I really love this TV-- and what I loved most was that Amazon simply arranged delivery and set up at no extra charge. The picture is clear and the resolution amazing. The sound is excellent and I like the fact that I can turn the whose thing slightly to get the best possible angle with just the touch of a finger. I'd recommend it highly.

Bought this tv oct.23 and hate it the picture is blurry,any fast motion and it gets even more blurrier.The screen is shinny therefore you get a glare if you have any lights on or window shade open.Not to mention u can see ur reflection on the screen while ur watching tv.Angles to view from are limited to right in front of it.Save ur time and buy a Sharp TV at least with a Sharp u can view from many angles...And it comes in clear in SD and in HD.I will never buy another Samsung ever again.Don't buy this TV if u have a choice!!

I recently bought this tv to replace my old 19 inch RCA tv. Keep in mind, the RCA still works great to this day, but I thought it was about time to upgrade. Putting it Together: This is the main problem I experienced with this tv. It came with 8 identical screws. The 4 that go into the tv went in fine, but the 4 that go into the stand did not fit. I used all my effort to turn them, but they would not go in. Either the screws were too big, or the holes in the stand were too small. I emailed Samsung customer support and they told me to buy new screws online. I was not pleased with this response. When you spend $500 plus on a name brand tv, you expect it to come with parts that actually fit together. I emailed them again and didn't get a response. Finally I decided to go to the local hardware store. I got some screws which were a little smaller and they fit perfectly. So overall, this is something to keep in mind about this model. After comparing to the 32 inch samsung from the 3 series below and to comparable lg 32 inch sets I made my decision and went with this. I couldn't be happier. If you're looking around and this is in your options, don't waste your time spend a little extra for a tv you know you'll be happy with.

For the price this is a nice tv. I have a 1080p Samsung and there is a difference in picture quality compared to this 720p. The colors are brighter and crisper in the 1080p, but the picture is ok in 720p.The only problem is you must look at picture straight on, because from side angle you see a picture but it has very little color. This tv is made for a small bedroom, because factory sound is not to loud

I did all the homework for 32" tv's in the $400-$700 price range and I narrowed my top choices based on specs and reviews to the this Samsung and an LG. Once I went to the store, my choice was simple. The Samsung wins hands down.

My 32 inch Samsung LCD was great for five months then died a spectacular death. While watching it one day, a huge spark arced out of the top of the TV, and it was absolutely dead. That was the start of my trouble as warranty service was horrendous. I made nearly two dozen phone calls to Samsung, their warranty service contractor and the various technicians. Scheduled service visits would result in no one showing up. It took nearly a month and a half to get replacement parts installed. I'll never buy a Samsung product again.

please read about problems with the power coming on. I wish I would have. This tv took 2 weeks to get repaired. Thank goodness i got the blacktie warranty from Best Buy otherwise i would be waiting another 2 weeks for my tv to be taken care of by Samsung. I recently began reading reviews and this is a common problem with their tvs. Apparently they bulid junk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been searching for a second, smaller TV for quite some time now. I looked around and decided on this TV yesterday. I already own the 1080p 40" and this is just as nice. Everything about these Samsung's are great. You will not be disappointed!

OK, I first purchased the Sam sung B360 32'' LCD. Which by the way was a good LCD, I had to upgrade.
What can I say, I am extremely happy with my purchase. They say. "you get what you paid for". Well with this LCD you are getting extra. I like the extra adjustments you can make to the settings. Pop in Monsters Inc to do the fast THX calibration wizard, Makes a world of a difference why pay someone else, $300-$1000 to do it for you when you can do it yourself. Make sure to order some THX blue glasses to get the color right. The sound is better than I expected for an LCD. Oh yeah my wife loves the TV. So go ahead and by name brand for a little more cash. It is worth the money.

