Imagine Pitfall Harry and Indiana Jones have a love child, that is what Nathan Drake is. This game is a must own for any PS3 owner, and worth owning a PS3 just for this great game.

I bought this game knowing that it was going to be something special, and indeed it was. The game doesn't take to long to beat even on hard it only has a runtime of about 6-8 hours. But it is like playing a fortune hunter movie for all of those 6-8 hours. I recommend this game to anyone who is looking for a thrillride. This game is a rollercoaster from strt to finish. I guarantee you will not regret buying this game!

I havent had time to play the entire game yet, but so far the game is absolutely amazing. The first scene in the game is movie like and the graphics are unbelievable. It basically takes everything from the first uncharted and improves it.
I put length as a 3 because I havent finished it yet so I dont know. If it is anything like the 1st one I will wish it was longer.

The story was fun and interesting and pulls you in to keep playing. The mechanics are the same as the previous installment and doesn't change much formula-wise. After you beating it tho, not much to do with the game. the puzzles in the game were way too easy and the game gives hints too soon.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves for Playstation 3 is a definite must have for your gaming collection. This game truly lives up to the hype. The graphics are absolutely beautiful in every detail. The game play was very fun and offered a spin on the traditional platformer. My favorite part of this game is the dialogue not only during cut scenes but during game play as well. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. It's not the lengthiest game, but there is plenty to do once you complete it the first time around. Get it today!

i have uncharted 1- drake's fortune, and i still play over and over its like you watching a movie and dont get tired of it, uncharted 2 i just bought it and out of all the games i play this year i have to say this has been the best yet there is on ps3. if i had a chance to go higher than 5 stars i would give it 100.

The story is like a summer blockbuster action movie.
The commercial with the girl watching the guy play couldn't be more true.
I gave 4 stars for challenge because I would have like to see more puzzles. But the challenge level for normal is perfect. Not too hard not too easy.
The camera in the game, the guy who wrote the code should be give an academy award are something. I never had any problems with the camera.
The multiplayer is awesome. It feels like the story of the single player but with friends. Nothing more rewarding then some friends giving you props for killing the last 3 guys when you are by your self at the end of a match.
IMO I like the multiplayer for this game more then MW2. But I am still going to play them both.

Back in November of 2007, I downloaded a demo of the first Uncharted. Not long after, I purchased the game that became one of the my favorite Playstation titles of all time. It was definitely the game I played the most times through compared to any other title. And when they announced a sequel, I was incredibly excited, however, afraid that a sequel would fall flat and do too much and ruin a great franchise.
This title exceeded my expectations in millions of ways.
From the second the game starts to the final line Drake delivers, this game has you hooked in. This game is just EPIC. Last time I had this feeling is when I played God of War 2. There are so many surprises in the games when it comes to story and gameplay. Single player has great replay value. Some levels are just plain crazy.
Multiplayer is also very good and unique in a sense. 3 player co-op is JUST AWESOME.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet since i'm sure hundreds of other people have said the same thing. If you own a Playstation 3, you owe it to yourself to buy Uncharted 2. The game play, voice overs, humor, graphics... ALL will blow you away. Don't even get me started on how awesome the online multi-player is! Don't wait, BUY this game now! Game of the year, hands down.

After I admittedly bought a PS3 mainly to not buy a 360 (and for the blu-ray), I have since been regretful of my decision. Seeing those 360ers playing Halo and all that junk, I began to look for the defining reason behind my actions. That's where Uncharted 2 comes in. First off, the game looks stunning. The graphics are the best I've seen (eva!) and make the game a true wonder to watch...yes, watch. When you actually get your turn to play...the gameplay is improved upon the original with the addition of the stylish "riot shields" and about a billion propane tanks throughout the game for you to shoot (007 style). All in all, this game takes on a grander scale and is fun as hell with enough difficulty levels and unlockables to keep you for a second round. The Story is fantastic, with the ending fit for a Hollywood movie (which may be closer to becoming reality than you think) and its fun and loving (...Elena...woowoo) will give you an emotional grasp to hold on to. I loved this game. For some reason, I am not much for First-person shooters, and prefer the third-person shooter point of view. For that, Uncharted 2 most definitely delivers. I was a big fan of the first one, and the second one definitely ups the ante. The story is solid and very movie-like, with much of the animation moving seemlessly in and out of cut-scenes. Sometimes during play there are cut-scene type things happening, but you're still in full control of Drake. I also love the dialog. While not up to, say, Joss Whedon standards, there are definitely some good lines in there. Plus, there's "Kitty Got Wet," which is my favorite new taunt. The multiplayer is new this time around, and I found it very well done. Granted, I'm not as prolific a player for multiplayer stuff - I've never played a Call of Duty game, for example, but the Uncharted 2 multiplayer has a wide variety of modes and is a lot of fun to play. I didn't play the first game but heard amazing things from the second game. Decided to pick it up first day and I was extremely impressed with the game. I have 2 friends that hate everything PS3 and are Halo lovers and I told them about the game and they watched a little bit of the game. Over the last 2 weeks they both played, beat and loved the game :) Highly recommended

