I just had this tv shipped by Bestbuy recently and the service was great. They brought it in, hooked it up and made sure everything was good before they left. All for free. I have my laptop hooked up to it as we speak, typing this review, set at 1900x1200 via HDMI and it looks great, games look great and by next week should have the Nvidia 3D set up, I can't wait. I also have me, old school, HD-DVD player hooked up and wow, awesome. Xbox 360 looks excellent too. No complaints yet.

After shopping around for awhile i bought a 42 plasma for my place... great TV no issues... but then this one caught my eye 60in for 800? well i bought from tigerdirect site unseen and hoped for the best... by gosh when it arrived i was worried about it being projection... not a slight difference from any lcd or plasma... this TV is amazing... i have no idea about the sound as i hooked up my bose system right away... movies are crisp even in 480 >.<... only downside like i said it feels too big for my small apartment

We decided to go HD after a long time of waiting. We, for a very long time, used a Toshiba Rear-projection TV at 50" in our living room. We decided that we would need a TV large enough to take the place of that TV and to make it not look so small. DLP is the right choice for this since you can get a much larger screen size at a lower cost than LCD or Plasma. Since we had good luck with our other rear-projection, we figured that we would have good luck with this TV. Having it for a month now, there have been no issues and our view experience is great. The matted screen makes glares much less harsh (our old TV had a glossy screen). The wight of this TV is extremely light for its size, our friend has a 42" LCD which is much heavier than this. As long as you're planning to put the TV on a stand, the lack of it being a flat panel shouldn't be a big deal. 1080p content through our Xbox 360 is very detailed and sharp and the TV never lags behind nor have I seen any "rainbow effect" from

I have owned this for about 2 months now. No major issues. Black on black is a little rough at times with some grays being washed out, but overall it is an excellent value. My major concern was effects when dealing with large amounts of white (hockey games). No issues whatsoever there. My sporting events are crystal clear with very little to no effects. Much better than my Sony kp-57ws500. Keep in mind, I never had an issue with my Sony. I was always satified with the picture. This out performs that by far. The only area where this TV lacks is in its sound. This is why I stated "4.5 if I could". I figure most who own this would have some sort of sound system, so this would not be a major issue. At least not enough to take it a whole step from 5 to 4. I am very pleased overall!

Bought mine on cyber monday for 999.00.Sold my 10 year old projection tv for 250.00.Do the math and I couldn't have made a cheaper upgrade on a hd tv that in my view, has a better picture than the plasma and lcd tvs out there.PS3 games are crystal clear and bluray movies are even better. If you want a tv you can count the blades of grass watching golf or being able to see the faces in the stands at a football game this TV is for you.The 1080i channels are very addicting and my local news station broadcast in720i so im very sold on this TV.Try to get one for around $1000.00 and you will be happy to. O,and Best Buy gave me free delivery too!!!!.

This television has been amazing. Found a Black Friday deal that got me the TV for $999. Even at the normally higher price, this TV is well worth the money. When it comes down to it, rear-projection really is a superior technology.
Don't get fooled by the trend in slim Plasma and LCD televisions. When it comes down to it, both technologies have their own issues and cannot live up to what DLP has to offer. If you don't have an absolute need to mount a television on a wall, then this is the set for you.
The television is only about 20" deep, so you don't have to give up that much room to enjoy 60" of pure joy. The picture is brilliant and highly adjustable. Sound is reasonable for built in speakers, but you will want to hook this up to a receiver to really get the right sound. 3D ready, 3 HDMI inputs and digital coax out really make this television one of the best purchases I have ever made.
Pros
*Price - you won't find a lower price in the Plasma or LCD market
*No Pixelation of

The price could not have better on this TV ($999.00). I upgraded to this TV from a 7 year old Panasonic HDTV, so the difference is night and day, it blows the old TV away. So far I could not be happier with the performance of this television and would recommend it to anyone who is on a budget.

I LOOOOVE this TV! I'm so happy with the clarity of the picture! It's so clear that it's actually a bit mesmerizing to watch! It's very light weight and easy to move. The menu is pretty self explanatory, I didn't even read the manual to set it up. It has a 3D-glasses port on the back that I'd love to utilize once I do a little research. My boys play the Wii on this TV and the gaming is awesome!
One thing on the negative side is the sound. The built in speakers are a little weak but I still give this TV 5 stars because I can't wait to buy my first surround sound system. I never had one and I'm sure it will go together great with this awesome TV!

