Bought this for my 13 year old son. He LOVES it...especially the part about being able to get on the internet thru our computer's wireless signal. It's the best gift he's gotten since his cell phone (according to him).

I bought my Girlfriend one for her birthday and she loves it. Because of this I love it too she is nice and quite during sports. If we go out and watch the game she takes it along (I make sure the place has WYFY) and she just messes with it the whole time.

The ipod touch 2G is amazing, it can do almost everything that an computer or laptop can do but much more portable and convenient. I like: -Great size (its so small) -Durable -Enough battery life -Decent sound quality -Speaker (its not too loud, but loud enough to hear) -App Store (Its like a buffet, but for apps) -Bright Screen -Responsive touch screen (the screen is great, it can get fingerprints) -Multimedia powerhouse (Music, videos, internet, games, email,etc..) -Wifi (internet, yay!) -Bluetooth (peer to peer gaming) -Stylish (looks sexy) -Addicting (its too addicting, I take it everywhere, and use it everyday) -Accelerometer (out of this world experiences) I don't like: -Back of the ipod (its so vulnerable to scratches) -ipod heats up fast (I use it in long increments, it gets hot sometimes, it literally heats up) -Price (its still pretty expensive honestly) What is it missing? : 1. Like everyone else, I was very skeptical about the refurbished thing, but I ordered one for my future hubby. We recieved it, and couldn't believe how new it looked! I couldn't even tell that it was refurbished in any way. It works great, and he can never put it down. Even around the house! He keeps loading games and apps and just play for hours.In fact, he was so into it, that it got me jealous and I wanted one! So I just ordered another one, but the 16g one. Hope it turns out just as great as my hubby's! We shall see!

This ipod is wonderful i have had mine 2 weeks and i love yes it gets scratches easy but so does a phone spend 10$ and that wnt happen i love my ipod and if ur lookn for a good one get the ipod touch

Why is Apple shipping its Newest Model of iPod Touch with an old version of its OS and then charging $10 for an OS upgrade? I have not seen that money making practice in any other part of the computer industry.

This is my 3rd ipod and it is the best. There are apps for everything under the sun. The screen is amazingly clear and the browser is fast. I gave the price a 4 because the 3.0 firmware is 10 dollars and I think it should 215 instead of 250. The durability is 3 stars because that shiny back that looks gorgeous will never look the same after 1 hour. It is very easy to use and has great features. The battery will last longer if you go to settings and turn the wifi off. The back problem can easily be solved with a 20 dollar case. I would suggest you buy screen protectors with it and you will be good to go. One more thing, no matter what anyone tells you, DO NOT JAILBREAK YOUR IPOD.

The iTouch is really good to get. I recommend it. Very user friendly, great Apps to use. Theres almost an App for everything! Hahaha. Great quality when it comes to sound, picture, and Internet speed. Great design. Its just something that whenever you look at it you'll say, "I'm really glad I got that". So overall, a pretty tight thing to get a very reasonable price.

I have had my ipod touch for 3 month's now & I Absoultly LOVE it. I have the 8GB with TONES of music on it. I also have a car stereo that iz Ipod Ready. Wut More can U ask for out of a MUSIC PLAYER? I would recomend the Ipod Touch to ANYone who wants to rid themselves of using CD's in your car or home. I now plan to get an Iphone az well.

Creo que una de las mejores cosas que se me pudo ocurrir fue cuando decidí cambiar mi ipod clasic de 30Gb por el touch de 2a generación. ciento que el cambio entre los aparatos fue abismal, ya que paso de ser un simple aunque mas elegante reproductor de MP3 a un portal de acceso con el mundo exterior. Hoy puedo decir que el 60% del tiempo empleo mi ipod en aplicaciones de uso practico y no solo para escuchar musica. las aplicaciones son muy diversas y fantasticas, y a decir verdad muy utiles si sabes bien lo que necesitas. Que creo que deben mejorar, bueno, creo que algo que extraña mucho y a decir verdad molesta, es el hecho que no se puedan reproducir animaciones flash, ya que esto limita enormemente la navecion en internet y ademas, siento que le falta una camara digital. lo cual espero ver en las proximas versiones. I have had the iTouch for 3 months and i don't go any where with out. Its easy to figure out how to work and the features and apps are great. Yes the back scratches easily but you can pick up a simple case for like $10.