I just got this game yesterday. I had to wait until I had $65 to spare, wow, the wait was soooo worth it. The first level (the train over the cliff) was almost too intense, I fainted after getting Nathan Drake to jump onto the cliff. I absolutely am 100% a Die Hard fan of the Uncharted Series, but I wonder how they will top this game with a 3rd title??? I wonder if they can, I mean this game does use 100% of the PS3's muscle. So how would they improve the graphics?? They are already photo realistic, I showed my Mom the game, she even thought it was a CGI Movie. Not a game.. Seriously.I can't wait to finish the whole storyline, it is captivating in every aspect. Please do yourself a favor get this game today. This game pwns any game on the XBOX360. When I saw this at E3, I was so excited. Naughty Dog did not disappoint. This game has it all. Beautiful backgrounds, stealth takedown, big gun battles. The way the movies blend with the gameplay is masterful (reminds me a little of MGS4). There are definitely times you'll hold your breath and definitely times you'll catch yourself forgetting you were playing a game. I guarantee that you'll love this game.

This game is really good!! It is definitley better than the first one. There are some unique and exciting levels that keep it from getting repetetive. The story is really good and the in game movies where you are still controlling your character are amazing. The game has some hidden humor that is enjoyable, "You brought a hooker to church?". I wish it was a bit longer, but the treasures provide good replay value.

I bought this for SP only, and got more than I planned. Unbelievable game, feels like you are taking a part in a movie. Great game play, story, etc. I wish they would make the MP a little better, but I didn't buy it for that so no problem.

I had very high expectations for this game and it did not disappoint. The single player is amazing and so is the online multiplayer. My favorite part is the store. You can buy different player skins, weapons, mods such as unlimited amo, or one shot kills and much more for when you play the campaign again. Best game to get for a PS3 owner.

This is a really solid game. I traditionally play games for the XBOX 360, and use my PS3 for Blu Ray. This game however should be in anyone's collection if you have a PS3. The story is actually very good, the graphics are beautiful, sound quality is very nice, allowing you to adjust your sound options to 7.1, controls are solid, very easy to become familiar with gameplay, puzzles will keep it challenging, and not just actual puzzles in the game, but strategy for dispatching enemies silently, or which order is best to do it in. Some parts of the game you may die. A lot. The game will let you die a good number of times in certain instances before it may break you off a hint such as jump to the window while the building is falling down, but the reloading was fast, and playing the same section a few times was never tedious, as there are so many ways to dispatch foes, like hand to hand, straight up shooting, a combination of the 2 or explosives. If you enjoyed the first Uncharted you will love this one. The graphics are unbelievable! The game feels like a movie as you play along because of the way the characters interact with one another. There are some intense moments and "Gotcha" moments that really make the gameplay enjoyable. The only issue I had was that I wanted it to last longer. But, I think the replay value is there so I am looking forward to playing it again and trying out some of the weapons that I bought after finishing it the first time.

This is a fantastic game and fitting sequel to the original Uncharted. Few games are an experience all there own and as emersive as this well developed game from Naughty Dog. The story is compelling, the characters (once again) are relatable and enjoyable to play and interact with, and the play of this game puts you in the shoes of a summer blockbuster action hero. No complaints with this one. Just count yourself lucky if you're fortunate enough to own a PS3 and the chance to get your hands on this exclusive title.

