We replaced a good quality Epsom printer-scanner-copier. We needed a machine that also faxes but did not want to compromise photo printing ability. We are very satisfied, with the quality and pleased with the price. Scanning coping, and faxing all work well and are easy functions to perform. All in all a great machine, at a very good price.

This printer is great it prints quickly, the scanner is also great. The only downfall is that it uses ink INCREDIBLY fast. I am a college student and I try not to print out many notes on this printer so I will not use as much ink, and this is rather inconvenient.

it works great if you don't have a lot to print and if you have time to print it and if you don't mind the noise. it has a "quiet" feature that I have not tried yet, but my guess is that it will just make it slower.
lots of features and good quality prints for the price though.

I bought this all-in-one because I was in desperate need of a scanner, and the reviews of the product were all stellar. The reviews didn't lie -- I've been delighted using it to scan and re-print old family photos, printing CD and DVD labels, making copies, and more.
The only drawback is that it isn't wi-fi capable nor does it have a network jack, so it needs to be plugged directly into an individual computer -- this means using it as the primary printer/scanner for multiple machines typically involves some cable-swapping (or sharing it out via one computer that's left on all the time).
Even given that, I'm thrilled with the functionality, quality, and price of this all-in-one -- a phenomenal value and I'm thrilled I bought it.

I have used everything copy, fax, scan, print and all worked fine.
I made over 80 Xmas cards printed the envelopes and made the labels
This all took way less time than before.
I also have a canon photo printer and a canon camera I love them too
If I had to say one thing bad I would wish for cheaper Ink

I shopped online and in stores for more than a month before selecting this machine.
Reasons for my choice:
- don't need the wireless feature, so that eliminates possible technical problems and lowered the price.
- has good reviews for photo print quality which I haven't used yet
- uses only 2 cartridges which can be refilled. So far I have not needed to refill. You can select which cartridge you want to use by choosing black, color only or black and color. this saves on using colored ink unnecessarily.
- scanner has ocr (optical character recognition) capability
- Vista compatible
- holds plenty of paper, easy to load. copies come conveniently out the front of machine.
- LCD screen is small but readable.
- have not used the fax since I don't have a landline phone in the house.
- fast print time compared to my 6 year old Dell printer which just bit the dust.

Got on sale for $79. Replaced my old, big clunky all-in-one that never worked right with my mac. Installation CD didn't work, so had to download software from Canon website. So far works fine. Simple, nothing flashy. Good for the price.

What a great machine. So easy to use--realy didn't use the manual and was able to figure it out pretty easily. I bought this as a scanner and FAX and it's great that it has a document feeder. Strongly recommend this product.

First I thought, how great, a readable manual. That means the average person could read it, but do not include right-brainers like me. Yes, I did work my way through getting the printer out of the box and plugged into the wall, but later on, I needed some help in finishing up the print connection process. Called their Customer Service at 6 P.M. A recording asked for my phone number and 9 minutes later they called me back. The rep was knowledgeable, polite, and insisted on hanging with me until I got a page printed and was happy with it. Told me not to hesitate to call them back. I asked when they closed up. The answer was "...10 PM tonight." Life can be beautiful. Since then, I've not had the time to run the printer through all its paces, but I will and without that knot in my stomach that occurs when I have to call, shall we say, Hewlett Packard. So far, I like the printer. Good price too.

The only problem I had with this printer is that the fax would pick up, even after we answered the phone in a couple of rings, and it would pick up before our answering machine had a chance to answer. It took a bit of research and playing around with the 'voice priority' vs. 'fax priority' setting, as well as various # of rings settings, before I got past these. And I'm an I.T. pro by trade - I imagine the frustration might be greater if you're not so technically inclined.
Other than that, it says what it does, and it does what it says!

I purchased a MP350 printer about one and a half years ago. I rarely used the product (printed under 50 pages). I received the error message `6B00' and called tech support. After waiting on hold for a considerable amount of time, I was told the error required service, but that the service cost would likely exceed the cost of the printer. The service centre was also well outside of the city (and I am in a major metro area). Given I was outside of the warranty period, it would not be covered (despite it being a defect given the very low use). I followed up with a Manager (Ravi Pawa) who informed me they would not do anything other then offer a 20% discount on their site (which is more expensive vs. the big box stores so it means little and I am now sticking to other brands). I recommend consumers avoid Canon printers and stick with companies that choose to stand behind their products when it is clearly a defect on their end (even if it is just outside the warranty period).

I haven't had any problems with this printer. It is very user friendly, didn't even need to consult the manual. It has already saved me money with all the photos I have printed. The prints are good quality.
Don't forget to purchase the USB cable, if you don't have one already! It is not included.

I bought this for my use while going to school and it has functioned brilliantly. No problems, no jams and everything is clear and exactly how I want it. A great buy for the price.