This tv is actually Cheaper in the stores and its really good for playing my games, watching movies etc.. this tv was a good one and worth buying then the older series so buy this one. sound is great it can go loud if you want it to. Its slick clear blk and red design is good looking. This tv makes it look good and modern and the base for the bottom of the tv . nto much to say but i bought the rocketfish Hdmi cable which will make things much more better and there really isnt a difference from having great resolution you wont see a difference and everything look rich in color etc.. it worth buying this tv and samsung tvs. Go buy one

We've had this TV for 3 weeks, and it is great. We opted for the 720p based on the fact that we do not have or plan on getting a Blu-ray player and our cable TV is not broadcast in 1080p. We read reviews that the sound is iffy - this has not been a problem on ours. It sounds great, and the base is solid. The buttons are touch buttons on the front of the TV, and they are cool. This TV has easily accessible RCA cable input jacks on the side, and many more on the back. During the autoscan, it picked up many channels we didn't even know we could get. 16x12 living room - 32" is more than adequate. This TV looks great. You do not need 1080p for a basic TV viewing experience.

I can not tell you all the technical details and why this Televsion has such a great picture, I can just tell you that it does! I have never been a big tv watcher, but ever since my husband had this Samsung installed in our family room. I can't stop watching it. The picture is simply brilliant! Now i am ruined though as I will never be able to watch regular TV again!

LISTEN UP: This TV is the real deal, and if you catch it on sale for less than $500, it cant be beat. Whoops up on all the other brands on sale for $449 or less, those TVs are $499-$549 regular price, this one is $649, and the difference shows, the design of it is much more heavy duty as well as FAR more stylish, the base looks like its glass all clear looks awesome. Ads a nice effect of looking like the panel itself is floating in free space. Not to mention you are getting 3 HDMI inputs instead of 2, and contrast that blows everyone else out of the water. This is definitely the best 720P 32" LCD out there, hands down(and honestly at 32", you are just wasting money for 1080P/120Hz+ blah blah blah). Even the samsung 32" 360 is dang nice, but this one is a major step up. I originally bought a panasonic 32" 720, and while the still picture was really nice the motion was not smooth at all. THEN I tried the LG 32" 720, picture was worse, motion blury. I was not going to stop until satisfied,

1) I purchased this tv in June 2009. After 4 weeks the tv would not turn on. By that I mean the red light power indicator was on, but pressing the "on" button did nothing.
2) The Samsung warranty allowed me to send the tv in to an authorized repair center in Riverdale NJ. Finding a box that will fit a flat panel tv is a huge challenge in NYC. Consequently, I did the 45 min drive and physically dropped it off.
3) Repairs take 5 business days, followed by 2 business days of additional testing. The repair was deemed to be complete, and the tv was shipped back to me.
4) Upon plugging the tv in, the tv has the same issue, it will not turn on. Unfortunately, Samsung's warranty only covers repairs repeatedly until the unit is deemed unrepairable. So now I am getting ready to send the unit into the repair center that failed to repair the tv the 1st time. I have followed up with both Samsung and CVE (repair center) and hope to have a meaningful explanation for what repairs

Television is great. picture is stunning, but sound is very poor. I was disappointed but tv sound isn't the greatest. Samsung should do something to impove the sound. I have the Series 4 tv it is remarkable. When connect a HDMI cable the 720 goes to 1930. It will blow you away. If you need a 32 buy this one. It's red it t's cool, it's a Samsung!

If you're buying a 32" or smaller TV, a 1080 resolution won't make much difference to you, so spending the money at this time for that extra res isn't always worth it. I purchased this and got an upscaling DVD player they had for a promotion, and got a discount on the TV AND the DVD player. The TV works great with my Macbook for showing iTunes movies and TV shows, and the clarity of the picture is amazing. My old DVDs look great upscaled and when I upgrade to blu-ray, the TV will be fine. Overall, a great deal! I also bought mine via the website and picked it up at the store and the process was flawless.

The colors in HD were amazing. The speakers were awesome. Picture in standard definition was good. EXCEPT...there was a nice scratch in my screen and I noticed on the top of my TV's screen in HD the first row of pixels were almost blurring the top of the picture, and in standard definition the top row of pixels was white and was "jumping" and going in and out.
I was very disappointed. I returned the TV, and the Geek Squad saw that it was indeed defective, and warranted me to receive a new one. Besides those two defects, this TV is amazing. Well worth that $480 price tag. I am very happy with my purchase.