Graphics are amazing in this game. Multiplayer is mad addicting. Definitely the best PS3 shooter multiplayer out there right now (in my opinion). The single player experience is real treat, but the multiplayer will make sure you are playing this game for hours on end.

the only downfall is that it's so good the game just flys through and you'll want to play more, but that's what the harder difficulties are for. As for the multiplayer it can be fun and addicting to me not as fun as other games though but still worth the price.

I was glued to the PS3 until I beat the game. I've not played online multiplayer yet. Get the game!!! Get it!!! You'll be on the ground, dying of laughter spasms over some of the things said between the characters.

This has to be one of the most addicting games ever. Twice as good as the original Uncharted. The story line keeps you into the game and the game runs smooth with NO LOADING times during gameply!! Trophies are fun to get and the puzzles in the game keep you guessing, but hints are available when needed. I will be playing this one again and again!

Great game. Must play. However, in my opinion wait a year or two before you buy it. I beat it in 12 hours straight. If you take your time, explore, find jewels and ect you will get your moneys worth. Great story line. Just like a movie or book, once you watch one or read one who really watchs or reads more than once? Movie? Perhaps. But replay value, no. I just payed full price and will sell it now before it depreciates in value for $40.00 I recommend if you have a lot of time on your hands, buy it and then sell it or rent it. If you have a busy schedule, buy it.

This game lives up to the first one. If you enjoyed that one you will this one as well. My only complaint is the length - to short for the price. However, they again deliver with bright, colorful graphics and scenery and a great story. Controls were smooth and easy. Camera angles infrequently annoyed me.

Uncharted 2 is a perfect sequel to Uncharted. Graphics are great, sound is great, the story is phenomenal. I don't really play the multiplayer much, but it is very well done and a great addition to the series. The length of the game is appropriate and this is definitely a game that you enjoy more than once. Downloadable Content is supposed to come before the end of the year, so there is a ton of stuff to do with Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Awesome Game.

I love this sequel very much. Since I can't play these games i bought it for my hubby to play. i also made my hubby play it everyday for hours on end. I know I'm such a bad wife lol

This is without a doubt the best game i have played this gen. Naughty Dog did an outstanding job on this game and they deserve a lot of credit for it. This game has an outstanding storyline and a multiplayer that is very addicting, any1 reading this review that hasnt picked up this game yet should do so. Cant wait for U3.

There was SO much hype of Metal Gear Solid 4, and I HATED all the ridiculous cut scenes and horrible acting. This game kills that game. The story is really quite good, it keeps you interested, and you'll never be tempted to just skip the movies and get back to the game play. Seriously happy with this game!

this is one of the best games that has been out for ps3. it keeps you on the edge of your seat through the whole game. it kind of reminds me of god of war but shooting instead of hack and slash. this is one of those games that makes you happy that you have a ps3. i stayed up two nights in a row and beat the game on normal but i am going to start over again on hard. this is one of those games that will up the bar for other action games in the future.

Ive never reviewed anything on Amazon before,but i HAD to with this game...simply amazing. The graphics,the story,the acting (both voice & animations)...i could go on. And theres Multi-player also! Wich,yes,it needs work...but its not unplayable though. Naughty Dog,job well done! Hope there's more to come. Now to Amazon's 'Digital Treasure Map'...i am VERY disappointed. This was my first pre-order with you,and probably my last. The Map was the only reason i pre-ordered with you and not Best Buy,Game Stop or anywhere else. And to find out it only shows 6 or so trophies out of 100 was a big let down. No,the trophies are not THAT important to me...i just think if you are told you will recieve something for pre-ordering,you should get it.

I enjoyed playing this game. One of the games I sat down and I couldn't stop playing until I actually beat the game. The length was actually plenty. I didn't know when it would be over. As much as i wanted to beat the game and get it over with, i wanted more of it to play. It is challenging but good enough to get through it all. The graphics are awesome in how they created the environments and it seems to look okay even if your not using a hdtv. I enjoy playing the multiplayer with friends but the only downside I think is the waiting time to locate other players because it takes awhile but in the end the gameplay itself made the wait worth it. There are still some bugs in multiplayer which I hopefully will get patched..like i died because i tried to jump over a wall but it glitched and i got stuck in the wall or the random nades that were thrown and were seen flashing in mid air. Hey, but overall I recommend this game for its singleplayer as well as its multiplayer cos its worth the buy.

