I bought this product 3 weeks ago, installed it in less than 5 minutes and since then I've experienced excellent quality of video and image in an old VGA monitor.

This is a great product for adding multiple monitiors. The problem i had was not with the picture but everytime I would restart I would have to adjust everything all over again, like picture size and etc. And that can be a real Pain. So that was my biggest complaint. But this might also work differently on your setup so if you have no other choice you might wanna give it a try.

i just purchase this item about a week ago all i can see it does what it says its another another monitor for now i have three monitors connected i have it install under win 7 at the begining i was having trouble to getting to start but then i guess i forgot to restart after install the drivers the only con about this the 3rd monitor you have to turn it on by pressing the power button on the monitor witch sucks beacuse my other two turn on by then self do to the dual video card they should make triple video cards if the 3rd monitor i would give this product 5 stars but im going with 4 stars it does what it says is going to know and it looks great im using the hdmi cable and it so clear all my monitors are 19 inch

This handy little device does what it says it does but it is buggy. Mine works but every once in awhile it turns off and ceases to recognize the monitor but after rebooting and unplugging / replugging the USB device a few times, my computer recognizes it again and it works. Also if my computer goes into hibernation, it ceases to recognize the device and I have to do the above over again to get it working. Some of the comments left in the user feedback section here are inaccurate, the device does recognize wide screen resolution such as 1440x900 which is the resolution I currently use. But if you try to make this change in the Display section of your Control Panel, it will bug out. You have to right click on the icon in your task pane bottom right hand corner of screen and make setting adjustments there. Like I said, it is handy but a bit too buggy for my taste. Next time I will invest in a graphics card that can handle multiple monitors or but a second cheaper graphics card for my extra PCI slot. It's a but more work but probably lower maintenance than this device.
