Can't beat this

This purchase was everything anybody could ask for. The product was as advertised, shipment was prompt, and the price was fair. The Ipod was advertised as "refurbished" but I challenge anybody to see any difference between this Ipod and a new one purchased direct.

this is my first ipod, and i loved it at first. i love listening to and playing music, so it gets used all the time for me. however, the battery life can run out pretty quickly, but thats not really a problem for because i charge it before i go to sleep. also, its very annoying that it has to be plugged in to the computer to be charged. that isnt really a problem if you use your computer while its charging, but you can also get an adapter so it can charge while being plugged into a wall. well thats it laterz

Amazing iPod

This iPod is great, its good for those moving around a lot, it holds its number of songs and videos, as well as photos. The only thing I have noticed is that video watching takes out the battery in record time. But overall, its great.

This is my favorite kind of device.It's so easy to use.I also love the colors.Fits about everywhere (pockets,purses,handbags,etc..) I just love mine.Mine is blue.So cool.

I adore this iPod!!!

I love this nano better than the last years 3rd generation nano that I had.

I listen to music like 24/7 so I love the fact that I can listen to music while I'm charging it on the computer. It use to annoy me how you would have to wait after one song ends and then the new song begins. With the new nano I don't have to wait; while one song is ending the new song is starting (just like the radio but without the commercials).

The only down side to this iPod is the battery life when playing games or watching a video.

Other than that it's the best nano Apple has made...yet. So if you are wondering if you should buy it or not, go for it becase it's clearly the best iPod nano out there for now.

This is an ipo i would reccomend to friends. if you charge up your ipod and let it drain all the way down a couple times you should have maximum battery life

Great iPod

I got this iPod for my birthday. I have downloaded many songs on it, including two movies, and it still has a ton of room on it. It is real easy to set a limit on somthing (such as volume) and then forget how to change it back if you want, but within a few minutes, you can easily figure out how to change it back. This makes you feel good about yourself. However, on the fifth day I had this iPod, I accidentally slid it across a table and the Apple sign on the back scratched and smeared. This is the only thing I found negative about this product.

I love my ipod

I love my ipod. it has lots of feachres. Wen I got it on 5/30/09 i started to chargaing my batery it froze on me andd i got realy scared. But I called Best Buy and they saild that you had to pres and holed the menc buton and the midlle butonand it was just fine. I love to use it when i am mowing.
My ipod soundes grate. the headfones that comes with it are grate. Would i recommend this to a friend? YES! YES! YES!

Great MP3 Player

The Nano is a great MP3 player, but the screen is too small for any kind of video. Also, using iTunes is limiting. I had an iPod Shuffle, and dropping MP3's was a snap to drag and drop. For some reason, the Nano using iTunes, will not allow me to do this from my Music Library.

Disappointed

I am disappointed with the length of time that this Nano holds a charge. I have a shuffle that I run with for an hour a day 5 days a week and only have to charge it once a week. The battery on the Nano gives out after about 3 hours of play. I wonder if I was sent a defective product

It Just Gets Better

Some of the new iTunes features--Genius and Cover Flow, especially--are annoying glitz, but this Nano is as elegant and useful as I expect all things Apple to be.

Ipod Nano Awesome!

I had the ipod nano 4th gen for about 6-7 months and I loved it! It was easy to navigate and the cover flow is really cool too! The only thing I was a little worried was that sometimes when we dont use your ipod nano for a couple of weeks it would have no battery. It isnt really a problem though because you can charge it on the usb they gave you really fast.You rarely even have to charge it. It only takes like 10 mins to charge. I wanted a outlet charger but its sold separately. Overall this is a great ipod nano maybe the best one yet. The screen is bigger and better! The software for the ipod nano is awesome too!

Awesome MP3

Bought this Nano for my 10 yr old daughter's birthday. She was up and running within minutes and asking for more songs and videos. After watching me on ITunes for just a few minutes, she taken over. Battery duration, audio and video quality are great!

Ipod nano review

I got my Ipod around Thanksgiving and it's still working well.

The only problem is the short battery life, I charged it yesterday and and one day later there was 60% of the battery life left, and I only played 4 songs that were 3 minutes long.

I would recomend this Ipod for people that listen to music about 1 time a day.

Other than the battery life it is a great Ipod!☺

awesome , i bought the ipod nano 2nd gen a long time ago so i figured i get this one and it was great i love the widescreen for videos and photos . love the geinus program and cover flow. when you walk and you have the shake to shuffle thing on and when u run it kepp changing the song, best ipod choice for someone who wants cheap and a great value.

