Travel a lot and I have been using this bag for less than a year, In the last few weeks the telescoping arm has started to stick and I have gone thru TSA with the arm up.... last week in Doha they pushed it down and it broke. Well you know TSA... it my problem. I love the bag but the arm is cheap and needs to be redesigned with something a lot heavier to take the constant up and down workout they get while traveling.

Ok, my review is like the others, based on, I had the original and I wanted the same one. The original Contour was great, it was VERY small, and VERY light. Basically it was the only small light roller on the market for a decent price. Not the best, it fell apart in apart two years but that's ok, it was cheap, and most IMPRORTANTLY, it was a ROLLER that FIT UNDER THE SEAT BACK IN FRONT OF YOU! Virtualy no other does (at least not a cheap one). And it was very light. Enter, the new contours: 1. A female-oriented one, based on the old one. The female one is OK but very feminine, and missing the strap that holds it to your handle on the suitcase if you stack it (which is actually very useful). Anyway, it is too feminine for use by a man who is not in love with all things feminine. 2. This one. Well, nothing special, it is a boring big old heavy bag like any other. It has the strap on the back but that's useless since you would be carrying two carry-ons that have to go up top (unless you are in First Class, which you aren't). The bag is OK, but nothing special. So basically I would not recommend this bag. The female one is OK if you happen to be a female. I am still searching for a new under-the-seat-in-front of you roller. Take care.

Lots of storage space and works pretty good for airline travel. My only suggestion would be to reduce the size of the wheels or move them inboard to ease getting the bag under the airline seat.

This is the first bag I found that would accomidate my new Dell laptop. Doesn't hold much else so not an overnighter. I have got a pair of shoes and a light jacket in it. Very well made!

Strengths: - Feels very durable. Only 1 month in, but I feel like the bag will last me a while. - Very comfortable. Whether Im using the bag as a roller, over-the-shoulder, or as a brief, it feels comfortable all around. And I definitely like having the flexibility of going between either of those modes. - Large number of storage compartments for the all the little things including a compartment for carrying passport and boarding pass when traveling. -Plenty of padding for the laptop compartment. I feel very safe having my 13 notebook wheeling around behind me. - Sturdy handle that evenly distributes the weight of the bag across the palm of my hand. No more strenuous arch effect created by nylon handles. - The contour on the side is actually pretty conducive to carrying the bag over my shoulder or as a briefcase. - Telescoping handle is a great feature of this bag. Easily comes out of its compartment and hides very well under its zipped cover. Weaknesses: - Kinda wide. I wish the bag could hold the same amount of items, but seem a bit slimmer. - My bag came with bright blue wheels. I wish the wheels were a little more subtle. Something in black or a black and chrome mix wouldnt hurt. - As wide as it is, however, it still feel like a tight fit for my laptops external power supply. Ive had to squeeze it into the documents compartment, but its just me being a bit picky. - Padding on the shoulder pads could be a bit thicker. It would have been nice if Kensington had used a gel pad like the ones you find in the wristpads of some mousepads. That would have truly increased the comfort for anyone carrying the bag over-the-shoulder. Summary: Overall, I love this bag. Its my first rolling laptop bag. I was always a bit hesitant to purchase one because I felt like it made people look goofy. Now that I have one, I understand that I still run the risk of looking goofy, but my back thanks me every day that I no longer use my laptop backpack. With the roller, it gives a very professional look as I walk into meetings and its very handy with all the travelling that I do. It easily fits into the overhead compartment of small and large planes alike, and all the compartments on the bag make it easy to access items I may need during the flight laptop, books, documents, pens, external hard drives, etc.. Please dont expect this bag to be your overnight bag as it most likely will not hold an extra dress shirt or a pair of shoes. It will however hold your toiletries, and maybe some grooming tools for a day trip. I truly believe this bag will be an asset to any working professional concerned with ergonomics and durability.

I researched a lot before buying this. It is sturdy and comfortable. I have used it for about a month now. I can now reccomment this to any one buying a laptop bag.

I travel a great deal and this rolling computer bag is perfect. Easy access to computer for airport inspections and ergonomically designed, telescopic handle and in-line skate wheels make this an effortless walk to work and journey through long airport terminal corridors.

I needed a Roller case for my 17" laptop (HP DV7) with enough extra space for accessories and other items which were essential to take along.
This case fit the bill perfectly. The laptop fits snuggly, but not tight.

Great Price too!