I did a lot of shopping around for the set that I needed and could afford, money and space included. I am not disappointed with this choice. The picture is clear as a bell and the sound is very good. Had a little start when I turned it on the first time and nothing happened. Turns out, it takes a few seconds to 'boot up' and there is no familiar click when the power supply is activated. LCD is a new technology for me and I'm still getting used to it. The newer broadcasts are breathtaking, but movies and shows shot a long time ago are worse than the 26" analog TV I replaced. And, I like to watch old shows a lot. Also, pictures that contain fog, smoke, dust or fast action scenes have a tendency to pixallate. This is probably the biggest disappointment I have in the set. I'm not too sure if this is inherent to LCDs in general or this set. It might be that a set using a 24fps format would not have that problem. The controls on the set are terrific. This is my third Samsung flat screen TV. Also have a 61" projection and 19" LCD. Samsung's picture quality is superb, don't worry that it's not a 1080P unless you're going to use it as a computer monitor. The base is well weighted and swivels. The sound quality is average, would recommmend hooking up to a home stereo.

No complaints so far. The picture is outstanding. Very bright, with great colors. I had a Vizio before and didn't know what I was missing until I replaced it with this TV. Very happy we purchaesd and got a great deal. NOTE: it is only 720P, but I haven't noticed any difference.

This 32" Samsung has a strong presentation in vivid colors and true blacks. It replaces a 32" 720p Westinghouse and while it has served well the side by side comparison of the two prove to be little challenge for the elegant touch of color. I always manage to be demoing theses things on Sunday and the sport of golf is always a good barometer to test the color rendering of a TV. Realistic green grass, accurate flesh tones and beautiful deep blue skies, a great example of color spread with no bleed over. I used the Dark Knight to test the blacks and the TV did a good job of presenting the different depths of black and where you might find a Sony blending the blacks together you can see separation of images giving depth to scenes in a very dark movie. The one complaint might be that this TV isn't 1080p but I have to tell you the difference between 720p and 1080p at the 32" size is not going to be that noticeable. Well this is my first time buying a tv for myself. I've had small 19" tubes all my life and now i finally ventured into the HD world I've been wanting a 32" lcd for about 2 years now. I'm glad i waited because i got an excellent tv for $480 instead of $700-800 (what they were years ago). The reddish tint the panel and base makes it look like a $1,000 TV. The 720p resolution makes a great picture with my xbox360. It also looks good with my standard 480i digital cable. I was also suprised that the tv picked up both analog and digital channels.
I'm very satisfied with my purchase and hope that this will last me as long as my tube has.

I read way too many reviews and settled on this one and it is all it is cracked up to be. A great picture. Keep in mind, as well, that if you are only sitting 4-5' from the TV you only need 32", despite everyone's tendency to get 42". I strongly recommend checking out [...] guide to buying TVs. Very big point: 1080p is only worth it for BIG (i.e. over 50") TVs. Plus DVDs, which have a very good resolution already, are only 420p. Highly recommend this TV as a great value.

Apparently, I'm the only person on earth who cares, but I specifically was looking for a 32" LCD with a standard 1/8" mini-jack headphone out connection. I like to listen to my TV with regular earbuds (the same ones that are used for MP3 players, etc.) Very few models, it turns out, have this feature any more, at least at the 32" size. There were none at Costco, Walmart, or Target, albeit 5 models at Best Buy. This is evidently the best one of those 5 that DOES have such a connector. BTW, this particular model sells for [....] at Best Buy.

I recently purchased this Samsung after returning the LG 32LF11 1080p LCD. While the LG's HD picture was beautiful, I really couldn't get past the horrid SD resolution and lip sync issues on the HD channels. This was apparent in both the HDMI and component connections. The Samsung doesn't seem to suffer from lip sync error and the SD quality is far superior to the LG's. Don't get hyped into the need for 1080p if you're purchasing a 32". You won't notice any difference in picture quality at this size. The sound is pretty decent on this LCD as well. Obviously you won't be experiencing THX, but want do you want from built in speakers on a 32" screen ;) Honestly, the SRS TruSurround feature will help. My only beef is with the off angle viewing. The picture gets pretty light, but its really not a problem if you're viewing from a reasonable distance. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. Love the red tint as well.