If you own a ps3, you must buy this game. Heck, this game is good enough to just buy a ps3 for this game. This game makes me feel like i'm playing an indiana jones movie. The only thing that made me frustrated was beating some parts on crushing, but that's why it's called crushing. It's a pretty easy game to get a platinum trophy too if you are in to trophies. If you don't believe me how good this game is, read all the reviews for it and then you will know how great this game is.

i always stated that even the ps3 is a better machine than the 360, it had a horrible online and exclusive were lame, but this game shows the real power of the ps3

Top notch Naughty Dog! great game. the whole game kept me on my edge of my seat, great story line, at times very challenging. the one thing i thought they could improve on is in the multiplayer if there was a "quickturn" so you can watch your back. Other than that i hope there is a 3rd Uncharted and i will be picking up the day it comes out.

Sony time and time again comes out with exclusive titles that deliver. Uncharted 2 continues this tradition. From the moment you start the story mode, you feel like you are in control of a Hollywood production. The breathtaking visuals, the seamless storyline, the robust characters, and the guns! Everything about this game is fantastic.
The multiplayer side of the game is just as great. The only argument I would have is that headshots feel a little halo-ish. But it adds to the challenge of the game. The reward system is fantastic and helps you in your overall game experience.

If the rating is 1-5 stars then this is the game is a 5 !!!! If you've never played, you will be amazed, If you play a lot, you won't want to play anything else. This game puts all others on notice. If you enjoyed the first installment of Uncharted, then this game is definitely a must buy. The gameplay is fundamentally the same, but has been upgraded to create a great experience. The backdrops are beautifully rendered, and it is quite honestly a stunning game. Good thought was put into the storyline, and it crosses the right amount of history and fiction. Overall, this is an outstanding play.
I find few games that are worth the price tag when they are released ($59.99), but this is one of them. Enjoy!

I usually read the reviews before buying but hardly ever write one. After playing through this masterpiece, I felt that I would be doing any possible buyers a huge disservice if I didn't say something about this game. Everything in this game is top notch... the voice overs, the graphics, the gameplay, the cinematics, etc. I literally couldn't stop smiling all the way through. I have over 100 games for the 360 and about 25-30 for the PS3 and the Wii.. let me say that this was easily the best game I have ever had the pleasure of playing. It is a total experience from start to finish. I hope this helps... Happy hunting!!!

Wow. Great graphic and great story. What more do you need? Well how about the best sound I've ever heard and outstanding battles. I wont ruin anything but there are some nice surprises. The dialogue is very interesting and at times very funny. The writing is genius. I feel like I'm playing a movie at times. My only drawback is a small freezing issue. Happened 3 times at very crucial parts already. I will say the autosave feature is dead on and you usually dont lose much gameplay. Other than that this PS3 exclusive is a grand slam and you would be doing yourself a massive disservice by not getting this.

When I play this game, my adrenaline is so pumped that just like the first Uncharted, I couldn't stop and go to sleep all night so I played this game nonstop. My sentences may sound like run-ons because I'm still running on coffee right now.
This is without a doubt the best game of the year, not just because it's friggin fun, but also because like I said, there's an awesome story plot that will keep you intrigued to continue playing just so you can see and finish the "movie."
I would totally reccomend getting this game with no regrets.

You once again step into the shoes of Nathan Drake who makes a return with friends new and old to solve the mystery of the legendary Cintamani stone, supposedly lost in the mythical kingdom of Shambhala. The newly added co-operative multiplayer feature allows the game to have great replay value as you now have the ability to play with a friend. This game is the best I've played so far! I am completely immersed in the story, gameplay, and the visuals. I'm amazed they were able to make this sequel so much better than the first UNCHARTED!

This is a really good game, and anyone that owns a ps3 should really buy it, it has extremely good graphix, good controls, and awesome gameplay. But I think the best part of the game is online!! online is extremely fun, you get to compete againts other players or go coop with them, and make money to unlock new characters and costumes, and upgrade your weapons for coop, and upgrade you skills for competetive, 5/5 really good game.

From what i have experienced with this game. I'd say its the best to date!!! I dont have an HD tv yet so i cant experience it fully but it beats any other game out there so far and even beats ALL XBOX GAMES!!! they cant even come up with any good ones since they rely on 3rd parties...