I bought an Ipod Touch for my wife's birthday and made the mistake of buying from the Apple store. I challenge anyone to look through their website to discover what OS they ship versus the upgrade to 3.0 button on the pages. Nowhere does it say what it is. Apparently if you're an Apple fanboy you know that upgrades occur only in September but they decline to state that anywhere and my life doesn't revolve around knowing such errata. $10 is lunch money but the principle is absolutely wrong. Having been in the software industry for 20+ years I was shocked at the lack of customer service. Especially on a software upgrade that's been out two months and has virtually no cost to Apple on a new product. It's the most arrogant chicken***t I've ever seen. The excuses from their support were silly. I understand that they have units on the shelf at 2.0 but is it that hard to give an update code or figure it out at registration? It's simple greed & arrogance at such a penny-ante level that I'm forgetting

this is a great ipod and it's really fun! every thing about it is great. exept it has a short battery life and the back scratches easily but you can always get a case for it. it is my favorite out of all the ipods i've had!

Overall it's a very nice product. I purchased it as a birthday gift for my girlfriend. She really likes it but the thing that cheesed me was the "Newest Model." As soon as we downloaded iTunes, we got a nice pop-up that said for only $20 or so we could update to the latest iPod Software Version. Go figure, when a company figures out how to make you pay them twice for something that's supposedly the latest thing, they've got it licked. I guess their is some grey area between newest model and latest version.

When my iPod touch arrived it was locked and I had to call apple to find out what to do. Other than that everything works and looks like new! So easy to figure out everything! I didn't even know all the features it had till I got it! I totally recommend this only if you have to have the iPod touch, otherwise I would just go with a standard one for the cheaper price.

This is the best ipod EVER.All the app's are fun and sometimes helpfull.It does die somewhat fast and if you drop it on metal it dents easly.But it is definetly worth buying

I ordered this product kinda skeptical of how good it would work or if there would be any damage on it since I got it refurbished. I pulled it out of the box and it looked brand new! I got everything I needed for it except for the manual because its refurbished, but its not that hard to figure out how it works and if you need help go to apple.com. It works great! The picture on it is so awesome and the sound is fantastic! I absolutely love this product!

I got this with my birthday money a couple of months ago. I though it was gonna be the best thing out, which it was. But you can't use Windows Media player, which kinda sucks. Only iTunes. The battery life goes by very quick, even without the Wi-Fi on. It has really great sound to it, even without the headphones. Plus, it doesn't fit into your pockets. It's too big for me, plus I have small hands.

I purchased a refurbished iTouch from Overstock. The devise is wonderful in terms of his functionality. Ordering was easy, and shipping was prompt. I was, however, very disappointed with the condition the device arrived in. There are 20 or 30 small blemishes or bubbles under the glass surface. While everything still works good, I would not call this unit a refurbished unit. It is either defective or used. Nothing about this was mentioned in the item description prior to ordering.

Love this iPod Touch!! I heard about the it from a friend- she liked her refurbished iPod Touch so much (and wouldn't stop talking about it) that I just had to get one too. The price was terrific and I cannot even tell that it has been refurbished!! I use it mostly for an iPod but love the other features too-- it's very user friendly and easy to use!! The screen is great and overall it was an amazing bargain!! I could not live without my iPod and now I cannot live without my iPod Touch!I would absolutely recommend this to anyone!!

Great product. The iPod Touch is everything I hoped for. As for the 8GB size, it has been perfect. I haven't really used it for watching movies, so the space hasn't been an issue. I would recommend the 16GB if you plan on using it for video. But, for apps and music, 8GB seems to be enough for me. My only disappointment was that it did not ship with the OS 3.0 software.

I have the IPod Nano and want to upgrade to the IPod touch so bad! My sister and 5 of my friends have it and it has great apps and you don't need headphones or speakers!

I purchased this refurbished touch screen ipod for my teenager who doesn't really care about the refurbished look. The device has minor scratches on the back but the screen was perfectly clear. I'm not an expert but even I could work the device and connect to the internet. This was an awesome deal for the money

When the first ipod touch came out i always wanted one and i waited until i could work and purchase it , this ipod touch was already released and i have to say its way better than any other ipod (not iphone) out right now . video quality is great . i love watching movies in the big screen and audio quality is good too its not perfect but its good . its definitly the funnest ipod ever (for now) if your looking for a cheap good ipod this is the one to choose

This thing was perfect for a trip to London. The boingo wireless was everywhere and the monthly subscription is cheap. I used it to pinpoint our location, get directions, check subway maps, send email, make reservations, and most importantly make skype calls! The skype calling alone almost paid for this thing. Even some residential areas of London have wifi everywhere. I could use google maps and streetview to see what we were looking for. If you go on a trip to Europe and especially England, you got to get one of these!

the ipod touch is the best ipod ever.i have the 8gb model and it works fine. but the battery life should be extended because the battery life on this model ran out fast when in alot of use.but other than that,it works fine.