After this last breakdown( 3rd time in a year ) the service tech said: Not another Mitsubishi, we have nothing but trouble with these sets. So here I am again without my TV for another 10- 14 days as the chassis goes to the shop.

I feel very lucky to get this TV for $999.99 as it was for last black friday and thought I would never see it that cheap again. I was wrong and very pleased to have purchased this TV. The size is amazing considering I upgraded from a 36" tube antique and the quality is amazing. HD and BlueRay looking amazing and some non-HD channels look a bit grainy but to take any normal channel and blow it up 60", you will see imperfections. I read a lot of reviews before buying this TV and the poor audio was most commonly brought up, I am not sure what others are used to for audio but I find the audio great with this TV. It sounds great and does the job just fine and if there is anything I am really concerned about audio with, I always have my stereo/surround sound I can turn to in order to really crank it up. The only downfall I have really noticed is that the TV has 60Hz image processing which can lead to a blurry picture when you have fast moving images. But compared to the high end TV that supports

I bought this because I wanted a larger screen. I was repositioning a 40" Sony XBR. While this sets picture doesn't look quite as good as the Sony LCD, I am very impressed.
The dimensions are pretty manageable for a projection screen of this size. ie its easy to move and not too deep in the back cabinet. we have it in a bedroom seating area and it fits fine on a bedroom chest.
I've been an electronics junkie a few decades and this is the best size/picture combination going for the price .

I currently have a 56" trashasonic lifi tv that has been in and out of repair since i got it a year ago. So i bought this online at best buy for $995 solely based off of other reviews, and i'm so glad i did!. This 60" dlp is very bright, with amazingly beautiful colors that just "POP" through the screen.....colors so good i've never seen some of these colors. HDTV looks so good, 3D like.........super clarity and depth. Factory settings are very good, but don't be afraid to adjust or tweek some of the color or brightness settings, it's very easy, and very minor adjustments will give you a perfect picture.
Sound on the tv is a little tinney, but okay, just hook your tv to an external speaker setup and you'll be in audio heaven. Lightweight and very handsome cabinet. The remote is easy to use and is back lighted. Also the remote can be used 20+ feet away from tv with a very wide signal path. Oh, replacement bulbs are just $99.00!! This tv to me looks as good as a $3,000 tv. BUY IT!!!!

If you're looking for entry quality high definition then this TV is great for you! If you don't know what entry quality means then you don't need to worry about it either, this TV is great for you!
TV is light for its size (65lb). The plastic build quality means you should be careful moving it but otherwise will hold up just fine. TV screen only has a thin border wrapping it so this TV feels like it was designed to be just one huge screen. Black is always my choice TV color (rather than my thick silver 50" Sony A10 borders) as I don't notice it and the picture stands out clearly.
Picture color accuracy is a bit of a miss on this TV. Brilliant mode offers curious interpretations of how to enhance color in any specific movie scene and often over exposes bright spots in movies. Not a deal breaker for entry level. Individual color adjustments lets you correct this if you choose but for most people, the default brilliant option will look just fine. One other warning is input

I wanted to spend less than $1,500 on a tv and quickly came to the conclusion that unless I wanted to spend at least twice that - I was going to end up with a projection. I was a little concerned when I decided on the 60" Mitsubishi instead of the plasma - after all, the "craze" these days are the wall hangers. Since my 15 year old 35" was about 24" think already, going down to 14" is flat to me. TV's have come a long way! I am very pleased with this purchase and the picture is awesome and my HD package hasn't even come in yet. I almost missed work from staying up so late watching this thing. In my opinion - unless you have to put a TV on the wall above a fire place - why spend $7500 on a comparable plasma? As for the speakers, they are not good enough for this TV. But really, complaining about the speakers is like complaining about the picture only using rabbit ears. Take the $500 or more dollars you save with this TV and buy a sound system as well. I am a little disappointed with the

