So far so good. I did an extensive review prior to buying. There were some other reviews that questioned print quality. I am happy with the quality (although I am not a picture printer person). There are 5 print refill cartridges - I'll see what the printer ink cost is the first time I go to replace one of them.

I bought this printer in the spring of 2009 and have really enjoyed having it. It was very easy to set up and I've had no problems printing anything. I really enjoy having the wireless capability because I use a laptop and like to move it around the house. I said it can start printing a little slow but that isn't a big deal to me. It might be an issue to a few people so I'm putting that in the review. I got this printer on sale but even paying the full price would have been worth it. Very good printer! Would definitely recommend at least looking at it and possibly buying it!

It is so nice to be able to have one central printer in the house that we all can use. There are 6 different computers in our house and no-one ever seemed to have a working printer. We already had the wireless network so this fit right in and now we don't have to move printers around or worry about cords. We love it!

My wife and I got this printer as part of a special when buying a mac laptop so we only paid $50 for it. We did a lot of research looking for a wireless printer and were hoping for duplex printing to save paper. Unfortunately this printer does not have double-sided printing but it got great reviews so we went for it. It has lived up to its great reviews but has jammed a couple of times. We haven't had it long enough to change the cartridges so hopefully that won't be too expensive (the cartridges aren't like normal ones--it has 4 different colors plus a black). We absolutely love the wireless printing and scanning--we keep it in the corner out of the way of the jumble of cords near our desk. Seems to print plenty fast and we got it hooked up right away both to my pc desktop and her mac laptop. Would be a 5 for us except for no auto duplex printing--this is far too advanced of a printer to not offer it

It took awhile to set up the printer which was fine. Once you followed the instructions to setup, I was frilled to finally have a working all-in-one printer. I had two "Handsome Pies" but they didn't work. I would have kept the machines if they worked. I tried to be loyal. Finally, Canon works. I got it at 150 which was ok and it came with usb cable. If you buy usb cable seperately, it may cost 20-25 dollars. I wished it's smaller size but it worked. I might just have to move my other stuff around. It takes time to warm up for printing and copying. Scan great to computer in PDF! It's a keeper. I am a student and need it for school and home office. It a bit heavy to carry it around. It's alright to come home and dump (hopefully it lasts for couple years).I never thought of buying an all-in-one machine could have been this difficult and time consuming. I am not a computer technical savvy person, it's a great buy and easy set up.

Solid nice looking unit that is nice and quiet. All the functions work well.
Hooks up easily by 802.11 wireless to my mac os x 10.6 snow leopard computer.
Can't beat the price for a quility printer, scanner, copier.
If you can find one and you need a new printer, it'a a great machine."

this printer is very functional and print copies fast, color and quality are wonderful, only complaint is it takes too long to warm-up to print and if you want to set it up for several computers to print wirelessly, it is time consuming

Bought this on sale at Best Buy for ($96.00).
Solid nice looking unit that is nice and quiet. All the functions work well.
Hooks up easily by USB but a real bear to connect wireless to Verizon Fios and HP computer.
After several tries, called a computer savvy friend who had a mem. stick with a program to detect the printer. After he placed the mem. stick in the USB port, he was able to connect two computers (one laptop as well)
wireless. The manual leaves much to be desired when connecting up for a wireless connection.
Now that it is connected, it is great.
Can't beat the price for a quility printer, scanner, copier.
If you can find one and you need a new printer, it'a a great machine.

I couldn't install the driver until I used it as wireless printer. This problem is even mentioned in the manual (without any solution offered). now that it is installed, it's a great printer. Color copies in no time!

I bought this printer and have been very plzed with it. The price for the printer really made me want it especially it being a canon. I have to give this printer an A really good printer. And very easy to use especially if you have alot of pc's in the house with a wireless network now everybody can print. The ink is really cheap too. So go get this printer!

I love the printer but the ink cartridges don't seem to last as long compared to other printers that I have used (HP). The cartridges are expensive and not readily available...online at Canon eStore or, if in stock, Best Buys.