Great iPod!

I used my christmas money on this and I like it alot it's very awesome! It's a great price. The only thing that I dislike about it is that when I have it on and I listen to two or three songs the charge drains like instantly... But I like the larger screen. (My sister has the last version of the nano) <-- don't really like it as much...

Excellente Mp3 Player but a little overpriced

This mp3 player is very thin and pretty to look at thats for sure , but it also performs well on almost everything , the videos look very good , the Genius Playlist is very fun , the games are a good plus and the battery life its great . but the sound quality and the price are the only two things keeping this one from reaching a higher rating rating for me , Music just doesnt sound as full and clear as with the A816 or the sansa clip (using same headphones) and also i feel its very expensive for what you are getting (specially comparing it against the a816 wich i bought for my wife for 80 bucks and has all the same features as this Ipod sans the genius playlist ) other than that this is a very good Ipod and also a back on track for apple after the horrible design of last gens Nano .

Overall this Player gets a 9.1 in my book

Quick and easy

I was looking to upgrade my children's Ipod shuffle for Christmas. After researching I found this to be the best price and they came after only a few days. So far the Ipods have worked wonderfully and are easy to use. My children can charge and download songs all on their own.

This is an awesome MP3 player. Keep wondering how they designed it. You can't see a single hint how this is assembled.

Great for music

I got this for my birthday and I love it. It is a easy to use Ipod but the battery life sucks for me because I play the games on it and it only last me like 4 hours. I have 801 songs on it, 4 movies, and 44 pics on it and its only on half full.

iPod Nano ROCKS!

The teen in the house saved up and finally purchased (through me) her very own iPod. She loves it. The price was great, shipping was timely, and the transaction was a pleasant experience. Her only complaint is the 'shuffle' feature. She doesn't like the song changing when she accidentally bumps the iPod. Other than that one thing...it's great.

WANT ONE

Oh how I would love to have a i-Pod. I can't really tell anything about it sentce I don't have one, I went in a Best buy store with my dad. It was super fun. I played a lot of games. And I played with the orange i Pod nano, classic, and touch. It was awsome!

Love the 4G Nano

Love it. Very easy to use. Sound quality is very good. Very easy to find songs and playlists. Also syncs very fast from my iMac. Wish I could sync between my iMac and XP laptop to the Nano. but understand why it can't be done. Glad I bought an Apple product, as I much prefer my Mac to a PC, and most mp3 players will not work with a Mac. Only complaint I have with the iPod Nano isn't with the unit itself...the included earbuds I find very uncomfortable after about 10 or 15 minutes...they seem to be a little too large and are hard plastic. Easily remedied by purchasing new earbuds, though. iTunes is very easy to use as well, and again, syncs very quickly when running on a Mac...don't know how fast it syncs when running in Vista or XP. BTW, the service from PC Connection/Mac Connection is wonderful. I ordered my iPod online on a Friday night, and my Nano was on my doorstep Tuesday afternoon. No hassles, free shipping, and a lower price than anywhere else!

Some nice improvements

This version of ipod is really nice. The album view when you turn it on it's side is a neat feature. I also like the shake to shuffle feature. 8GB holds my entire music library too! I upgraded from a shuffle to this and have really been pleased.

iPod Chromatioc- SWEET!

I got my iPod Chromatic for my bday and i love it! But it has really short battery life, and its weird because my friend has that same one and she gets a much longer battery life than me. Otherwise, i absolutely LOVE this iPod!!! its the best!!!!! ♥♥♥

ipod nano 8 gb 4th gen

This is my first apple product and I am very impressed with the quality of construction, the thinness, design etc. Where the product has shortcomings however is in the software interface. The itunes software is slow to boot up and transferring songs to itunes is not as intuitive as it should be. It also seems that any pre-installed music library is copied again rather than using the original mp3 files. getting album artwork is also a chore and is much easier in windows media player. overall however, once you have the songs and movies onto the player it is exceptional. I have heard many complain that the earbuds that come with the player are lousy, but my wife and I are ok with them. One other thing is that there is no charger included with the player. They only send you the bare minimum to have the player work, but you end up buying a ton of accessories which makes your outlay for the player much higher at the end of the day.

Coolest iPod Ever

some times the iPod lock up and doesnt play the song so you just reset it by Menu and the center botton for about 7-9 seconds. but other wise it's great i holds pictures, videos, (of any kind Music videos, movies etc.) music, podcast, hold contacts, and other cool stuff!!!!

