Speak to me gently dear panda....

I know what you, avid Gr33n4blu3 reader, are thinking. Why did he purchase an iPanda? Has this hulking slab of man-meat finally gone soft? Why would a quasi-Neanderthal who sweats raw testosterone and musk want a panda shaped speaker to blast his Heavy Metal Viking music? Before I get to that, let me say a few words on this product: 1. It is fully functional and extremely portable. As far as accessibility to all the features goes, this product gets an A+. You can increase the volume just by licking the ears. How cool is that? 2. The iPanda does have five speakers and they can blast out the music. I thought it might not be loud enough for me at first, but after playing with the knob in the iPanda's hindquarters I achieved the eardrum popping level of music that I enjoy. 3. When you have the iPanda buzzing along at full blast you can actually feel the vibrations coming from its mouth. While this is a neat feature, it does make me a little uncomfortable. Good panda

I ordered this for my girl and her 3rd gen nano. Works really well with that. With iphone 3g you get the airplane mode thing, but you can select NO and you dont get interference, which is nice. It DOES change iphone 3g as well as her nano. Sound quality is great. Sounds fantastic. Build quality is good. And its damn cute. Overall, i love this thing. One niggle is that there is this system of plastic pieces that allows you to put different ipod devices in in order to hold them steady. I found one that was really big for an old ipod and it works servicably with iphone 3g, but not a great fit, and there is the chance of bending the connector if you arent careful. Also keeping track of 7-8 pieces of plastic isnt the best solution IMHO, but it does work

Amazing

I bought the IPanda because of the review in SMART COMPUTING Magazine. I was really surprised at the fine sound and quality of workmanship. Everyone that sees it thinks it is just adorable--much raving about the looks. Those that know sound, ie musicians, also rave about the sound. The only fault is the on/off switch on the back that isn't programable with the remote, and you can't leave the IPod in the cradle. (battery is drained on the IPod.) A.C.

Small, Cute, and Awesome Sounding

I got this docking station for my girlfriend who started as a yoga instructor. The unit is small, light, and portable so it's easy for her to transport to teach classes. The cuteness factor always draws the "Oooooo . . ." response from her students and it's a great marketing gimmick to tie her practice as the Panda Yoga Teacher! Although the unit is small, the sound volume and fidelity is surprising loud and clear. And I'm a former audio snob who used to own very expensive audiophile music systems. I'm now thinking of getting my own Panda!

Great Speakers

I have the Ipod Shuffle, the least expensive one of all! I use this Panda with my shuffle and can enjoy my music with no problem. It is really cute sitting on the desk and the sound quality is very good for the price. It comes with all the components for the different Ipods. Now I need to buy another one for my children to enjoy! If someone is looking for a way to listen to downloaded music with good sound quality at a reasonable price, you would be happy with this Panda.

Young at heart? This is fun and sounds great. A plus is that you can work your ipod with the included remote! Looks great, graphic and iconic, when out and about in the house--much better than just the same old look of most ipod speakers.

love it. I also have the ipig. the reason why I have them is because the sound is amazing, the best fot the price. and really cute to look at. the volume is awesome.

Better than expected!

Very rarely does something I order on the internet, especially electronics, exceed my expectations. I am normally pretty critical, haven't given many five star ratings on Amazon, but this panda earned it! It was not a gift for a child, I bought it for myself and am an adult and it is cute without being too cutesy. People comment on it all the time. It works very well, speaker quality is good, simple, clean design. I hope it keeps working so well! I love the way the volume is built into the ears. I would definitely buy this product again and would buy it for a gift. It would make a great gift for a "tween" aged kid who is hard to shop for.