It's over saturates color and the contrast is to high which makes the image look surreal. We like the standard setting with the contrast set to 45 and color at about 45. Black on this set is black unlike some other sets we viewed. The colors appears to be well balanced and the flesh tones are life like. It up scales standard def signals well off the cable but has some problems with over the air when there are strong multi path signals. If I was getting TV over the air I would get a directional antenna and put it up and in the clear. I had an unsolicited opinion from the Verizon tech while he was setting up the Fios TV. He said "are you sure it's 720p, that picture looks great!"

I bought this T.V. nine days ago. Overall the T.V. produces a great HD picture when viewed from directly in front of the set. However, it really appears washed out when viewing from an angle. The non HD channels are O.K. but much different than HD.
I have had trouble with the clock losing its setting which causes the timer not to work thereby not waking me up in the morning as expected. This may be due to incoming power to my home but my digital alarm clock does not seem to be impacted so it may be a flaw in the T.V.. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
At 499 I would recommend this T.V. if you do not need a wide viewing angle.

Just bought a new TV. Pretty excited about the whole thing did some research talked to some friends and settled on this model. I took the TV home set it up turned it on only to have it turn off after flashing the picture at me three times. Called samsung told me i needed to have it serviced. All this happened inside an hour of purchase. What a pile of garbage. Please think twice before buying this brand.

THe 32" Samsung flatscreen HD TV I recently purchased is awesome. The clarity of the picure and color definition are top notch. The delivery was fast and faultless. This is the second television I have purchased from Amazon and it won't be the last. You cannot go wrong with this Samsung set- enjoy!

we just bought this tv which is our second samsung lcd ,this tv is excellent for our bedroom for the price.It has an excellent picture 50000:1 contrast ratio which is great for that price. the sound is supurb for movie watchers. do not be discourged about its 720 pixels trust me you can not tell the difference becuase of the contrast to ratio.now if you want to watch blu ray and play video games to get the higest quality picture then i would recommend the 1080p set, but cable dont broadcast in 1080p so this tv is perfect for the bedroom put your 1080p tv in the livingroom thats what we did. samsung has done it again with there touch of colors.

The set is excellent when it was working but warranty service is pathetic. 3 months old and it started to have a totally white screen upon start up. Filed a warranty claim online, pickup was prompt by a repair vendor that Samsung directed me to. That was 5 weeks ago with no end in sight. The authorized repair vendor keeps saying they are waiting for parts, every time it's different and every time the part is special order from Samsung. Samsung 800# is useless, the escalation line has been down for a week, all you get is no help and a hang up. At this point, I really don't think I'll ever see the set again. Total frustration. Beware!

Samsung 32" Class / 720p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV does not feature a 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio as stated above in the overview; but better yet a 50,000:1 ratio. Read the Specs and the box the T.V. comes in. Beautiful red color to the clear- lucite stand it sits on. Great price for the quality features that it has and very important it sounds great! Not like the other T.V.s I listened to-Sony was good too but pricey. We use our Samsung in the bedroom, else I would have gotten an even larger T.V. I am going to buy a monster surge protector for it and I would have then if someone would have brought it up. I bought the warranty but I had to ask about it upon checking out-I had help but yet no one told me about the availablity of the extended warranty or the Rewards Zone card.

I bought this tv this past weekend. I like everything about it except for one big thing. When I view the tv from an angle, the colors seem to wash out more than most tv's. This is especially noticeable when watching people on screen. Their skin tone gets very pale if you are not watching from a fairly direct angle.
I am still debating on taking it back and replacing with another brand.