My kid LOVES it!

I got this for my daughter. She LOVES it! She easily got all of her songs from her old non-video ipod to this new one and is playing her songs and working on getting her favorite photos on it. She already rented a movie and loaded it to the nano and then played it using the Apple cable we bought from pc connection. She's very happy with it and loves the shuffle capability and the video.

Great!

The Ipod Nano is great! You can play games, watch movies and t.v shows and of course listen to music. The only bad thing is that it has short battery life, I had a full battery but after I watched a movie the battery was depleted.

Way better then the old nano!!

The new nano is way better than the first nano! It has a bigger screen and can play music videos and movies unlike the first one. If you are a jogger or someone that is going to use their i-pod for physical activities, buy the nano. It is very lightweight. My sister loves this i-pod and she enjoys having it.

What a Great Buy!!!

This was on of the greatest things I have ever got from Best Buy!! It has a great memory and I have used I everywhere I go. The down side is that the battery lasts sbout 4-5 hours which is good but not so good for long car trips. I also suggest a heavy duty case to put it in because the ipod gets scratched easliy.

My 1st iPod

when i got this iPod i was so excited and still am. this is a great iPod. the shake to shuffle feature responds after SEVERAL attempts, and same with the sideways feature. the battery life is VERY short.
but on the plus side it fits in your pocket very easily because of the small size to some people could be a good or bad thing, another good thing is the variety of available colors. i would highly recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE THIS IPOD NANO it is the best in the world its sooo cool! I got it on september 26 2008 with my birthday money and if you or you have a kid or have a grandchild thats like 8 or above Get them this for the holiday get it trust me they WILL love it because I am a kid and i love it!!! IT IS THE BEST because you can shake it and it will chance the song and you can play games and turn the screen sideways its so cool it has very good sound quaitly and doesn't scratch easy and i dropped it like 10 times and it doesn't have any scratches and still works wonderfully and i use it on the bus it just is a wonderful present to get your child or grandchild for Christmas or any other holiday if they are 6 i wouldn't suggest getting it because they may break it even though it is VERY durable it can with stand almost anything but i have a clear case for it and i got it scratched

i loved it!

Okay i just got this like last week for my birthday and i BEGGED my dad for this! i got it :) when i first got it, it froze every two seconds! later on, it got betttter. the shaking shuffle thing is kind of annoying because when i'm like dancing to the song, it changes the song. and i get really angry. overall, it was cute! LOVE THE COLOR!!

Best iPod I have owned

I really like this product. The maze game is really fun cause you can tilt the iPod different ways. This is my fourth iPod and its my favorite one. All the other iPods got destroyed. The other iPod I own now is also the iPod 30gb. I carry that one with me all the time because it has all my music. The only negative about this iPod is the accelerometer. The shake to shuffle kills battery life quickly and you have to shake it a lot to get it to work. No big deal though. And the cover flow works good but sometimes, rarely it stays in the wide screen way when i tilt it back to normal. That is rare though. Overall its the best iPod I have owned. Screen won't scratch what-so-ever.

The nano ipod is amazing i can download and add tons of music that i love and it wasn't expensive.It's very very easy to use. all around it works great and i absoultly love it.Don't know what i would do without it!

Very nice design

This is a great ipod. It has very clear sounding music. This ipod has a very clear picture that has all of the colors needed to make a beautiful display. One thing that i love about this ipod is if you turn it, the screen will turn it the motion of the ipod. Overall this is one of the nicer ipods that i have ever seen.

Nice Ipod

Bought this ipod for my son and he loves it. I put movies on it and it flips the picture. Really cool feature. I put 2 movies on and it has plenty of room for music. Overall a great ipod. We have had no problems with it locking up. I have the 4gb nano and it has never locked up on me either. Nice ipod. I just wish they didn't have to cost so much.

I love the NEW! iPod® nano 8GB* MP3 Player - Blue. I especially love the color choices now. I bought it for my daugters 18th birthday and she loves it. I just wish it was a bit bigger, I am afraid I will drop it but this is just a very minor concern. The only reason I give it a 4 on ease of use is because I am still learning to use it.

