Seems like a nice DVD player, but just stopped working after 11 months. The Sony Warranty isn't helpful--they want 30 dollars so they can send me a refurbished one (w/o a warranty I assume).

Works wonderful for such a small little thing. No problems at all with the hook up or use.

What a beautifully sleek and compact machine! Only about an inch high and a foot wide; not much bigger than my portable Sony DVD player. And very user-friendly: From taking it out of the box to watching a DVD in two minutes. I like absolutely everything about this DVD player, from the functionality to the appearance to the price. No problems at all.

This product is pretty good for the price. I recently purchased this product and I have no complaint. It is simple to use. The price is perfect.

Played first DVD for five minutes and froze up. Had to pull plug and reinsert it to be able to remove the disk. Tried another disk. Same thing. Unit locked up after about five minutes of play. I guess the old saying "You get what you pay for" certainly applies here. I would not recommend this piece of junk to anyone.

What a piece of junk! Hook up is easy but after inserting my first DVD this machine never worked nor would it open so I could take out the DVD. The remote doesn't make any sense with the instruction booklet. No matter what the price if it doesn't work and is that cheaply made, don't purchase it. Enough said!

Compact and easy to use. The sound and video quality is excellent and the price unbelievably low. I was pleasantly surprised by the performance and appearance of this product and would recomment it to others. The item shipped very quickly and arrived in good condition with no hassles or problems.

I wanted a dvd Player that wasn't fancy and for 45 dollars, a dvd Player that would be modern. I bought this little player as an additional viewing choice for a rental closet room I own at a price that won't break the bank. While not world class by any means, it does offer better build quality than many similarly priced products and it provides a cheap DVD Player. It didn't work on my old TV set unfortunately.

For the price this is a very good player. It is however, very sensitive to fingerprints and smudges on the DVD. If you have trouble with skip, hops or freezes, try washing the DVD. I have noticed that many rental DVDs get handled improperly and can be quite dirty; washing the DVD completely solved the problem every time.

I have not been able to experience all the features of the dvd player; however, what I have experience thus far is good. The only problem I have is there is no ejection button on the remote control.

- I have a Sony A-150 laptop running Windows 7, The external DVD is NOT recognized by my laptop! Can not find drivers or assistance to overcome this problem. Wasted money.
