDMI cable box and the picture clarity is great as is the color reproduction, which is vibrant and sharply defined. I've watched a few Blu-ray movies through a Sony BDP-S360 Blu-ray player, which looked also great. As expected, the TV's speakers are pretty weak, but (as planned) I bypassed the TV's speakers and am using a Sony STR-DH800 7.1 receiver (which has a number of HDMI inputs and controls the whole set-up), along with seven speakers (Bose VCS-10 center channel and two Bose 301-V fronts, two Yamaha rear and two Yamaha surround in the ceiling) plus a compact Yamaha YST-FSW150BL subwoofer, so the audio is now more than sufficient. Note that this DLP is much smaller and lighter than older rear projection

I bought this tv online last year during Best Buy.com's Cyber Monday specials and have been enjoying it ever since. The picture is outstanding and I got and I got a great deal.

Mitsubishi is by far the best company I've seen for large projection displays. This tv makes you feel as if you are sitting at the game or concert, movie theater, etc.

I recently went to the opening of Cowboys Stadium and it was no surprise that Mitsubishi was written across the bottom of the world's largest HDTV. If Mitsubishi is good enough for facilities like this, then its a no-brainer for my living room.

I purchased this TV on the 11th of June. The interaction with Amazon & the shipping company was excellent. However, when the TV arrived and I plugged it in, it turns on for about 30 seconds, I can hear sound, but no picture. The TV then shuts itself off. After going through the troubleshooting guide and trying all the recommended steps, same result. So, I contacted Mitsubishi customer service, and this is where things really got interesting. I spoke with a number of individuals who basically took me through the same troubleshooting steps found in the manual, only much more slowly than someone with basic reading comprehension skills might expect. After repeated attempts at this, the TV unsurprisingly still did not work. I was then referred to a local, authorized service company to have a technician come out and fix the TV. However, after contacting said service company, they decided that they needed written confirmation from Mitsubishi that they would indeed be paid for their

Purchased as a Father's Day gift, and couldn't be more Blown Away by the picture quality. We owned a smaller Samsung DLP and were so pleased with it until we saw the picture on this set. The brilliance and clarity of the picture is absolutely amazing. Don't hesitate on this set if you can locate one, we had to search for a Bestbuy that had one in stock. Extremely happy with our choice.

WE HAD A 56 INCH SAMSUNG DLP THAT HAD A CONSTANT CHEMICAL SMELL TO IT AND THERE WOULD BE A SLIGHT PAUSE IN THE TV WHEN EVER THE FAN KICKED IN...THIS 60 INCH HAS NONE OF THAT AND THE PICTURE QUALITY IS SO MUCH MORE REALISTIC THAN THE SAMSUNG. WE ARE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THIS TV AND CAN'T WAIT FOR FOOTBALL SEASON TO START.

This dlp replaces the 50" samsung dlp that I've had for about 5 years with no issues. The samsung 1080i had a good picture at the time. Stepping up to 1080p was the right time because now the directv offers alot of hd stations. Got this on sale on memorial day and am very happy. If you have the space, this tv is the best for picture quality and lowest cost. Hopefully this tv will last for awhile. The speakers on the tv is not so great but I, like almost everyone, have a HT system so it is not an issue.

Monster upgrade from a 4 year old Sony 42" LCD micro-display. 3 HDMI inputs allowed direct hookup of my U-Verse DVR, DVD, and PC, bypassing the A/V reciever (the Sony had 1 input). Built in speakers should be considered 'back-ups' -- have your digital coax cable ready to send audio to your reciever for great surround sound. Looking forward to buying glasses to hook into the 3D port and playing Far-Cry 2 with video jumping out at me. Got a fantastic sale price with free delivery and setup. HD processing is fantastic.

This DLP is amazing. I bought it after comparing it to the 58" Panasonic & Samsung Plasma TVs. I also looked at a few 52" LCDs, too. Honestly, the DLP just plain looked better in the store. Once I got it home, set up was easy. Right out of the box, the picture was amazing! Some fine tuning made it a little better, but Mitsubishi hit a HOME RUN with this DLP. It has the 120Hz processing, plush 1080p, etc.
I watched SD & HD channels on Cox Cable, even the SD channels looked great......HD was superb.......but once I hooked up the Panasonic 60k Blu-Ray player.........the TV was absolutely stunning! Best picture I have seen in this price range........or up to $2,500.
This Mitsubishi 1080p DLP is a STEAL. I bought the TV, Blu-Ray player and a TV stand for under $1,500. Unreal.......I am soooo happy!! Get one for yourself.......you will be happy!!

We were considering replacing our older Panasonic CRT 47" 1080i rear projection TV, but it was working fine......until Friday night!! The TV kicked the bucket, so we went out looking & read some reviews here on Amazon for various DLP's, Plasmas & LCD's. I wanted something larger than 55" and in 1080p. After looking at several TVs (plasma & LCDs) we kept going back to this Mitsubishi WD-60737....it just had an amazing picture! As luck would have it, a local retailer had it on SALE for $995.00!! WOW! We bought the Mitsubishi DLP, a Panasonic Blu-Ray player and TV stand all for under $1,500.00!!
Once we got it home and out of the box, we played SD cable channels (these actually looked better than expected, we were impressed that the stations did NOT look grainy) and HD cable channels (absolutely stunning.....HD Nascar & HD baseball was breath-taking). Once we had the Panasonic Blu-Ray player up and running, we watched various DVDs that we rented from the movie store. wow, WOW. We couldn't

This is our 4th HDTV since 2001. We sold the first one (a Mits CRT RPTV) before making a cross-country move in 2004, the second is a first gen 2004 Mits 720p DLP still in service with us, the third is a 42" Sony LCD 720p from 2005/6 that recently went to a niece as a college grad present, and now this Mits 6th gen 1080p DLP (replacing the Sony).

Wow, how much better and more reasonably priced HDTVs have gotten since 2001! Really, rejoice over that fact. Even comparing this new WD-60737 to our 62" 2004 Mits WD-62725 is quite the eye opener in how far things have come, while getting a lot cheaper on the way.

The picture on this new Mits is much brighter (and, yes, we've had the mirrors on the old one cleaned and the bulb replaced) and with much better contrast.

1080p vs 720p, of course. Also a much more refined and mature bag of processing techniques (Smooth120hz, Deep Field Imager, etc) to improve the picture. SD pictures, particularly SD digital, definitely look nicer to me on this

I've had this TV for about a month now and it is very nice. The HD channels are terrific. The TV is super light, especially for the size of it. I was a Vizio guy (getting the most out of my dollar) but I have to say Mitsubushi DLP technology has me considering putting my Vizios on EBAY. There are two things to consider:
1) The sound is not that of excellent quality however i tried my HD sound receiver and it works great.
2) There are slight delays when turning on the TV, changing the channel and volume controls (nothing too drastic about 2 second delays)whenever you havent used those controls for a while (sort of like the TV goes into a stand-by mode). Dont know if that common with DLPs.

It did pretty well although there were some issues with video processing and resolution clarity to maximum HD output. But it compensates all the minor weak spots by delivering excellent color, contrast and fine black details.