Some reviews say this is noisy. I don't know where they're coming from, but I totally disagree. It's very quiet, much quieter than my old HP6 and prints better too. I've had mine almost two weeks and couldn't be happier. I love the wireless function and I was a little nervous to attempt the setup as I'm not a computer geek. But it went very smoothly and worked on the first try.

I bought this printer because the Lexmark that I had would not work with my laptops. It was at least 7 years old. I got this one for the great price and the features. It was easy to set up and it prints great photos. Have not tried the wireless feature yet, still working on it. I LOVE this printer, easy to use and you can print without a computer.

After going through two other printers in a matter of weeks, this is the final winner. The Canon is super quiet, super efficient (even does double-sided printing, although this requires a little extra work for the user), was super easy to set up, and the print quality is favorable. The ink is a little different than what I'm used to - there are 4 or 5 different cartridges, which could be a good or bad thing, depending on how you look at it - on the plus side, you only have to replace whichever one runs out instead of throwing out an entire color cartridge just because the yellow ran out. On the other hand, it has the potential to get pricey.

Previous printers attempted: Kodak ESP7, which was horrible (and I wrote a review for it), and the HP C4795, which ended up being bad, too (also wrote a review). In my review of the HP, I said I'd only had it for a short time, but so far so good - tried to go back and edit that review and there's no way to do that. Couldn't write a new review,

The Canon MP620 purrs. I am very happy with this new printer. It prints and scans well. It was very easy to install. No need to call a tech for anything thus far. It is really quiet too. I purchased it about a month ago. Great size. No complaints.
Everything was frustrating about the Kodak ESP5 that I had before the Canon.
Its like night and day.

I was quite hesitant to buy this thinking it can't be very good for this price. I have been pleasantly surprised though.
Very easy to set up although the pictures in the instructions are a little confusing. Solid construction, terrific color and great wireless features make this the best wireless printer I've seen on the market!

I am very happy with this printer and am very glad that I chose this one. I never thought of Canon as making good printers, but they seemed to be highly rated, so I thought I'd give it a try. Scan quality is quite good, and the quality of printed photos is also quite good. It was very easy to set up and unbelievably easy to set up the wireless feature, especially with multiple computers. The only down side is that it can seem a little slow to start printing sometimes. It takes an extra few minutes to "prepare" and THEN starts printing. It doesn't do that with every print job, so it's not so bad. I preferred my old Lexmark's software for scanning and editing photo's, but this is usable. I also like that I can completely fold it closed so that things can't fall in. That makes moving and having toddlers easier.

This printer makes great photos and is very easy to use. Automaticaly selects paper type when switching between paper doc size and photos. After owning an Epson which we fought for 4 years what a pleasant surprise

I travel often and take lots of pictures so primarily wanted a printer that would produce good color prints. The set up was easy. The software for printing photos was easier to use than other printers I have had. The quality of the printed photos is very good.

I got this printer/scanner because I already had a fax machine in my home office. Found this on sale, and got home and had it up and running in about 15-20 mins. Easy setup if you follow the quick start guide and on screen instructions. Also, the color display is pretty easy to navigate. Overall, I am very pleased with what I got for the money spent.

After fighting for months with my expensive all in one HP wireless printer, which kept disappearing over my network and wasn't compatible with Vista, I purchased this Canon printer. It works well wirelessly despite being quite a distance from my router. SUPER easy to setup on my wireless network. My XP and Vista laptops work perfectly, couldn't be happier. From all the printer reviews I've read and due to the problems I've had, its quite obvious that HP no longer produces a good, reliable printer. For $109 I highly recommend this product.

The wireless setup was easy and the pictures print better then I expected. The photocopy feature works well too. I think my wife has printed a bit more than 60 pictures, and the ink levels are still at about 60% full. Occassionally the regular paper tray will not catch the next piece of paper, even though their is plenty of paper in the tray. Although slightly annoying, I am not a heavy user of the printer so the picture printing is more of the focus.

Was fortunate to catch this on sale which I bought a month ago replacing my Epson Photo R320 which quit on me after 3 years and a Canon scanner. Had no problems setting up going wireless to a Linksys router. Also very quiet when scanning and printing. Was just a little slower than the R320 when it came to printing photos while at the same time uses a lot of ink.