After reading a lot of the reviews for this machine, I decided to purchase it. We wanted a fax machine with a sheet feeder and flatbed scanner capability, but the only ones available with these features are an all-in-one fax. At this price point, I feel like it is a good value. Yes, it does eat up a lot of ink, but I guess Canon has to make money somehow. I consider myself pretty computer savvy, but I still cannot manage to figure out how to make it print a report after each fax. The one big negative, is that for some reason, the fax does not pick up on "telelphone priority mode." It became infuriating when it wouldn't pick up after the 3rd try. It finally picked up when I put it on "fax priority." Since we know when we are receiving faxes, it is not a problem to switch it to fax priority mode, but I wish the "telephone priority" mode would work, as it states in the manual. I am pleased with the print quality. Overall, I would recommend it for the home user with occasional fax needs.

I didn't give it five stars because the user manual was online and difficult to navigate. The papers need to be placed face up to scan and fax and it's a little different from most. BUT....once you get the hang of it...it's a great little printer, easy to load paper.

For the price, you wont find a better product. Cannon is a great name and makes reliable products. I didn't need the fax but got the all in one printer anyway, and I use the fax now. I have had the product for 5 months now and have not had one single problem with it!
Printing quality is excellent, even for picutre printing.

When I bought this I had read that it was impossible to network without an expensive piece of extra equipment. I have to tell you, I got it hooked up to my network in about 10 minutes. It took longer to install the software on all of the computers than it did to network this printer. As far as cost of ink goes, we print all the time, and then refill. We have had no problems with this printer. I didn't give it ia 5 stars because it is a bit loud, but it also has the ability, in the software, to make it quieter. The hard part was networking my Vista computer to see the XP network, and getting the vista to print to the network printer, this canon. But I got it. This printer is worth the price, and is a good medium priced printer.

Canon Pixma MX330. I purchased my Canon All-In-One to replace an HP All-In-One. It prints a higher quality document, scans true colors , and faxes easily. In addition to the higher quality output I receive, the ink cartridges are much cheaper. I can ink my printer with both cartridges for about $38, and before one cartridge cost from $30 to $40 each. I have a small Canon printer for my laptop and was so satisfied I was anxious to try a larger printer for more functions. I was not disappointed.

Shipped quickly and received on estimated delivery date. Easy setup with software disk enclosed on VISTA software laptop, also comes with both color and black ink (some brands do not have black ink so must order). Placed in daughter's college dorm, has a somewhat large footprint for dorm room desk, but works well. If you get for student also get an extra black ink and don't forget a ream of paper. For daughter only drawback is that must open front printer door to get printed output which takes up a little more desk area.

This is excellent all in one Printer, Fax, and Copier machine!!! For the price, you can't go wrong. It's super fast and prints very good copies... Very easy to set up... (NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A USB CABLE FOR YOUR COMPUTER CONNECTION... DON'T LEAVE THE STORE WITHOUT IT.... IT'S NO INCLUDED???) Give me a break Canon, what's up with that?.... One other thing, when you send a fax, it doesn't let you know that fax was received from the display on the front of the machine. You have to click on "Activity Report" on your computer to check the status. But over all, very good value!!!

I bought this because I need to scan multiple-page documents and e-mail them in .pdf format to clients. Everything online says it has an automatic document feeder of 30 pages, but it fits more like 40-50 pages. It works fast and efficiently and is VERY EASY to scan and save as a .pdf format!!!!! I highly recommend this to anyone needing a good quality scanner at an affordable price!!!!!!!

This review is actually on the Canon MX320. It is the MX330's little brother. Both printers are identical except the MX320 does not have the color lcd screen, it has a 2-line dot matrix screen. Since I do all of my editing on my computer, and can't see much on the little screen anyway, I chose to save about $40. Either printer offers great value in my humble opinion. PROS: 1. Photo quality equal to my Canon MX830. I don't know why or how but the prints look the same. Even better if you use Canon's "VIVID" setting in the Easy Photo Print software under paper selector. 2. The scanner reproduces colors and details that are very close to original and you have the option to touch up photos after scanning. Using the ADF you can copy legal size papers. 3. The fax options are not perfect but they work. This is the first all-in-one that I've owned that I can actually leave the fax running in the back round without it interfering with phone calls on the same line. Using the TEL Preferred setting

This is the most obnoxious printer I have ever encountered. IT constantly beeps at me that it is jammed when it is not. It spits out blank sheets of paper after blank sheets of paper before it will print and is ALWAYS saying it is jammed when in fact it is not. Save your sanity and purchase something else!

This printer works great, but it runs through a black ink cartridge about every week or two. My old Canon printer lasted for about a month on one cartridge. Also the old printer had cartridges for individual colors, so I didn't have to buy a whole new color cartridge every time one color runs out like this model does.