I've had my ipod for 6 months now and couldn't be happier with it. I'm just now beginning to realize all the great apps there are. I love all the features. I use the alarm clock every day, instead of my iHome, right there you can save some money. It's basically the iphone without the phone and camera. You can use the Skype app to talk with other people who use Skype, if you buy Apple's mic headphones, which I use and are great($[...]). There are also apps to text for free, so you can basically have the iphone without the camera, pretty good if you ask me. Wi-fi is easy to catch, music on built-in speaker sounds good, videos are crisp, youtube loads fast, compact but big screen, thin, just really overall a great and easy-to-use piece of technology for any age person.

I've had my iPod for quite a while and I must say that buying it was one of the smartest decisions of my life. I love the touch screen, watching movies on the iPod touch makes it seem like watching television and not looking on a small box.
It has a good amount of space and I haven't run out yet. The Safari app is very handy and the Mail makes it so easy to manage email. There are so many possibilities on the iPod touch and are too many to list. It has dropped on several occasions on various surfaces (tile, cement, wood) and is still working.
I love this product and you will too.

The ipod touch is awesome! It has everything you need and it is so easy to use. This is one of my few electronics I use every day. the best part is all the apps you can get on it. There's an app for about everything! For an example, I went to some national parks, so i looked up national parks in the app store. i found an app for the exact thing i needed. I love the Ipod touch!

Even though I don't have one my friend has one and it is great. The touchscreen is wonderful it is just like an iphone. I would really want one but i don't have the money to get one yet. This item is on my wish list. I would recommend this to a friend.

this is an amazing ipod. i got it a few months ago and its done great for me. the biggest problem i have is that it smudges really easy. i still love it though because it comes with a cleaning sheet. if your hands are not sweaty (they can be dry or you can wash your hands a little water doesnt do anything). haha be prepared for people to try to touch it. the battery life isnt the best when your playing apps but for just music its excellet. i love it.

Excellent Apple product... light years ahead of any other mp3 players. 2nd generation Ipod makes notable improvements in size, appearance. 3.0 update has some benefits (e.g. landscape keyboard), but I would wait until it is free.

I updgraded from a Nano to the Touch and absolutely love it! Not wanting to pay all of the fees to enjoy the IPhone's features, this was a great buy! Minus the phone features, this has most all of the features you could want in an IPhone and is incredibly easy to use! As long as you are near a WiFi, you are good to go. The games are fun, and the audio is great. Watching HD movies, etc is really cool with the screen swiveling to the side when you turn the IPod.

i wanted an itouch for so long and finally got it i really love it keeps me entertained is pretty much connected to my hip:) the wi-fi is good at times and the apps/itunes store is convient. the games are really cool and i love the fact that on some of the games the moves you make while playing(ex:rolling dice) happen on the screen

This Ipod is the best Ipod i have ever owned, it has given me absolutely no trouble at all. It is very easy to use and is great for any student. The best part about this Ipod is the apps you can download for it, they are very easy to download and you can also throw them away if you don't want them anymore. I would definitely recommend this Ipod to anyone, it is completely worth every penny.

I got the touch but the battery only lasts like an hour and a half, and i hate turning my computer on to charge it so that is a down side. Also now the iPhone is cheaper than the touch, it's ridiculous!

Nothing but great things came from this ipod. I would not give it up for anything. The availability to put all your music and videos and pictures in this simple product. It is easy to access email, myspace, facebook, youtube and i just feel this is one of the best products i've ever owned and it has convinced me to get a iphone.

This Ipod touch is well worth the money. I have the 8 gb 2nd generation Ipod touch and it goes everywhere with me. Not only does it have music, you can add applications, go online (where there's wifi) and watch movies/tv shows. The battery life is also pretty good too. Awesome product! in this case you do pay for that you get.