I was using an HP Photosmart C5180 and the footprint was about the same as this one but with a smaller screen for viewing the menu and photos. In under an hour I had installed this wirelessly to my desktop running XP and my laptop running Vista Home Premium. Simply slip in the CD and follow the directions along with the setup guide included and you can't go wrong. Printer head alignment took the longest of anything, but when done the print quality was superb. It does take the printer a few minutes to find the network, but then printing is fast enough, but without the shake and loud noises I experienced with the HP printer.
Suggestion. Install this to the computer you will be using most often then simply go to Canon's website and download the drivers to any additional computers you will use. I installed it on my Desktop XP computer, then went to Canon's website and downloaded the drivers to my Vista laptop. Once done, I was up and running as Vista installed it as the default printer.

I really love this printer... I didn't have any problems with setting up it up. I love how I can print pics without even touching the pc.. just insert my memory card in the printer and select my pics and how many! And the pics look great! The only thing that I wonder about is the ink cartridges... they are really small and I don't think they can hold that much ink, but I haven't had it long enough to know for sure. A complete ink refill set runs about $66 so thats not too bad. Also since the colors are all seperate it shouldn't be too expensive as some other printers are. I plan to only use it for pics and what little printing I do.... so far its been better than I expected!

This is a great printer. Once you set it up, you can stick it in the closet and operate wirelessly. It is a great deal, and probably the best multi-function printer/scanner for under $150.00 (as of 4/09/09).

One thing to note is that there are two like models, model MP620 and MP?620B. Save yourself $50.00 and get an MP620B. I don't think there is anything different between these two printers.

Setup is somewhat hard to follow in the manual. Luckily I have expertise with wireless networking and network printer setup. I could see a person that is not computer savvy potentially having difficulty with the setup. I had the printer completely wireless and installed on 2 PC's and a laptop in 20 to 30 minutes. That includes the complete print head alignment.

That said, I ended up taking this printer back to the store. Don't get me wrong, I love this printer!!! However, the Best Buy in my area had a new shipment of the new Canon MX860. Upgrading to the MX860 gives you a

This is a nice, user-friendly printer/scanner that's also compact. Although our photos have been excellent, I've read some other reviews that were not favorable. Remember to follow the directions in the manual to properly allign the printer heads beforehand.

we got a large black and white brother printer for big loads but bought this for color prints for kids homework and wife was paying snapfish $60.00 a month for photos witch is a great deal if you don't figure in shipping was half the price. this printer makes the best photos if you buy good paper well werth every penny for the photos. I DO NOT KNOW IF IT IS GOOD FOR ONLY PRINTER IN HOUSE.my brother prints 5000 sheet a month and is able to print 20,000 a month.

After only one day of use I am enthusiastic and encouraged that things really can work as advertised. For me, the big thing was Mac OS X Airport Extreme compatibility. Set up worked precisely as stated in the fold-out documentation. Don't over think it; just follow the steps. The first print test provided a full page of text from click OK to paper tray in under 10 seconds, wireless. It has very clear text output. The first copy test provided a standard quality B&W full page in about 5 seconds. Color copies in best quality takes much longer but output is excellent. The control panel is easy to understand and navigate. I'm looking forward to photo printing next although the wireless B&W output alone is worth the $152 I paid on sale. I use this printer from an Intel iMac and MacBook Pro.

I'm very happy with this product. Canon thought out the little things to make it more convenient like lights on the ink when they're snapped in, easy instructions, and including a usb cable. It's a little slow, but I prefer print quality over speed any day.

This printer is great! I have always owned HP printers and just recently bought a new HP PC and then my old HP printer died. I always like to keep HP products with the HP computer assuming they would work better together, but I've never had much luck with HP printers. I decided on this canon because of the $109 price, the reviews as well as the inexpensive printer cart. $14 vs. $39 for the HP. This printer set-up within 10 minutes on Vista Premium and have never had an issue yet. excellent documents and phot's that I have already had compliments on the quality of pictures. Yes, the printer is large, but make room for it and enjoy the great feactures this Canon printer has. I also like how the paper tray is hidden on the bottom. Keeps the kids away from taking all my paper since they don't know where it is. BUY THIS PRINTER!