Recently purchased the Canon PIXMA MX330 multifunction printer through Amazon.com. It functions well as a copier and produces excellent quality copies. It has the usual fax capabilities. However, I haven't figured out how to stop the auto-redial function when it's obvious the receiving fax isn't picking up after many attempts. More digging into the electronic operating manual might help, but that isn't possible yet. See the next paragraph.
The driver software presented a problem. While attempting the CD download, it choked my Toshiba laptop running MS Vista, causing it to freeze up and not complete the download (thus, no electonic manual). Amazingly, my hard drive crashed when the freeze-up occurred. Others have complained at the Canon web site about software download problems with this unit. Canon is sending me another disk.
I can't even begin to evaluate the printer's computer interconnectivity functions until I can actually get it to talk to my repaired computer.

I have a Canon MP830 multifunction printer connected to my Mac running OS X10.5.X. In many ways I find the Canon unit to be functional and more than satisfactory. I print the occasional photo and have been please with the results, although I have to admit that I am increasingly using photo printing services because the results are overall better and there is little wastage of ink, paper and time to get good results. The scanner works great and I love the sheet feeder on it. I use the fax for outgoing occasionally and it works well enough. Copier function is fine as well.
Most of us know that printer companies really sell ink to make their money, and Canon is no exception. I have long noticed that my Canon is constantly pestering me about replacing a color ink tank when I haven't been doing color printing. These tanks ain't cheap. If you buy canon inks, a 4-tank (CMYK) pack is going to set you back about $45 discounted.
After being hit up by my printer for yet another color tank, and

It's a good machine.
Just tested it out...the thing copies well, faxes well, scans well and prints well. Nothing earth-shattering here but it does a good solid job.
A big plus is that it's intuitive and a person can accomplish most things looking at the color LCD and pushing adjacent buttons on the front panel. It also has intuitive support software.
It's not fun to pay big bucks for devices that are outdated by something better and cheaper a year later. For $85, this a great deal.
I could say a lot of nasty things about my last HPs but instead will simply say that this machine is already better. If it's trouble-free more than a few days past the warranty, unlike the HPs, I'll continue to be impressed.

Very easy to set up, the directions were very complete and easy to follow. I really just needed a printer (or so I thought). Now that I have it, I really like the copy feature too. Makes nice quality color or b/w copies and it is simple, just lift the lid and place original like a commercial copier. The fax works well too. The only downside is the size, it takes up a fair amount of space and it needs clearance above so you can lift the lid, but it does so much that I can live with that.

I'm very happy with my printer. The book that comes with it leaves a lot of questions. Fax machine is tricky to set-up but support from Pixma is great.Only used it 3 or 4 times to fax so far but seems to get the job done.

I used the Canon pixma 330 for about 2 weeks and then it broke down. The paper would not load and enter into the unit; it would just make a poor attempt by just grabbing and wrinkling the paper but the paper would not enter the unit. I called Canon to troubleshoot and they said that it was defective and they just sent me another unit a few days ago. Hopefully this unit will last longer.....we'll see.

My Epson all-in-one bit the dust this week, and, after a bit of online research, I ordered a Canon MX330. It lists for 109, and I got it for 79. The MX330 doesn't include a USB2 cable, but you probably have one already from the printer you're throwing away. My primary use is as a scanner or occasional copier (I scan the page, save it as a PDF, and print it to my laser printer). Ink cartridges seem priced much more reasonably than my Epson, too. The refill cartridges are available in 2 sizes as well - a big plus.
The MX330 is VERY well packed. There's a slot for Bluetooth on the front (however THAT'S used). Software for my G5 iMac went in easily enough. It printed and scanned immediately. The first few photos were washed out in color, and the "VIVID" setting noted in the online documentation wasn't in MY print dialog box (10.5.6). After 3 prints, the colors started to look better. I recall the literature says that the cartridges will print about 350 pages -- not a heluva lot. Scanning

I decided it was time to upgrade my printer, and wanted to get an ALL IN ONE, since I was also in need of a scanner and copier. My previous printer was a canon printer ( i 960) , and since I was very happy with the quality and ease of use of that printer, I decided to stick with a canon product. After some research I determined that the new Canon MX330 would be perfect for my needs. This printer delivers as promised. It does a great job at all functions, and was very easy to set up. Photos ( when printed on canon's glossy photo paper) look great, and are near or as good as photo lab quality. Documents printed out come out very sharp, and the automatic feed feature for multiple pages during scanning/faxing works great. The Fax feature I could not test totally yet since I don't have an actual phone line, but use a "Magic Jack" line, and there are some issues when trying to fax using a "magic Jack" phone line. I am going to play around with the fax settings to see if I can get it

We've only had it for a few weeks, but so far the only complaint I might have is that it is bigger than I anticipated. It is replacing an HP All-in-one that I was having trouble with and I thought since it was a new model that it would be smaller. Instead it is noticably bigger, but all of the functions are easy to setup and use. I've used it to copy, fax and scan without any trouble. The only thing I haven't done is print pictures.