My dad got this iPod for me as a gift last month for completing the 9th grade and I thought to myself, "This is the coolest iPod ever made." Haven't had a working iPod since last February when my nano broke. When I started experiencing with it I realized that it was worth the $214! I would definitely reccommend this to a friend or a family member!

Well first of all I dont think you get your money's worth when you buy the product. It says you get 8GB, but when you download the software it takes up 1GB. Even in the settings it says the iPod only has 7GB available. Aside from that it always freezes up. The screen just whites out unexpectedly and I've only had it for about a month. I've had to restore it twice already. It also scrathes easily. The metal back is useless, plastic would have been more durable. It has many problems but overall its an okay product. It gets the job done. You can hear your music as well as play games on apps. Or use the internet. But i suggest getting the iPhone because there is no piont in having an iPod and cell phone, when you can just have it all in one.

The touch screen is really good, unlike many other touchscreen products out there. There are hundreds of applications to choose from, such as games, utilities, weather devices, and more. However, when you use apps, they tend to kill the battery pretty quick. The sound quality is great.

I won't duplicate many of the other reviewer's excellent comments and will keep this short so I can relate what I like best about the iPod Touch. Other than listening to music, the other major reason I bought this was to use it to make phone calls using Skype. If you have a wireless connection you can make phone calls to anyone using Skype. Computer to computer is free, and calls to regular phones are about 2 cents a minute in the USA. To use this feature you will need earphones with a microphone and software version 3.0. Other useful features using the wireless connection are stock quotes, weather forecasts, maps, and the web browser. I've already found the Maps feature very useful to find several addresses. Everyone has different needs, but I recommend the iPod Touch because it does everything I expected and more. I also bought the DLO HipCase Leather Folio Case for iPod touch 1G and 2G (Black). It provides excellent protection and is very well made.

I have previously purchased 2 New iPods and loved them. I wanted to get one more for one of our younger children. I decided to try Overstock's Refurb. If I didn't know better, there would be no way to tell that this was a refurb unit. It was perfect. The contents it's packed with do differ from new: ->Did not come in the Apple hard, plastic, clear box (packed adequately for shipping, not presentation) ->The USB connector was a 3rd party replacement (new) ->No documentation. For my purposes, these differences did not matter as much as the actual unit's condition...which was great!

I love my iPod. It can do so many things that I barely use my computer anymore, except for writing. It does everything that amazon says it does, plus a whole lot more. However, I wouldn't recomend this if all you would be doing with it is listening to music. I know it's an mp3 player, but its to expensive if you're only going to use it for music (nothing's wrong with the music). I wouldn't get it if you don't have wifi either, as about seventy percent of what it can do is based of wifi (browsing, some of the games, email, texting, and app/movies/music downloads. Also its not as delicate as I thought. I dropped it from about three or four feet onto linolium and it was fine. I also got a little water on it and it blacked out for a while but I reset it and it worked again. Pros Music is great. The sound is good, and its really easy to find the song I'm looking for. The touch screen it really sensitive and it doesn't get to many smudges. The accelometer is much better than I expected.

This mp3 player is simply not just an mp3 player. it can download all the best games and music right from the itunes store on the device, itcan connect to the internet so you can check email and do watever, and ofcourse you can forget about the 3.5 inch lcd multi touch touch screen. this ipod dilivers the purist music quality and stunning hd video all in a slim compact device.

What I love about the iTouch is its versatility. I use it to sync my calendar and contacts, play Pandora radio, and do a number of other tasks such as read emal, get news alerts, check the weather (when I'm near WiFi) look up words, keep up with my workouts, read books, play games and of course do all those other things that you do on an iPod such as watch videos and podcasts, view photos and download music. I can even surf the Web with the Safari browser or go to a link from an email.
It's the closest you'll ever come to getting that iPhone experience without having to change your wireless service plan. It's probably got the most responsive and easiest to use touch screens of any touch media player and the possibilities for adding new features are endless.
But, the bottom line is that ultimately it is a media player. And, in that regard, it is a bit of a disappointment. Sure, video playback is stellar on its crisp, wide screen. Its 3D Graphics are incredible and the speakers

I was impressed w/the cost of the refurbished ipod touch. It was a gift, so I dont know personally how it compares to buying it brand new, but from what I've heard from the gift recipient, it works perfectly. I highly recommend going this route instead of paying the full price. Also, shipping was fairly quick.

