Love it!

I bought this HD video projector based on the reviews I had read by other customers and the very affordable price. It was a leap of faith because it was not available for viewing in the store(s). Installation was a challenge because of where it had to be placed and where the DVD player was sitting, but I knew that going in. I found out later that choosing a projector is nothing compared to choosing a screen to project it on. Long story short, once I had it up and running it's better than any HD TV flat screen I've ever seen, with this caveat, only in a very dark room. If you aren't prepared to have an in-home theater room dedicated to it, don't go there - you will be disappointed, almost total darkness is a must. As a sidebar, I went ahead and bought a SONY up-scan DVD player at the same time to view my 328 non-Blueray DVDs, which does a fantastic job. In addition, I used a sheet of 4'x8'x1/2" Gatorboard coated in Behr Silver Screen paint (770E-2) with excellent results.

Better than Expected

Only had it for one day, but out of the box it was easy to use and setup. Have played PS3 and watched blu-rays. I dont have a screen yet so just projected a 157 in. pic onto my tan wall and looks great. I cant imagine how good it will look with a projector screen. It is very quiet, and makes virtually no noise. I just wish I had a wall big enough so this thing could reach its potential.. I have a 42inch 1080p 30:000:1 contrast flat pannel TV and I like this projector much better. They both cost about the same, for movies and games this is no question better. This projector has motivated me to redo an entire room in my house to be the Movie/game room.

The picture is clear and crisp no matter what size your projecting. GREAT PRODUCT! IM BLOWN AWAY

The only negative applies to all projectors, the darker the room, the better the picture. Be sure you have a room with lots of room that you can black out on command.

Great Projector

I recently purchased this projector to replace my Mitsubishi HC3000U 720p projector. It took me about 10 minutes to set this projector up on my universal mount and get the picture showing on my 100" screen. I then hooked up the hdmi cable from the projector to my receiver and the sound and picture stopped working about 2 minutes later. I then contacted Denon, since my receiver is a Denon AVR 3806, and they said that there is nothing wrong with the receiver or the projector. My receiver has HDMI 1.1 connections and the projectro has HDMI 1.3 or higher connections. Since knowing what the problem was, set-up was so easy with just connecting the projector to my PS3 and connecting the PS3 to my receiver using the optical cable. I found that the best looking projector pre-setting was "Living". I then purchased Digital Video Essentials: HD Basics on blu-ray disc. After reviewing the reference material, on the disk, I quickly noticed that the settings were almost dead on. I recommend this projector  more

Do not Second Guess This Projector

Over 6 months of looking for the perfect projector. I finally found it in this one. One of the reasons is that I was affraid of letting go of my 50" Plasma and replacing it with a projector and in a bright room to boot. When I bought it, I was really second guessing myself for buying it, I had it professionally installed within no time, When the image was projected for the 1st time on a slightly tan, rough wall and the image was pretty near as good a quality as my plasma! I was so, so, relieved. This projector is installed about 18ft from my 120" HD Mustang screen, in a well lit room, and would put it up against any plasma or HD Quality TV any day, Sunny or Not!!!!!! Definitly a Great Buy.

Affordable and Delivers

Bought this to upgrade my home theatre. I truly believed I would not see much of a difference between my 1080i signal that I had become accustomed too. Man was I wrong. This projector delivers a picture that is great. Sharp and beautiful. This right after I had just upgraded my Technics reciever to the Yamaha. NICE.

I felt like the flee in the television commercial WAOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know I had to re-watch all my Blue Ray movies.
