This player is miles above my last one but not that much higher in cost. I like the look of it, the sound quality is really good and it is very easy to use. My one complaint would be that the headphone jack doesn't seem right. If I use any headphones or speakers other than the Sansa ones that come with it, they don't quite fit. If you push them in all the way, there is no sound, so you have to leave them a little loose in the jack. Even with the Sansa headphones, this is true, except that they fit a little more snuggly and move around a little less. I don't know if this is a defect with my particular player or if this is the case for all of these.

I returned it right away after I opened the package. The head phone connector wasn't working properly. If I plug all the way into the connector, I can't hear anything. I have to pull out a little bit to hear the sound. I've never seen any MP3 player with the same issue.

I just bought this little Sansa Clip, paired it with a DLO Action Jacket and a set of Sennheiser CX-300 earbuds, and now I'm in hog heaven. I couldn't be happier. The unit is small and convenient, the build quality is good, the sound quality is fantastic, and it plays all my purchased Audible audio books. Highly recommended.

I've had a Sansa Clip for about five months now and have generally been happy with it. The sound quality is extremely good on its own, and the custom 5-band EQ makes it sound even better. It's got plenty of power to drive my Creative EP-630 in-ear phones comfortably loud at about 40% of its volume capacity. Considering how tiny the player is, battery life is pretty good--I would estimate 11 to 12 hours under most circumstances. This is a music player only, no video support whatsoever. It doesn't require any proprietary software or equipment to get songs onto it--just drag and drop in Windows Explorer via a standard mini USB cable. Supposedly there's a way to create playlists for it, but I haven't bothered with them. However, I have read elsewhere that the process is not a very intuitive or robust. The only reason I've docked it two stars is because the spring clip on it recently broke. The namesake piece should not be its biggest liability, but it is! The plastic surrounding the
