I bought this because I needed a new power adapter for my HP Pavilion dv7 before I left for a business trip to Japan. Unfortunately a week into the trip the power adapter stopped working. Luckily the IT department here had a replacement which has worked fine for the past couple weeks. I think I got a defective power adapter.

This charger works great! I haven't had any problems with it so far and it doesn't get overly hot like my original charger. It did take a while to get to me though.

Box had been opened and re-sealed; signs of wear on brick and fuzz on the velcro strap. Invoice stated clearly that this is supposed to be a NEW unit. Hopefully just an unused return. Need is immediate, and it works, so not going to return it. Three stars for now; will revise up or down in a few months based on whether it burns out like the first one did.

Needed an extra charger for out of office use. Works like new with no problems. Delivered as described and a fraction of OEM cost.

Great Quality and Price for this AC adapter, I only wish it was as long as the original. Small price to pay for the cost of the unit. I've had it for several weeks now and use it on a daily basis plugging and unplugging it, shoving it in a laptop bag etc. It's holding up well and does what it's suppose to, power my HP 8510w. I would by from this company again.

ORDERED ON THURSDAY AND GOT IT MONDAY. IT IS THE REAL DEAL, MADE AND STAMPED WITH THE HP LABEL. WALL PLUG CABLE IS 1 FOOT SHORTER, JUST USE THE OLD CABLE IF YOU HAVE IT. I BOUGHT ONE LAST TIME AT A RETAIL STORE FOR $80.00. THIS TIME AROUND $14.00. THANK YOU!!!!

The adapter power cord works fine with the HP docking station that I purchased (docking station does not come with a power cord).

When my adapter finally kicked the barrel earlier this week I was concerned about buying a new one. I have an HP G60, and the cost from Best Buy for a new adapter was around $75 with the cost from HP being even higher. I saw this one on here and got it for $22 with expedited shipping, had it in two days, and it is an actual HP adapter, not a third-market product. I couldn't recommend this highly enough. Came with a dongle that I assume adapts it to other plugs but it worked in my G60 with the original plug.