Besides of been easy to use its fun at the sametime. The durability it just amazing. I love the portability and wifi capability you can connect to the internet and easy and fast. Battery life its great for music functions but not for videos or other demanding battery use things... but other than I LOVE IT!! Lyrics on music, pictures albums, contacts pics and alphabetic order. Calendar and alarm great for daily use.

I love my iTouch so much! I've had it for almost a year now and I never get tired of it. I take it pretty much everywhere I go. Its great when you are in boing situations because you can play games, look at your pictures, watch movies, write to do list, look at your email. It basically does it all, I barely use my computer anymore because my iTouch is so much more convienant. I just wish I had the internet all the time, but its good that it connects to wifi because i have wifi at my house and school. The only downfall is it sometimes randomly freezes and doesn't respond well when trying to type something when ur hands aren't the hottest, but once you restart it both of these problems go away. All in all i love it.

This is a great investment ! This Ipod does everything for you! It has email, internet (safari) , video, music of course, a large vibrant touch screen, and if you upgrade to the Iphone OS 3.0 version you will even have stero bluetooth( note the upgrade cost $9.99 from the itunes store. The only bad thing about this item is that you wont have accses to data features when your not connected to wifi. If your a busy person who likes alot of options this is the Ipod for you!

I was very excited to purchase my Ipod touch and really loved all the features. It really does do everything. I even purchased the Nike + for it and with an arm band, and silicone case, used to it work out. About 4 months after purchase, the on/off button stopped resonding, then the wi-fi stopped working, then my Nike + was not recognized. I called Apple and they promptly sent me a box to ship it back to them for repair. I was advised by Apple the next day that my Ipod had water damage?? And it was being shipped back to me unrepaired as this was not covered by their warranty. I never got the thing wet! I never took it in the rain! The only thing I can think of was sweat from when I worked out and/or humidity. I did a little research on line and found out that the water sensor can be tripped very easily by both humidity and as little as a speck of water, rendering your ipod full of problems. You would think that since this Ipod has the built in Nike+ feature and is suppose to be great

I bought this iPod last fall when it came out and so far i am pretty happy with it, there are just a few flaws to the physical design. Such as the way that the stainless steel backing is attached to the glass screen on the front. The design is like a dust target, my whole screen is covered in dust under the glass its self. But besides this issue i am very happy with this all around portable device, no other problems so far.

The main feature behind would be the touch interface, great way to swiftly navigate your music library, quickly check up on the web and visit your favorite websites or just check your email.

The iPod Touch 32GB (2nd Generation) is most enjoyable. I bought it to have my favorite music convenient for my use. I have also added Kindle books, books from Olive Tree, and books from Laridian. I am reading and studying much more since the information is readily available. The Book of Common Prayer, several translations of the Bible, and Bible commentaries are also on my iPod Touch. This iPod Touch is my constant companion.

This ipod is the best. i use it all the time next to my iphone. the screen is amazing your fingers just slide over it like nothing. your fingers don't get jammed on the screen. the functions are cool, the calendar,myspace.youtube etc. the grip it feels real ice n your hands. the new look it has a contour design. overall the look is perfect the slim, contour, chrome look. if i where you i'll get one the price is not that bad.

I HONESTLY NOW DONT SEE A POINT AND GETTING THE IPHONE IF YOU HAVE A IPOD TOUCH AND A LG DARE LIKE ME. I HAVE ALL THE FEATURES THE IPHONE CAN DO EXCEPT FOR THE PHONE BEING BROKEN UP INTO TWO ELECTRONICS. THEIR IS NO POINT. BEST IPOD OR MP3 PLAYER I EVER OWNED.

The Ipod touch is a great product, if you have money. One of the biggest downsides to it is that it costs $230. All though its features are worth the amount, it still can be costly. Other than that, it is easy to use and learn how to use, and the battery life is pretty good.

I just got the iPod Touch yesterday.
My girlfriend just got one recently and I started to play with it a lot and found it to be very fun and I wanted one so bad. It was exactly what I expected and what the website said it would be and more.
The applications are great, the durability, battery life, everything.

It is so easy to use in every way. my parent who have no idea how to use electronics and they use it as if they have had it for years. so many apps to use next best thing to the iPhone.

I've had an iPod touch for about a year now and have owned previous ipods. So far nothing has beat the ipod touch!!! The display is awesome and sooo many great features! The app store on it is awesome and you can buy music on it while on the go! It has great battery life and you can do so much on it! Go on the internet, watch movies, tv shows, play games, go on youtube, watch music videos, listen to music, google maps, calculator, apps and much much much more!!! YOU HAVE TO BUY ONE!!

