Easy to use at a good price and easy to set up. Interaction of handsets is very good, with phone numbers easily transferable between handsets. Light. Good range. May be difficult to replace batteries, however, and additional handsets in most stores are not available and have not been for many months, Initial delivery for November 2009 has slipped to December 2009. Not good.

I was looking for quality phone set with the latest technoloty and that would be dependable and compatible with my Ooma VOIP system. I didn't need another answering machine. Many other phones include an answering machine whether I need one or not. Uniden offers consumers a choice. I have had many cordless systems over the years from several brands. This Uniden set is the best quality and best value I have every purchased. I highly recommend it.

...But the name of this product ("Cordless Digital Answering System with Caller ID") led me to believe that there was a digital answering machine in the base. There is NOT. "Digital Answering System" is just their fancy-pants way of saying "phone."
Other than that, the phones seem to work fine. I was too lazy to return them when I found out there was no answering machine.

I returned this product. Felt the description was someone misleading. "Cordless Digital Answering System" does not mean it come with answering machine. It just means it has the ability to subscribe to a service.