Bought this TV expressly because it was a name brand, stupidly thinking I would have less problems with it. Less than a year after I purchased it, it no longer works. The TV will not even turn on. Samsung, has no solution and won't even contact me for three days to schedule a time to come and look at it.
This was a complete waste of money! Do yourself a favor and buy a cheaper one that way when it suddenly dies at least you can justify getting another one!

i used to work at a electronics store and samsung was always the best product for the money picture and features. i have a 10 yr old 19" tube set that took a drop of about 10' straight into a concrete floor with enough force to crack the top of the cabinet and that was in the box with the protective padding. like i said 10 yrs later its still working fine and has a nice picture btw i got it for 50.00).
now i have to learn all about hmdi and hooking up the pc to it. cant wait to have internet access with surround sound on a 32 " monitor. i got it for a steal 488.00. i hope im not like that other guy that got the 1 in a million dud that only lasted a yr but i feel confident ill get 5 or more.

I was looking for a nice HD TV and I found it with this Samsung 32". This is my first HDTV and I am very happy with it. The picture looks sharp and clear and it was easy to set up. I would have liked to gone with a bigger TV, but couldn't afford it. The 32" is nice size and sports look great on this set. Can't wait for football!! I would recommend this Samsung TV to anyone looking for a nice HDTV at a reasonable price.

HD is really nice on this television. The build-in turner picked up more over-the-air stations than an older television with a covnerter box. Great value for the price.

TV arrived delivered from CEVA in perfect condition. However, when I plugged it in, there's a high pitched buzzing sound. When I unplug, it is not there. Anyone else had this issue? I will be calling Samsung to report and ask for options. I'll review my rating afterwards.
**Update ao 5-29-09: Called Samsung and was told a tech would come for in-home servicing. Called service company to schedule the appt. but was told I would have to mail it in and it could take up to 21 days for servicing and return. I called Amazon Customer Service and they are sending me a new unit and the delivery people will pick up the defective unit and take it back. I am much more satisfied with Amazon's swift resolution than Samsung and their vendor servicing through CVE. Apparently, any sets under 37 inches must be mailed to their facility for servicing. The only concession is that they will extend your warranty by 90 days but on the other hand, you're out of the tv for almost a month! Amazon handled

If your looking for a TV for a bedroom, this is the one you want. The Picture looks great up close and from a distance. The Sound is Crisp and Clear and has a surround sound effect!! It also has a great assortment of inputs/outputs for things such as Gaming Consoles, External Speakers, and BluRay/DVD players. The look of the TV has a very clean and sharp look to it. Very Nice and worth the price!

First, it is important to remember the screen size is 32. I mention this to all of the people that insist on 32 inch 1080p television. Currently, perfect human vision will not be able to distinguish a 1080p image from a 720p image in a screen size smaller than 37 inches (some even say 42 inches, but lets pretend some of us have super human vision). Thus, the 720p picture in no way harms the image quality of this television. The TV has a terrific price (for a Samsung), the best contrast ratio for the money (50,000 to 1, dynamic), and is quite honestly an outstanding small to medium sized room television.
Bad:
Though in no way enough to steer clear from this television, the sound (like all TVs) leaves much to be desired. Likewise, the inputs are limited (3 HDMI, but one is actually a DVI (does not accept sound). Additionally, there are only two components inputs, and one of the HDMI inputs is on the side panel (ok if the TVs total is 4, but not ok if the TVs total is 3).
First, it is important to remember the screen size is 32. I mention this to all of the people that insist on 32 inch 1080p television. Currently, perfect human vision will not be able to distinguish a 1080p image from a 720p image in a screen size smaller than 37 inches (some even say 42 inches, but lets pretend some of us have super human vision). Thus, the 720p picture in no way harms the image quality of this television. This is the first TV we have owned in 35 years! The Samsung is just what we wanted - not too big, but with excellent features. We fumble around alot with the remote and the cable remote - to be expected I guess. We have hooked up our video camera to the TV so as to preview the clips on our camera and that worked just fine.

