I bought this for my Mom's bedroom and have had it for about a week - so far the set looks good. I substituted an easy-to-use remote (Sony RM-EZ4). The picture quality (from Directv coax connection) is good, but not great. Better inputs like DVD via HDMI look great. Only gripe is the this set is supposed to have auto aspect ratio detection, where the image is automatically resized to accomodate 4:3, 16:9, and other ratios. I have a 32" Magnavox that does this quite well. The Insignia auto mode does not work at all. Most people adjust this manually anyway... A Geek Squad guy came out to look at the auto feature, and pretty much said "you get what you pay for..." I agree with that assessment.

Bought this tv for my bedroom to replace old 19" tube tv. I love this tv. it was easy to set up, the picture is wonderful, the sound quality is more than acceptable, the remote Is great and the tv has more than enough input/output options. If you want an exceptional bedroom tv for a great price, this tv fits the bill.

Bought a "32" Insignia for the guest bedroom but it ended up in the master bedroom. It was the right size and price too. So far, from the set up to programming channels, video and audio which were just a breeze and so easy... the television has amazingly exceeded my expectation.

I I checked out several TV's before deciding on this one, visited our local Best Buy and talked to a salesman, I chose this one because the picture, features, warranty & price was good. Can't beat the two year in house warranty. We have had the TV for three weeks now and love the picture (after tweaking a bit) Sound is good. I had one major problem (for Me), I wanted to disable the side controls (GrandChildren) I could not get to the Parental controls, they were grayed out on the menu. I e-mailed Insignis CS, they said IF your connected to a cable or Sat box the PC will be unavailable, they also told me that you can not disable the side controls on this model. (pg 27 in user guide) I have Dish with a DVR input from HDMI... I pushed "input" on the TV remote, changed the input to ANT, went back to the settings menu and now I can access Parental controls, Guess what I did what they said couldn't be done, I disabled the side controls,,then changed the input back to HDMI, Now I am 100% happy