I'm not going to waste time. Just like the first Nate Drake adventure, Beautiful scenery,landscapes and awesome storyline keeps you hooked like a great movie the entire game. Dont hesitate about this not being as good or "classic" as he first,It keeps all the great things about the 1st and fine tunes the rest. Must Buy.Today

We (me and kids) found Uncharted 2 to show major improvements in every aspect over the Drake's Fortune, its predecessor. The world is bigger and more colorful, the characters are more interesting, the story is... well... more compelling and spread over several sites, the cinematic action and the interactive play blend seamlessly into each other, there's a much better mix between shooting, melees, exploration and chases, there are more weapons and... to put it shortly, if you liked Drake's Fortune then Uncharted 2 is guaranteed to blow your socks off. GAME MODES Surprisingly combat is easier than in Drake's (new weapons such as the Riot Shield help). I won't call myself an above-average gamer. I almost always start playing in the 'easy' mode and I rarely dare the 'difficult' modes but Among Thieves makes it so easy and it's so much more natural and fluid when compared with Drake's. This game is much better than the first, and that is saying a lot because of how great the first game was. The stealth element is actually quite fun. As before brawling is good, but more refined. He can counter moves, which means the A.I. fights back. AWESOME! The graphics are mind blowing as is now a staple with this franchise. The smallest details are vibrant. The assortment of weapons are good, and he can now use objects in the environment to battle with. The storyline is action packed, and pulse pounding and makes you feel like you are a part of it. I have said enough. I tried not to reveal too much lol. BUY THIS GAME!!! IT IS WELL WORTH IT!!!

This review is not subsequent to "getting on the bandwagon" with other reviewers...but it wouldn't hurt. Instantly, you are immersed into edge-of-the-seat death-defying action! Uncharted 2 catches you off guard on a regular basis, leaving little to no room for letting your guard down. The graphics are plush with great contrast ratio bringing out each color and making it easier to identify objects. Gameply acrobatics are unothidox (a good thing) as you hurlde over rooftop beams (don't slip), leap across large gaps that would lead to your untimely death should you fail the jump and creative interactive gaming sequences (ie. defusing alarm systems). This game is unlike any other game because it MAKES you utilize your surroundings (also a good thing). Causing you to climb poles, leap across ledges while hanging off them, shimmy, and navigate rooftops & high areas. I'm only 6 hours in, but already I am loving this game. It is the best video game I have ever played in this genre, but also across the board. The graphics are phenomenal, the characters completely believable and hilarious, the game play improved and more exciting, and the camera work and environments fantastically improved. In the first game, there was only one tucan in the jungles. Now, let's see-- so far I've seen at least 6. Yes. Everything has been improved and tweaked, but many of those wonderful elements have been kept the same. Nathan Drake, how I LOVE thee. Naughty Dog, I adore you.

Ok, to start things off. Even though this game is not out you can go onto Playstation Store on your PS3 and you can download the Beta version. It gives you a sample of the game and also gives you ONLINE MULTIPLAYER!! When i first started playing it, I wasn't thrilled with it, but the more you play the more it will grow on you. It is a fun game to play with friends and game modes that make your expirience better. It is a fun game and i cannot wait to buy the full version of it. Oh and also a cool feature on it is that it recordsyour matches so if you do good you can save it to your hard drive and show your friends which is pretty cool.

The graphics are amazing in this game. I played the online beta and it was amazing. The gameplay is so smooth and clean. The voice over is perfect, and the story looks to be as good as the first one.

After taking part in the multiplayer beta and having played the first uncharted game I was extremely pleased to see the changes in graphics and gameplay to this game. Hopefully the story line will be solid and they will focus greatly on the multiplayer by adding unlockable weapons, outfits, and ranking. Could possibly beat out COD4 for me if the multiplayer gets all those things and the high level of interaction with the environment.

This game is not yet released, but with trailers and sit in beta plays from a friend, can't reveal his name; this game is going to be in the charts at #1 in its first week. I guarantee it. Naughty Dog pushed PS3's graphics engine in Drake's Fortune - and let me just say that, Naughty Dog pushed the engine to near max! Superior graphics and real life environment adaptations - like in freezing departures, Drakes body becomes "frozen," if you will. Although I can not divulge the story to this game, be prepared to play for hours straight!