I have been using mine for about a year now, and I still love. I think it is the best music device ever made. I use it almost half of my day, and it is really easy to use. Typically, devices like these do get some glitches and stuff like that, but that's all to be expected. I got like 1 or 2 glitches since I got it, but maybe it was my fault. But it was nothing to panic about. This is a very ideal product for all music loves, and I wish they would lower the price, so that everyone can get it!

This is the best ipod ever. I love the touch screen and the app store. It is just amazing. The only things i hate about this ipod are the headphones and the back cover material. The headphones are cheap and break really easily and also hurt my ears. Apple should create better headphones to come with it. Also apple has never changed the material on the back of the ipod since the first ipod made and i HATE IT. Simply touching the back will scratch and just after a month your ipod will look trashed. I dont understand why they keep putting this back on the ipods. I think they should change it to the material of the ipod nanos because those are much more durable. However overall i have to say this was a very well made ipod.

I was using a old Creative Zen mp3 player before purchasing this. I expected it to be great but i was not prepared for this. The touch screen is flawless. I've had it for about 5 months now and i have yet to get a single scratch on the screen. I love this product and i'm sure that you will too.

This is an amazing product that has alot to offer. It now even has bluetooth making it quite remarkable. Great for all ages with all the apps avaliable and many are free.

I have had a first gen iPod touch for over a year. I got the new one as a gift. It is fantastic. The ease of use is unbelievable. No other touchscreen even compares.The speakers are perfect for listening to music with a friend or a small group or for playing games in solitude. The precision and the sensitivity is amazing. I would recommend this to everyone.

What's great about this is that while it doesn't have the phone coverage, it has all the same aspects as the iPhone. Why switch to a less reliable phone coverage when you can get an iTouch that has the same features minus making calls? I would either buy this or wait until the iPhone gets possibly unlocked for all carriers.

this is the best ipod i have ever owned . it will do everything a iphone will do except take a picture and call someone as long as you are in wi-fi area and you dont have to pay a high priced data planned and you can delete the apps.

When I first opened the package it was like opening a treasure chest. LOL! The use of this product is really easy and the features are just outstanding. I would recommend this product to anyone who are looking for an all in one mp3 player. After 8 months with my iPod Touch, not one scratch has fallen on the screen. Its really worth for your buck.

I LOVE this ipod. I got it for my brithday because my nano was stolen at school. This is defintaly a great upgrade. Get a case because it scratches pretty easy. The only thing i don't like is you can't delet an app one you install it. Other than that it is amazing and i love it

I bought a mfr refurb ipod touch from overstock last week. It arrived a couple days ago and it is in excellent shape. I would never have known it was refurbished. The packaging is very small, and there is no manual. But it survived shipment and it works perfectly. I would buy a refurbished ipod touch from overstock.com again

The Ipod Touch is a wonderful product. I have never had regrets of buying it. The ipod touch is great because you can do so much more then just listening to music. You can play games, check the stock market, check your email, check the weather, and much more! The only problems with it is that it gets dirty, but it is easily fixable with the cloth that comes with it. Another problem is that it frezees up sometimes. But it isn't that big of deal. All you have to do is plug it into your computer and return it to factory settings. You may be thinking, "If i return it to factory settings all of the things on it will be gone." That is not the case because everytime that your Ipod is synced, Itunes automatticaly creates a backup file. Whenever you return it to factory settings you can always restore it to how it was by downloading the backup file onto the Ipod! I love this Ipod so much! It is a great buy!

The Touch is fine for most uses, except that there is no way I can find to create home Video categories, such as Home Events, Birthdays, etc. All such videos are simply listed in alphabetical order on the ipod under Movies.

I am so glad I bought the iPod Touch over the iPod Nano. There is so much more you can do with it, especially with the WiFi (Games, Apps, Sports scores, etc). My 3 yr old daughter loves it too. Only thing that I wish I did was to order the 32GB model so that I could load up even more of my CD's and maybe a couple of movies.

This product is amazing! Anytime apple makes anything it blows everything else out of the picture! the Itouch is a great example of this! with being able to check your email via push, coverflow on the ipod, and the app store alone is worth buying an Itouch!

