TRITTON AXPro True 5.1 Gaming Headphones with 8 Precision Speakers, Removable Microphone, Dolby Digital Certified
Pros: Comfortable, great sound
Cons: So many wires.
I love it for playing Guild Wars 2 and League of Legends to talk to my teammates and not bothering my wife with some of the raging my teammates are known to.

TRITTON AXPro True 5.1 Gaming Headphones with 8 Precision Speakers, Removable Microphone, Dolby Digital Certified
Pros: Sound Quality is Superior
Cons: that its wired but its ok
I bought both headset the Tritton Ax Pro and the Tritton Ax 720 to compare them and the Tritton Ax Pro were by far better in sound and better controls for the headset. So i retured the Ax 720 the same day. I play MW3 and that same day i bought my Ax Pro's i got a Moab. I can hear Foosteps so much better with this headsets than my old turtle beach px5.

TRITTON AXPro True 5.1 Gaming Headphones with 8 Precision Speakers, Removable Microphone, Dolby Digital Certified
Pros: Comfortable
Cons: Audio
I created an account just to share my dissapointment. The ear buds that came with my ipod have better sound quality than this. I only tried on PC, and while they may work fine on the consoles, this thing is going back to the store tomorrow. At $160+ I simply can't express with words how bad the sound was on these...

TRITTON AXPro True 5.1 Gaming Headphones with 8 Precision Speakers, Removable Microphone, Dolby Digital Certified
Pros: sound is crisp, super comfortable and the list keeps going...
Cons: NA
i been a avid turtle beach person for a while, but after having sound issues i decide to get a new set. being that im on a budget well i could not afford the real deal gaming headset that are worth 250 dollars, so i went for these, mind you im not a person that love madcatz for there rep with some other products but at the time i did not know tritton was made by them lol...as soon as you unbox them you can feel there the real deal unlike the flimsy turtle beach headset these have a feeling of being made well even though there just plastic. setting the headset up on the xbox 360 is a breeze and had no issues with them, other than the fact that you cant actually have the little xbox 360 keyboard for the controller connected while using these. as far as the ps3 goes now thats where i ran into a bit of problem because the manual was not specific enough about where to go to actually change the settings in order to use them and you have to manually select the optical setting and also the dolby 5.1 setting for them which was a bit of a hassle unlike the xbox 360 which you connect and keep rolling. now for my favorite part, you have front speaker, center speaker, rear speaker then the subwoofer. the best thing about these headset is that you can change the settings to each speaker independently to your liking. so i dont know about all the bad reviews but in my opinion, 9 out of 10 people dont know what there talking about when it comes to these headphones and complain about them when its human error the reason for them not liking them. from a person who has been a turtle beach headset fan from day one im here to tell you that these are the real deal and there not simulated Dolby 5.1 like the turtle and others are. my advice dont worry about the negative comments and take my word for it you will not go wrong with theses, add a 2 year protection plan and your set...

TRITTON AXPro True 5.1 Gaming Headphones with 8 Precision Speakers, Removable Microphone, Dolby Digital Certified
I took back the Turtle Beach Deltas and got these and they are way better. Deeper bass better surround sound, of course considering the deltas are stereo with simulated surround sound. These don't crackle when loud like the deltas or cut out and get interference because they are wired. I had a big problem with that on the deltas. Overall I can't believe people like the deltas at all, these on the other hand is what I expected from the deltas. I use these for my xbox 360, ps3, music and movies, the turtle beaches were unbarable to listen to music on. My $20 skullcandy's sounded Also the setup was simple I have no idea why some people think its hard or a hassle. I personally thought the deltas were just as difficult if not more. I also have the official ps3 7.1 headset and thought those sounded better than the turtle beaches but needed something compatible with multiple devices.

TRITTON AXPro True 5.1 Gaming Headphones with 8 Precision Speakers, Removable Microphone, Dolby Digital Certified
I broke my old set of ax pros and exchanged them under my best buy warranty. Now triton has been bought out by mad cats. My very first headset was the turtle beach p-21. Which was their basic beginner head set. The turtle beaches were better than the new ax pros. I loved my original ax pros, but now they are junk. I had to turn up the game volume all the way and still was not as good as the original pros on half. Friends were telling me my voice had a weird crack in it. Overall I would not recommend these to anyone for the price. And I used to think they were the best. Very very disappointed with them . I will be taking them back today for sure.

TRITTON AXPro True 5.1 Gaming Headphones with 8 Precision Speakers, Removable Microphone, Dolby Digital Certified
Pros: Sound, comfortable, Real surround sound
Cons: Optical cable that comes with it is junk buy a better one
Got these bad boys plugged into my rig, at first I didn't think there was a difference between the fake surround sound the USB gaming headsets( I do still miss my G35s) But after I got everything set up right all I can say is wow, True surround sound in a headset, I can hear enemies approaching with almost pin point accuracy, BF3 sounds so much better its something you have to experience

TRITTON AXPro True 5.1 Gaming Headphones with 8 Precision Speakers, Removable Microphone, Dolby Digital Certified
Pros: True multiple speaker surround sound cans with terrific noise isolation
Cons: Lack of easy sound control from the inline remote
I almost titled this true 5.1 head phones but I realized that's kinda impossible since there's no way to stuff a sub-woofer into a set of headphones, or at least I've yet to see it done. But these guys give you the full surround sound experience. they offer excellent sound and almost complete noise isolation. The first night I had them the flat mates were out in the hall using the vacuum cleaner and I didn't even know it till I took them off to use the facilities.

