Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio
Pros: Big easy to see numbers even without my glasses.
Cons: It's fixed angle but I fixed it with stick on rubber bumpers.
I would recommend it to a friend. It is soo much better than my old clock radio that I've been living with for years. The top buttons are labelled and easy to operate.

Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio
Pros: Large Digital Reading & Radio Reception Clear
After reading the review and was in a need to replace my clock radio, I decided to purchase the Sony Dream Machine FM/AM Clock Radio. It had want I was looking for. Large digital reading. Alarm selection - Buzzer, Radio and to my surprise it also had Melody. The clock has a battery backup. (Most clock radios only have battery back up solely for the clock functions and NOT for operating the radio when there is a power outage) I am really pleased with the radio reception. It is very clear without any static. I was especially looking for a clock radio that wouldn't take up allot of space on my desk. It was very easy to setup. Everything about this clock radio is perfect for my use. Very glad about this purchase.

Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio
Pros: The numbers are big and bright, operation is simple
Cons: So far, nothing, all good
This is a very basic alarm clock/radio, which is why I bought it. I don't need bells and whistles, iPhone this and iPod that, just a clock radio that's got an easy to set alarm and nice big numbers I can see from across the room. The quality of the audio is about average, but good enough for the bedroom, and plenty good to wake up to.

Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio
Pros: Large display and easy to set alarm times
Cons: no faults identified
All of the obvious benefits like large display, automatic time set after power on and DST settings. I needed a new alarm clock with dual alarms for my wife and I. The process to set the alarm times is the easiest I have ever used in an alarm clock. Definitely a winner.

Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio
Pros: Nice big display
Cons: Second alarm is beep only, NOT radio
To me it makes no sense that the second alarm only has options for a "beep - beep - beep" or some strange melody of beeps. Why can't I select the radio for the second alarm?

Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio
Pros: Large numerals; descent radio reception
Cons: Monaural, not stereo sound.
This clock radio is just the right size. The controls are all in the right places and easy to adjust. Just take it out of the box and plug it in. The time is automatically set for you. Then read the instructions with the clock radio in front of you to find the location of the controls and learn what each one does.

Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio
Pros: Easy to set Dual Alarm for longer snoozing!
Cons: It's not free, but worth the price!
I have never liked the 9 minute snooze buttons. This Dual Alarm Clock allows for the alarms to be Wake Me Up and then Remind Me 30 minutes later. I love it. I have the first alarm set to gradually awake me by music. The second alarm is a buzzer. Pretty cool to have that option!

Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio
Pros: We can set the radio as our alarm ringtone
Cons: I didnt find one so far.
This is an excellent product at such a low price. It has two alarms and we can set one of the alarm to radio as ringtone. It has good volume and very big display so that I can see the time from distance also. I would recommend this product.

Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio
Pros: easy to use
Cons: none so far
The radio sound is good, the clock functions and controls better than other brands. I used Emerson it did not function well. I also had a RCA model it never adjusted to daylight savings time like it should. This radio and clock did. I got 2 more as I plan to put them in the guest rooms and one down stairs..

Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio
Pros: Set up. Price. Features
I really like this clock and I enjoy the features of the dual alarm that it has. The fact that you can change the brightness of the display is a plus for me. I've had clocks in the past that had the display so bright I thought at nighttime I thought it was daytime...lol.<br />Overall, I'm very satisfied with this Sony product--as I am with most of the Sony products in my home.

Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio
Pros: Reception better than average
Cons: Will not wake you when there is a power outage.
&quot;Backup battery&quot; only retains in memory the clock settings. If there is a power outage, the display goes blank and the alarms will not operate. If you need a true battery backup system, better buy one with 9V battery or one operated solely by batteries.

Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio
Pros: Looks and battery backup.
Cons: Busy button layout, can't set the 2nd alarm to the radio.
This is a nice looking clock radio with decent features. It has a battery backup (battery included from factory) but it uses a watch style battery instead of a AAA or AA. The display is easy to read. It will light up the room at night even on the lowest brightness setting (all clock radios are like this). The button layout is busy and it is hard to find the location of the alarm off button since it is in the middle of a lot of other buttons. The easiest way to shut it off is to find the alarm switch and turn it off and then back on. The biggest complaint I have is that alarm 2 can not be set to the radio - this is a huge oversight for an otherwise nice clock radio. The time will automatically adjust for daylight savings but that can be over ridden if you need to. Also the snooze button is only adjustable in 10 minute increments so 10, 20, 30 ... minutes.