The new Ipod Touch 2nd Generation has a new sleek design. The screen and sound quality is great. It is the best ipod ever made. Apple also changed the Ipod Touch to have a volume rocker with is easier to use then the 1st Generation of the Ipod Touch. It also has a curved back for the 2nd Generation of the Ipod Touch.

This was my very first ipod. I was REALLY Excited to get, it was a graduation present. One thing i was really disappointed was the way it was packaged...it was like being tossed around in a box. Throw in at least some bubble wrap? or something padding, styrofoam, SOMETHING. i could practially break it from shaking the box. i expected much more careful packaging. Other than that, the battery is good once you let it charge for a couple of hours. i really expected at least a VGA cam...come on. AT LEAST A VGA. wifi is awesome, music rox, quality is good. overall, worth getting.

I bought the first Gen Itouch and i was amazed with it. I later heard that the second Gen Itouch was out and I had to buy it as well. So many applications fit to everyone's life style. In my opinio it is easy to use and relatively cheap in price. The movies look great, the pictures are awesome. It has saved me on more than one occation. Ex. Had some notes to write about clients, while in the train i wrote them and emailed it to my email address. If you live in NYC you know how hectic it can be, the maps as long as you have open WiFi are great means of information. All in all i love this baby. Nothing bad to say about it.

To try and compare this player to others on the market is impossible, it's like comparing a Formula One race car to a Volkswagen Bug. This product just does so much more. With this player you get a fully functional web browser, no other mp3 player on the market can make that claim. The screen size is huge, you can actually watch a movie without squinting. I think one of the most amazing features on this player, is the apps you can load. You can load anything from mapping software to beautifully graphic games. There is an app for everyone. And the greatest part of all, lots are free! That's right free. One of my favorites is the carpenter level. This sucker works like a real level! There is even a free bowling game. Most apps are pretty reasonably priced. One thing I have not got for the player yet, is a protective screen. I feel this would be a good investment, seeing as you would definitely not want to scratch the screen; or back for that matter. This player is really beautiful to look

This is a good product with many features. I bought it when it was $320 around Christmas. It's handy to have, and helps me stay organized. I think the durability is pretty amazing considering that I ran down our driveway in the rain with my ipod in my pocket when it suddenly flew out, and landed in a puddle. The worst thing that happened was a little scratch, and I had to reboot it. If you purchase this and want an app to have a secure place to write notes with many options, and store lists, and whatnot I recommend the app called Iconic Notes. It is very inexpensive, and very useful. What I didn't like was the facebook app. I couldn't do some things like check all my notifications. However, when I went through safari on to facebook's website I was able to do more, although it was harder to move around. worst investment i hve ever made. this ipod is more than terrible. 8gb?? wtf.. for 200$. buy the 120gb for 250$ and you can hold all your songs and all your movies. i have to delete songs on this to hold movies and shows. terrible

It honestly does its job. I just wish I would've brought one without the arm band because the back for the armband is exposed and it's personally frustrating. The shipping was okay. Overall good product.

This is one amazing iPod! I love the touch screen, the Cover Flow is AWESOME!!! It's by far the best iPod I've ever used, let alone owned! It's great for someone who wants a great music player but wants to enjoy using it for things other than just music!

this ipod is absolutely amazing. it is so easy to use. i bought mine December 27, 2008, and in March 2009, im still finding things i never knew about it. its thin, sound sounds great through good ear phones, can be a computer, you can get on myspace, aim, facebook, twitter, anything on the computer. and also, dont listen to the ppl who say "the battery life sucks!" yes the battery can go fast, only when ur on the internet on it, or when u constantly keep the light on. put sleep mode on when ur using it. ive gotten about 22 hours from mine. they really are worth every penny.

I bought 2 Apple 8GB I touch units for my wife and daughter who love these gadgets. They are truly amazing little devices that do almost anything.
I think the unit is way overpriced though and needs to be sold for no more than $100.00.

I got my first ipod for my 13th birthday 2 and a half years ago and then it broke last february and I've been saving up for this. Ever since, whenever my mom and I went to the Apple store in my area I was playing around with on of the displays and thought to myself, "Wow. This is the coolest ipod I've ever seen (not to mention experienced with)." Now that I have it (since yesterday as my 9th grade graduation gift) I realized that I was ABSOLUTELY right! I'll NEVER in my entire life regret buying this because I've never had an ipod with sooo much more features on it! My last words are: The 8GB ipod touch is worth the $$!:)