I got this TV because of the price for size ratio. I was a bit leery about getting a projection TV since I heard so many complaints from some of the people that I know that have them. I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HECK THEY ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT!! The picture on this thing is frickin GREAT. Forget about a plasma or an LCD, this TV will please even the most picky sports fan, can you say football, football, football!!!. To appreciate the color and the picture you definitely need the High Def cable, satellite, DVD, or Blue Ray. I'm not trying to get you to buy anything but I tell you, regular TV signal on this is a ok but go Hi Def if you can, so you can see the magic of this TV, but that is with any big screen TV. The kids games systems shows up great on this too. The slower 60Hz refresh will show up a little on fast paced games but nothing you can overlook. I really like mine and definitely recommend getting this or any DLP projection TV cause it is less expensive for the same picture quality

I ordered the TV online for $999.99 and had it delivered the day of the Super Bowl. The picture with the HDMI connect is incredible. In the other reviews I read, most people complained about the sound quality. I think the sound quality is just fine. A must buy if you are in the market for a HDTV (50" - 65")!

Whats great n whats not sums it up. The T.V. is terrific in HD and the size you can't beat for the price. Only downside are the reds, sound & non HD channels.

I bought this TV from Best Buy, it's alright for it's price but i wish i should have saved a couple $100 for the 61" LED Samsung DLP HDTV. First off, DLP TV's have no trouble displaying 120Hz. They can have a refresh rate of up to 300Hz if it wanted to, this TV only displays 60Hz.
All of Samsungs DLP TV's display 120Hz LED or not LED. If you wanted to get a 120Hz with a Mitsubishi, you would have to buy a Mitsubishi Diamond DLP TV, which is around $3,000+... Now i regret buying the 60735 TV. If i would have known about the 60Hz i wouldn't have bought it! It's still an alright TV and it will have to do until i buy a new HDTV. 60Hz ain't really any good these days, specially when you are purchasing an HDTV for Sports, Gaming, or Blu-ray Movies.

Great TV if you are looking for a super large screen for minimal $$. Picture is clear, sound is decent (not a big movie/sound person) for regular TV watching. TV fills the room and cannot wait to host my SB XLIII party! If you don't mind not having a thin TV this is the way to go. I have it on a stand that is 48" wide and it sticks out about 3" on either side. Very light and manueverable. Once again, for around $1000 you can't beat the size at 60!!

I did my research for 6 months and I went to seven different websites. This was the best TV at the best price. The picture is great the sound is a little jinky but if you have surround soud you will love it. Also I oaid $1,299.99 for it but it went on sale a week later for $999.99 and Best Buy gave me the difference.

This TV is unbelievable. I couldn't believe the picture quality, excellent. My previous TV was an old 27 inch tube television, nothing special, but this 60 incg DLP TV is the best of the best I have seen. The colors are so vibrant. And the angle views on this DLP are great. And for the price you can't beat it for the size you get. I don't even have HD hooked up yet, and it still is an awesome picture, alomst HD appearing. I can't imagine what the picture will be like with HD, probably jaw dropping. Movie viewing has never been so much fun before. It's so pleasing to the eye. This DLP comes close to if not beats plasma for picture quality, but for the price and size this DLP is way better. The sound with this TV is adequate, nothing great, but I got the mirage sound system, which makes it an incredible movie experience, no longer need to go to the movies.

My wife got this for me as a birthday gift (I had already negotiated the price down on the floor model and she snuck in and bought it w/out me knowing :) ). I have it with my PS3, DishNet(soon to be HD), and a Yamaha 390 600W surround. Setup is pretty easy (DO NOT USE DYNEX HDMI's they are worthless) and the smart connection that picks up the powered up device is a bit of a blessing and curse during setup(you cannot "force it to an input w/out a powered device on it) but once done it is very NICE!!! The HD picture is wonderful and even though NCAA '09 is only authored in 720P it looks amazing. I just got the surround sound setup through it and that is very nice as well (wish it had a digital optical out instead of digital cable out). This TV is very very good. I do have to agree with other's that the non HD is not great but that will be remedied in a few days with HD from DISH. Good luck finding one, but if you do and are in the market for a great QUALITY bargain buy this one.

I bought this back on December 5th. on Black Friday when the tv was $999, can't beat that. I have no complaints about it.. great picture, the sound could be better, but since I already have it plugged into my stereo system. No worries.

