I do own this TV and have been testing it for about a week now.
Pros: Super slick design, the best in the market (along with other LED Samsung models), this TV looks amazing both on and off. The picture quality is amazing too, but not right out of the box in my opinion, you will need to play with the settings to obtain the best picture possible but once you do it will be amazing. I also own a plasma and this ones looks much better, richer tones and color.
The so called “3D” effect is a plus to me, however, it may not work for all type of programming but can take if off as desired, this is basically the motion plus 120 Hz feature, for sports this is it!
Cons: sound quality is not that good, it is too flat, however good enough to watch regular tv programming, my plasma has a much better sound. For movies or concerts you will definitely need a sound system. The corner or side lightning issue does exist, but it is only present on a complete black screen, it

I was searching for a television at my local HH Gregg when I came upon this television. They were playing "Speed Racer" in Blu-Ray and it was the most AMAZING picture I had ever seen! I waited and found it priced well below any brick and mortar or online shop through [...]. I purchased the tv and had it within a week. The contrast is amazing and details are crisp. Picture is beyond belief (especially in HD and Blu-Ray). Have not noticed any problems with the set that I researched before buying it. If you are in the market for a television with great black levels and AWESOME color, then buy this tv. Samsung has truly out performed all other models this time! I paid less for this set when it was on special than the LN model of comparable specifications and I could not be happier with my decision. I also have an XBox 360 attached with an HDMI cable and I do not notice any lag. The gaming system seems to work just as well on this television as any other. Don't listen to the people that tell

I own 3 other Samsung LCD TVs and now this LED is my fourth. I consider myself quite knowledgeable when dealing with HDTVs and for a couple of reasons I felt compelled to write a review about this particular model.
I have to say that compared to my other 3 Samsungs, this LED blows them away in picture quality. I have done side by side comparisons and the difference is obvious. However, I am writing this review mainly to warn you about a couple of things. First, there is a LOT of clouding. Anytime there are darks on the screen, you will see significant clouding. Movement combined with the darks magnifies the problem. Second problem with this tv is that there is significant motion blur. I would say that nearly every 60 seconds I see some motion blur. It's absolutely annoying. Instead of focusing on the movie, I find myself tuned into searching for motion blur.

We are VERY pleased with this TV! The picture is amazing. You will not be disappointed. We recommend a surround sound system, however, since the speaker quality on the television is adequate at best.

Had the TV for a couple months now. I have to say that I am very impressed with the picture. I have it wall mounted with the samsung slim mount which was very easy to install and looks great. The sound isn't too bad but I have a receiver and mirage uni-theater hooked up to it. The reason why i didn't go with the 7 or 8000 series is because I didn't think it was worth the extra money for the internet or 240 refresh rate (which you cant really tell the difference between 120hz). The gloss screen I have to say is some what annoying at times but not to where I regret buying the TV and return it. The edge lit LED does however have light leaks on the corners if you are watching in the dark with darker scenes. I have to say though that the picture in HD and Blu-Ray is one of the best I have seen out there. I have a 40" Sony Bravia Z-5100 in our bedroom with 240hz refresh rate, Before I hooked it up, I thought the picture quality was going to better than the Samsung in our Living room and was I