I love my new i pod, i had a regular mp3 player and this i pod is much easier and faster to use. I would definitely reccomend this, i use it to work out, clean the house and hook it up in my car. when i first baught this i was so excited because i finally can take my music with me again and im the 1st in my area to have one.but then.........i was playin it and it just locks up!i tried everything but nothing would happend so i took it in and got a new one.the features are pretty decent except one its more like a funny joke or a tool to show off.the shake to shuffle feature.it gets annoying and its just so pointless because it kills you battery. O i forgot its edges are sharp.they can scratch.other than that its super slim itl fint pretty comfortably and extremely light so it feals good on your palm.

Highly Recommend

I was originally going to buy the 4GB Ipod mini, then i saw the new 8GB nana-chromatic Ipods and it was the same price. I liked the color better since blue is my favorite color. I like how you can Shake the nano to shuffle the songs, and when you play games such as the maze game you can move the nano the way you want the ball in the maze to go. it is so much fun. it is the best one yet!!!

First time I feel apple has a bad design

In an attempt to keep the product looking and feeling small, they have curved the case of the new nano. This has resulted in a curved surface for the screen. If there is a direct light source, it is hard to angle the unit in order to view the whole screen without glare.

Impressive!

I wanted a nano after selling my iPod a couple of months ago. I didn't use my iPod because I had an iPhone. But sometimes using my iPhone as an iPod for long periods of the day would drain my battery and I didn't want that happening. So i seeked out for a new iPod Nano. Cheaper and smaller was what drew me to the nano. I looked all over to maybe get a good deal on it but decided that I should wait. A couple of weeks later the new nano comes out and WOW. Have you seen the new features? Wow. Apple has almost out done itself. The new design and features are just what blew me away and I had to get one.

I would highly recommend this newly designed iPod Nano. i have the blue one and it's just so cool looking. Love the free games that come with it and everything about it.

Maybe after a few weeks I can have bad things to say about it, but until then...I LOVE IT!

i love this little thing

oh i love this i just got one yesterday and its soo cool. the shake to shuffle is awesome but if your gonna toss it somewhere like i usually toss mine on my bed you better have hold on or it will go to a new song. one thing i love about this is genius which is a feature that well you can listen to a song and press genius and it will choose songs that go well with it. i love this cause they do a really good job with it. and you can save the playlists and when you plug it into your computer it adds the playlist. but if you plan on getting one download itunes 8 first cause i wanted to plug it in right away and put some music on it but i had to download itunes 8 first. it comes with 3 games one is solitaire, one it called vortex and one is maze. maze it the coolest cause it uses the accelerometer and you tilt you screen to go the way you want the little ball to go its like an actual maze. the only problem i had with it at first was it was hard tho shake to shuffle. like if you go on the apple  more

This i pod is a great buy. This is the best priced ipod there is. It is trully underpriced. This revolutionary mp3 player has sensors like some cell phones. These sensors sense when you move the ipod, and it does certain things. If you shake it it will shuffle your songs. You can turn it on it's side to watch movies or simple look through artists. This i pod is incredidble.

Great Colors & Brand New Features

I'm always skeptical if they can improve the next iPod. I just got the brand new iPod Nano 4th generation. It's quite the impressive device. The thinness blows my mind.

COOL NEW FEATURES - This new generation iPod Nano features accelerometers like had been in the iPhones and iPod Touch. This sensor knows when you rotate the device sideways, so that cover flow view appears automatically. Brilliant! Furthermore, if you want to change up what you're listening to, just shake the device. Some games will also use the accelerometer.

The new Genius feature is also great. Select a song, and then tell the iPod you want to use the Genius feature. It will find songs in your collection similar and create a playlist to suit the mood you're in. You'll be amazed by what it finds!

The way they curve the metal and glass is so incredibly impressive, when you see the device in person. Next, the device has a very solid feel to it, and the colors are gorgeous, all of them.

New Features Help to Keep Nano Fresh

The iPod Nano has again been updated and improved, with some very nice new features. I was able to pick up a new Nano and a new iPod Touch at the Apple Store.

Accelerometer Built-In - The new iPod Nano has built in accelerometers like the iPhone and iPod Touch. This allows you to enter "cover-flow," browsing by simple rotating the Nano to the left or right. No longer do you have to navigate through menus to get to cover-flow, just flip the shuffle.

The accelerometer also allows you to "shake to shuffle," which means if you give the nano a strong shake back and forth, it will go to another track and shuffle your mix. However, it does take a fairly significant shake, so running should not trigger this feature, which made me happy. Fun feature. I keep wanting to do this though, so I never get through an entire song. ha.

Some games in the future, for the Nano may also take advantage of the accelerometer according to Apple.
