I love this portable DVD player. I took it on vacation recently. I watched it in the car and the hotel room. My husband watched tv and I just popped in a DVD and put on my headphones. Very portable and so easy to use. I love all the accessories. The price is great. The sound is better with the headphones. I bought this because of the reviews and the accessories included. I'm glad I got the 9 in screen instead of the 8 in.

We've only used it a couple of times, but the DVD player works great, definately worth the money. If you're taking a long trip and you have kids you need to keep quiet, it's a great way to keep them entertained. I will warn you that if your child requires a rear facing car seat you have to get creative on how you are going to mount it. I look foward to my child having a front facing car seat so I can just go ahead and mount to the back of the car seat. I definately recommend.

We bought this player in preparation for two long drives (12+ hours) this summer with our 3-year-old. I picked this player because it was inexpensive and came with everything we would need (chargers, case, headphones) and it has served its function well. Player: The player has never given us any problems. It played from day one and the picture quality seems good (at least to me). (Although see battery item below). Remote Control: Works fine. Only problem had to do with the case (see below). Headphones: The headphones were certainly not super high quality. They're comfortable to wear - my daughter, who had never worn headphones before, had no problems (although they didn't fit my really big head very well). The sound was fine from my perspective and plenty loud. They are, however, pretty cheaply made. My daughter managed to break one pair although I was able to repair it with a screw. Carry/car seat mounting case: The case is of decent build and had room to carry all the cables,

I bought this DVD player for a car trip to keep my 8 & 10 year old entertained. We had two days of driving in each direction. It was easy to set up and worked great. The kids had no complaint- so I have none!

This portable DVD player kit was bought as a gift to myself + family over the Holidays '08 directly from Amazon. It's a true lifesaver. I take 3-hr long roadtrips every week with them and I'm constantly losing my mind in silence behind the wheel. Think Seinfeld. Remember George Costanza's parents & their mindless loud arguments + tantrums? Now imagine this for 3-hours, non-stop in real life, and nowhere to escape. Exactly. So now, the shouting matches coming from the front passenger seat next to me are so over. All seat in the back willingly & happily to watch movies. The screen image is sharp and big enough to entertain all. Audio via headsets is good. I'm one happy, safe driver with peace of mind & deeper love for my family :) DVD kit is a great value for under $120. It saves time, brain cells & money too. No future therapy, meds & insurance bills. Yippie.

This player has a nice picture, great head phones, and case. About the only thing I did not like is the volume, it is too bad it cannot go any louder than the max provided. I have the driver listening to the radio and the car is kinda loud so it was hard to really hear every word people said. I liked it over all though.

I purchased this unit for my husband as a Christmas gift. He was initially unable to get the unit to play a disk. There is a password code (noted in instructions) that needs to be entered during set-up. We do not know if he initially missed this step or not. However, after we went back through the progressive set-up instructions, the unit worked perfectly. Sound via speakers is quite adequate, as was picture quality on the wide screen. He viewed a DVD using headphones, and sound quality was fine. Unit has not yet been used in a vehicle. A negative may be that this unit will play only Region 1 DVD's - we have not yet looked in stores to see if that will be an issue or not. For the money, both my husband and I are quite pleased with this product.
