warning - this VCR has no tv tuner or coax input
This 'feature' is not so obvious from the product description.
I bought this for the purpose of recording broadcast television (I know get TiVo already!)
This task is not possible with this model.
Good quality, robust playback of tapes from my other two well-worn VCRs
Typical DVD functions and quality

The Philips DVP3345V DVD/ VCR Combo (Refurbished) arrived with a very poorly put together instruction manual (photocopied by whoever refurbed it)- The DVD player does not work- in fact it doesn't even open to allow for a disc. Very dissapointed with this purchase.