I purchased this TV for $999 on black friday. It was a steal. I researched alot of DLP TV's but this one stood out from the crowd because of the features and especially the price. I had faith in the TV and I brought it home and installed it in minutes. I connected a Phillips Up-Converting DVD Player, Xbox 360, Comcast cable, and my home theater system. It has enough inputs to connect anything you want. The DVD-Player works magnificently on 1080p via an HDMI cable. The Xbox 360 never looked better. I always play NBA Live 09 on it and looks as if I was in the game. I even get HD channels with regular comcast via a coaxial cable. This TV does not disappoint. All of my friend's mouth dropped when they saw the size of the TV and the clarity it produces on HD Cable, DVD's, and the 360. I can't imagine Blu-Ray. That is next. The only low end part on this TV are the speakers. However, the Home Theater system makes up for it. This TV makes a perfect Home Theater. You won't be disappointed!

I bought the TV online at the $999.00 price. I cannot imagine a better value! The quality of the picture exceeded my expectations. My other TV is a 40" Sony Bravia and I had expected the picture on the new DLP to be nowhere near as clear or bright. Man, was I wrong!
We've been watchng the set for two weeks and we're into the NFL playoffs now. We had friends over yesterday and their comments included Oh My God, Holy C**P, It's better than being at the game etc. We could not be more satisfied.
Sure, the speakers are weak, but who watches a 60" High Def TV without a surround system? Total theater experience!

I agree with all the positives: great picture, price.
The lamp on this model only costs 99.00 direct from Mitsubishi.
Most of their other lamps are 229.00 so that is one other thing that makes this DLP a great deal.

As soon as I ordered this, my dad spent 20 minutes telling I had made a mistake because it was a projection telelvision. I went to the Best Buy, and was amazed at the picture quality.
I bough this for a media room and I was worried everyone wouldn't be able to see it clearly. I was WRONG! The picture is great. The sound is Great.
The only advice--Don't stop the channel scan until it's completely finished. The owner's manual leads you to believe that you can stop it after scanning your known channels, but you can't. Two hours later I found that out.. My mistake!!

I hit on the $999 price 2 weeks before Christmas - still waiting for the post-Christmas bottom to drop out.
The picture, even in 480, is great. DirecTV just added the HD package yesterday - I stayed up all night utterly amazed. The picture is crystal clear and the whole family loves it.
Incredibly light-weight and easy to set up.

This TV is awesome. You get a great picture for the price and we have gotten so many compliments on it. Great for playing WII. We have it in our family room. We also have a Mitsubishi Projection TV that is 52 inches and is over 13 years old. We have never had a problem with this TV, that is why we decided to go with another Mitsubishi.

Its your favorite reviewer from State College, P.A.! I have another great product for you to consider when shopping for that next generation television. This Mistu is a great buy! For the price, you will not find something that will output quality images & make you glad you finally got HD capable equipment! Our gang has this television downstairs in our REC. room & we get nothing but compliments about this set! If you want something that will impress people with its size & quality, get THIS T.V.!
The back of the television has plenty of room for all of our gaming systems (Wii, Xbox 360, PS2, etc.) with room to spare! We play HD games & movies on this television weekly & our guests are never tired of coming over to get that movie theater experience!
I will ask that you purchase (or have) a surround sound with this television as the stock speakers are lacking! A good 5.1 will really make this pop! As I mentioned before, the movie

This is a great TV. Replaced the 50" Sony WEGA LCD in the living room because it just wasn't big enough. Either the 2yr old Sonys colors faded or the Mitsu's colors are just phenominal because they really pop and come out at you. I had to reduce the brightness and temp because it was so bright.
The only feature I do not like is that the extra AV hook up is in the front of the TV as aposed to Sony or Samsungs being located on the side. So when I have my XBOX hooked up to it, you see all the wires.
But all around the TV is great: Very light weight (lighter than my 50" Sony), great size, color, and one of the loudest TV's out there!
Get em while you can!

The picture in 1080p is sparklingly clear. Regular DVDs upscaled are excellent too. Very light for a DLP. If you need a 60" this is the one. IMO the LCDs are not better and good luck finding or affording LCDs this big.