With this head set there is only 1 control for the sound when talking to people online. Most other head sets have 1 control for incoming friend chat sound and 1 for out going. So if someone online is talking loud and you lower how you hear them people cannot hear you either.

TRITTON AXPro True 5.1 Gaming Headphones with 8 Precision Speakers, Removable Microphone, Dolby Digital Certified
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
I bought these for my son who is a gamer for christmas and didn't receive them until after the holiday. They worked great until just a couple of days ago when he came to me and asked "Mom, can we return these?" I asked why and he said "because they are broke and I am going to have to tape them to stay on my head." I paid a lot of money for these and am a firm believe that you pay for what you get , well if $170.00 is not good enough for head phones then I would really hate to see what a set that is on $50.00 would be like. Now I cannot return them because it is over the 45 day mark and because we are stationed overseas, by the time they get back they will well over 60 days. Thanks Best Buy for your return policy!!!

TRITTON AXPro True 5.1 Gaming Headphones with 8 Precision Speakers, Removable Microphone, Dolby Digital Certified
Pros: added features, connectivity, build quality
Cons: sound, and comfort
Upon unpacking the product, they had every connection you could think of to hardwire to either PS3/Xbox which was impressive.
The build felt sturdy, and came with different ear cups which was a great idea.
Each channel (left rear, right rear, center etc) could be seperated through the inline controller, and everything was well placed for volume, mic, etc.. removable mic was a nice touch also.
The product totally fails for comfort, and sound though. The earcups are to hard, and smooshed my ears. They were sore within the first 15 minutes, though they did a great job blocking outside noises.
The sound was similar to having tin coffee cans on either side. The sound field for seperate speakers was not impressive, but being able to turn the channels up or down was great!
The product design was well thought out for a wired solution, but it's sound, and comfort was not near the Turtle beach p21, or Ear Force Deltas that I have previously owned.

TRITTON AXPro True 5.1 Gaming Headphones with 8 Precision Speakers, Removable Microphone, Dolby Digital Certified
Pros: On the fly adjustable channels.
Cons: Comfort, lots of cords.
I've had the chance to try out many different gaming headsets, and this particular headset I would have to say is one of the better ones. The ability to adjust each channel on the fly is a great option. Downside would have to be the comfort level, they really seem to pinch into my lower cheek/ lower ear, which can be quite annoying even after a few minutes of game time. I've tried the Ax Pro's, Tritton 720's, Turtle Beach x41, and the Astro A40's. I would have to say all headsets I've tried beat out the Turtle Beach headset. to me they just don't sound nearly as clear or accurate for pinpointing you enemies nor do they sound quite as loud. The 720's for the price are actually one of the Best out there, very loud and do have some rumble. But if you ever get the chance to try some Astro A40's it really blows all the rest out of the water with 7.1 Dolby surround sound, the comfort of the ear cups feels like memory foam which allows you to game for hours.

TRITTON AXPro True 5.1 Gaming Headphones with 8 Precision Speakers, Removable Microphone, Dolby Digital Certified
Pros: Duribility
Cons: nothing
I have owned several pairs of headphones by Turtle Beach which have all broken within a few months. Tritton is by far the best in sound, clarity and durability.

TRITTON AXPro True 5.1 Gaming Headphones with 8 Precision Speakers, Removable Microphone, Dolby Digital Certified
Pros: Versatility, Comfort, Powerful & Clean Sound
Cons: Surround sound effect not quite as good as I expected. It would be nice if it had multiple optical inputs.
I bought this headset primarily for playing video games at night and to improve the surround sound experience vs. the Sony soundbar I have connected to my gaming systems. It is nice that it offers both analog and digital inputs, but I wish it had two or three digital optical inputs so that I could keep my xbox and ps3 connected at the same time. I have tried optical splitters and switches to no avail, it seems that this device is very sensitive to receiving an uninterrupted optical signal so I just have to manual switch the optical cable when I use each system.
The sound quality is nice and clear for the most part. If you crank up the subwoofer volume the sound starts to distort. The surround effect works well for side and frontal surround, but no matter how I adjust the sound it never really sounds like anything is behind me. The inline volume control for each channel is a nice feature. This is also the most comfortable headset that I have ever used. It came with both a felt and leather type padding that can be swapped out to suit your taste. I feel that that the normal retail price is a little high for this item, but I bought it from Best Buy on cyber Monday for $119 and feel that it was a good deal for this price.