My TV of 15 years broke. I went to Best Buy after reading reviews and purchased the Samsung. I was very pleased, nice picture and ok sound. If you are looking for a great tv for a value price. I would look at this set

this model is from 2009. fairly new model that got touched up. at $552 it is a pretty good deal for such a high end television. Once you get the tv you will be happy you spent a little more and did not get a vizio. 50:000 contrast ratio is something you won't come across a lot in similar competitors. when you see it in person you can see that the color is VERY vivid and lively.
a bonus if you play video games on the 360 or ps3 (like me) the game mode puts any fear of "hdtv lag" away. as a gamer i've played on new hdtvs where the hdtv affected the controls of the game (i.e. lag). this is often caused by down/up scaling the signal must be put through before getting to the set resolution. most games are designed for 720p.
And to those thinking you can spend a little bit more and get a 1080p... you can barely notice any difference. The screen is only a 32". The difference is slightly noticeable on the bigger size tvs like the 52".

This is a great TV. It provides a crisp crystal clear picture. Very lightweight and easy to hang on a wall hanger. It is very easy to set up and easily moved by a women.
Which is a good thing if you like to rearrange often!! Thank goodness for modern televisons!!! I think that it is a great TV for the price and size. Could not find anything wrong with it.

Just got this TV a week ago. I love it! For $550 and free delivery, this can't be beat. The picture is excellent, and the delivery service was great as well. Love the transparent glass base for it too.

The TV arrived in perfect condition and it doesn't look cheap in any way. While the TV may have looked perfect, as soon as it was plugged in it began exhibiting a strange behavior: the screen would go blank every few seconds. No self-fix was available and the TV must either be repaired (via Samsung Warranty) or returned to Amazon.
Note: Samsung will require you to drop-off or send in smaller-sized TVs such as 32-inchers. They will not send a technician to your home. On the brighter side, everyone at Samsung was fairly helpful and customer service seemed to have their act together.

I have owed a Samsung 46" 1080p for over a year and loved it. I purchased this unit for the bedroom and it works great. I shopped other brands but I kept returning to Samsung for the picture quality, sound, and long list of features.

Yes, I agree with the other reviews so far that the 32-inch Samsung is simply the best TV of its size. Did extensive side-by-side viewings before buying it, and it worked and looked perfect right out of the box.
Speaking of "right out of the box," why doesn't Amazon mention the outstanding delivery service by Pilot Freight? The unit was promised in four days, they called and asked if they could deliver it in three. They had two people bring it in, unpack it and set it up, plug the set into the cable box and plug the DVD player into the set, turn everything on and verify that it all worked. They showed me how to use the control, cleaned up everything and removed all of the packing and clutter. Great job, far better than expected. Both the set and the unexpected white glove delivery service are superb.

Great TV for the bedroom. No need for 1080P when you have the 1080 set-up in your living room for Blu Ray. No need of 1080P if you are just using it for HDTV. Perfect size and stand to sit on our dresser.
This is my 2ed Samsung and am very happy w/ the brand. Bought my first a year early, as I could of bought the best and biggest TV in the house for what we paid almost 3 years ago......No worries just avoid looking at the prices when we through the show room.
FYI....the local best buy did not have the item on sale. Had them look at the internet price and matched they it saved $100.

I've purchased quite a few TVs for family and friends at this size and I've yet to find a TV that rivals this one at the price Best Buy has right now. I purchased at $550 which is $100 off the regular price. The TV is absolutely gorgeous and the picture is incredible right out of the box. It takes a bit to set it up, but if you're looking for a TV for a bedroom or office this is the one. TVs at this size tend to not get great sound quality, and Samsung pulls out all the stops on this TV to make sure that statement isn't true. If you're not looking to spend a few hundred more to get 1080p at this size, and I'm not sure you'd notice the difference, then this TV is unbeatable. If you purchase at the $550 you won't be disappointed. I have the Samsung LNA46a750 and I can't see a drastic difference in the picture. You'll love it!

Great LCD television - noticeable contrast ratio upgrade versus last years A-series 450's. Easy set-up, very light, amazing color reproduction, very clear, sharp, and low glare. Wonderful LCD television for a great price!

This is my second Samsung HDTV and it's outstanding. This model includes a QAM turner which I didn't know much about until I did some research. If you have cable, the QAM tuner allows you to receive an HD signal from the major networks without the need for a special cablebox. I can simply plug in the cable and receive most of my cable channels (but not the digital channels) and the HD signals for CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX and PBS without a box. I was amazed.
