Ok,so I lied when I said HUGE. But let me explain. In an update to the gamecube original you're a wired lookin' kid who moves to a small village. You have a name for yourself, your town, and a birthday! In it your village is inhabited by three animals [more move in as you progress]. When you start out you get a really tiny house.
You can make it bigger by paying the bills. Then comes the fun part........[takes deep breath] shopping, collecting, chatting, and designing your own clothes. Theres lots of festivals, with prizes. You can shop for clothes at the Able's Sisters,or for tools and furniture in Nook's shop.Nook will expand just like your house.
There's really no action in this game, but you have to remember the good parts! But the big news is conecting with other people's towns on ds to ds conection or WiFi.Now that you have heard the good parts here are the cons.
1.
No missions: It is not a big deal but it could have helped.
2.
Same personalty:Animals don't really have very different

"Animal Crossing: Wild World" is one of the funnest games for the DS we have played. The game is essentially a bunch of mini games with no real goal, other than to have fun. You can "earn" money ("bells") by selling things you find or fish you catch (very fun) to buy furniture and expand your house. The game is loaded with special features and characters that show up on preset days, adding some enjoyable variety to the game. The wireless multi-player and on-line play is a great fun for the whole family, we have 4 DS and 4 Animal Crossing games to play with each other (your characters go to one of the player's "towns"). We range in age from 11 to 45 years old and play this game several times a week, either alone or together!
Highly recommended for all ages!

I purchased Animal Crossing about a week ago for my eight year old child. Not only did she love it, I thought it was really cool too. What we realized after a few days of playing was that the characters are not only snarky but down right mean. I'm in shock because my daughter was just called stupid and rude for no apparent reason by one of the characters (Gwen). I've been playing the game with her because I'm very cautious about anything my daughter gets into. I noticed that at any given time, all of the characters can be petty, materialistic, rude and mean. How is this game rated E??? I don't get it. This game is not for kids who's parents teach them manors, respect for themselves and respect for others. Now.........I gave this game one star for fun because other than having to deal with the characters, this game "could" be really great. My rating of one star for overall is based on the fact that I can not ignore the blatant and hostile tone of this game. I will never reccomend