After reading the great reviews this printer got, I went and got one while it was still on sale. My husband usually does all the setting up of the electronics, but he was busy with another project and I was so excited that I decided to try to set it up myself. It was so EASY to set up! I didn't encounter one problem - the directions are clearly and concisely written and easy to follow. Most of the other printers in this price range (the sale price range anyway) didn't get very good reviews and I am so thankful to all the people who reviewed before me, because this was the best purchase!

This printer prints FAST! And it prints great quality. I am a photographer, so I am pretty picky about my pictures and I was really impressed with the quality of the 4x6 photos I printed from it! They really look great. I can't say it is the same quality as my professional lab, but I would not hesitate to print photos from this printer for myself for albums and family and what not. Just got this for 100 bucks. Hands down just awesome price for a new printer that is wireless and comes with ink that is full and not half full like others. A bit slow to start printing at first but 100 bucks and wireless and full ink makes me forget all about that.

But be warned. If you have Windows XP this will be a walk in the park to install and setup to run on wireless if you have Vista or 64 bit Vista make sure to go to the Canon Webiste and download the new driver the one that says "1.02 driver for network". If you have XP you will be able to use alot of features but they haven't updated some minor stuff for vista yet I guess because Windows 7 is almost out.

Overall bang for your buck but make sure you do what I said if you have vista.

Got this printer for all of my families computers-(3 Laptops and 3 Desktops) It is an amazing machine for around $100 on sale. It prints documents with crisp text and really great photos with stunning detail. The speed of the photo printing was a little slow, but the quality more than makes up for lack of speed. The control panel on the top of the printer makes it easy edit and customize your printing needs. Plus you can assign which scan(file) goes to what computer. The actual setup was a bit lengthy, but the instructions were well written and easy to understand.(I did have 6 pc's to configure) If Canon wanted to really make a marvelous machine, they might have considered adding a fax machine. All things considered, this is a great multifunction choice, especially for those of you with more than 1 computer. The wireless connectivity is very convenient for those with laptops...no wires hanging off your laptop, and printing wherever you might be in your house. Bottom line...Even at $200 this

Wanted a wireless printer and purchased a HP on sale. It would not make copies so I brought it back. 2 weeks later MP620B went on sale. I found it easy to set up wireless connection using the instructions. I like the blue color and how the unit looks closed up. The way the front pops open to print is great, many times on my Canon 4000 I forgot to open the front. Lighted ink ports are a nice touch too.

I myself set this up ...it was simple. I use mostly for making copies, and printing items for school. I am a 42 YO , not a young adult. I have had many printers etc. This has been the best so far! even over the 500.00+ ones...
best of all good prints and papers with a fair price to boot!

Had a Kodak printer that went to the graveyard. Had had Canon in the past and liked it so thought we'd try them again. Canon has improved tons since then, they have FIXED the print head adjustment (you can self adjust the head now) so you have super clear printing quality.
Wow! what a super printer! Set up is easy (USB) was up and printing in no time.
Recommend this printer to all !!

I was replacing an HP which would not pull 8x10 photo paper. Always jammed. The Canon feeds photo paper from the back and it is great. No jam problem at all. The scanner worked fine also. Was very easy to use. However I discovered I could not get it to print borderless prints using any 5 of my photo programs- photo explosion, 2 scrapbook programs, HP photo premier and print artist. Everything was marked for borderless, but no luck. Tech tried to help, but finally told me that the programs and the printer were not communicating. I tried the canon program and it printed them beautifully, but there isn't a large selection on size of paper. However I will use it for photo's. For black invoices and documents it is extremely slow. You will wait forever for a 10 page document. I have hooked up my old HP to use only for documents and will use the canon for all my photo's. I would recommend it because it is a good price for a nice photo printer. I am hoping with these new ink tanks that the color

Wanted an 'all-in-one' printer..... was going to buy the pixma 620 because it was on sale for 99.00, however, the store was out of them.....went with the pixma 620b (special blue edition) for 50.00 more..... it was well worth the money for the added options/features. Completely satisfied at this point. Would recommend.