I bought this TV as a surprise for my husband and he couldn't have been more blown away by its beautiful picture. It replace a 52" that we gave to our daughter and now we refer to the 52" HDTV as the terrible TV. This TV is amazing, easy set up. The price was more than right at $999 when just a few months ago we purchased a 42" HDTV for $898. I know wish I had a DLP for our living room TV as the picture is resolution is better and the color blows away the LCD HD screens. I was nervous picking the TV for my husband and he was immensly estatic with me selection.

After doing a lot of research on all types of TVs (LCD, plasma, DLP) and brands (LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi), I decided on this model. I got a great Black Friday deal and couldn't be happier. There is no comparison as far as value for your money. This unit is in my living room and has a great picture when watching DVDs and HD programming. Yes, the quality deteriorates somewhat when watching regular cable channels, but that is an input issue (nothing to do with the quality of this model). Certainly, this model lacks some of the adjustments found on others costing twice as much, but that is to be expected.I am really happy I went with the DLP. It is lightweight and only 14" deep. If you are choosing between this and an LCD, I would go for the DLP hands down, for the large screen at a lower price. Yes, the picture darkens if you're viewing it from the side, but who watches TV from the side??? Also, setup is really easy; just plug in your HDMI cables and the TV recognizes the input and guides

We bought this TV online on Thanksgiving for $999 + free delivery. We never saw it in person, and took the risk based on the reviews. I didn't even know what a DLP tv was before we bought it, but I did extensive online research to be sure. The tv is very user friendly and there are many inputs for everything you could ever want. I also like how when you click on the remote "inputs" it lists all of your inputs for you such as "blue ray", xbox, cable instead of just saying "av1". It is also very light weight at only 63 pounds. The sound from the tv is not that good. For me this is not an issue, because we have it hooked up to our surround sound. HD programming and blue rays look simply amazing. I don't think we will go to the movie theater for a while, because the movie experience is better at home! This is a great tv at a great price. Just buy it already!

We have always paid top dollar and bought Sony televisions. We thought we would try this as a second tv for the kids Wii, PS2, etc. But the picture quality is terrible, even with the Wii. This item will be returned and we will buy sony again.

Purchased for $1000 with free delivery. I had been planning on purchasing this TV after seeing a friend's 73" version - I was blown away by the clarity of the picture. I was pleasantly surprised to see it on sale for $1000 over the Thanksgiving weekend. The set up was a breeze for me. I have DirecTV HDDVR, Xbox 360 and Samsung Blu-ray all running through a Sony receiver via HDMI. Therefore, I only have to run one HDMI cable from the receiver to the TV. The picture is amazing compared to the Samsung CRT HDTV that this TV replaced. Everything is clear and the colors are vivid without any washout. Xbox 360 games and Blu-ray DVDs look fantastic as does the DirecTV HD. There isn't much to programming the TV. It's very fool proof. I found the the presets for the picture suit my taste just fine. I don't think you could find a better TV, with this performance, for the price. I gave the sound a score of 3, but I don't even know how it actually sounds. I listen to everything through my home theater

I just picked up this TV during the Black Friday Sale. I purchased it through the website (only $999) and based my purchase off the reviews. I currently have 720p 50 Inch Plasma in my bedroom and I was looking for something bigger for the living room. I have owned Plasma and LCD TVs before but this is my first DLP set. After waiting about 2 weeks for the TV to come in I was first surprised by the weight. The TV weighs less than half of what my 50 inch plasma weighs. I live on the 11th floor of my building and it was easy to carry it with just my girlfriend and myself. The TV was easy to hook up and we were up and running in just a few minutes. I do have to say the way the menu is set up on this TV is a little odd. It took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to turn the volume on. Once that was taken care off we tried out the picture with a DVD. It took a few seconds to get the picture to full capacity. My other TVs when you turn them on you do not have to wait on the screen to get brighter.

First, I got this TV to replace an old, but once state-of-the art 55-inch Toshiba CRT-rear projection HDTV behemoth.
The picture is outstanding and the price -- I paid $999.99 during a post-Thanksgiving promotion -- can't be beat.
Frankly, I don't understand the rush to flat-panel displays, LCDs and Plasmas.
I have two LCDs -- one for bedroom, one for work room, and like them fine, but ...
They weigh as much -- or more -- than this tv, and I like DLP's image reproduction better.
Again, the picture on this TV is better than most comparable LCD and plasmas, which have their own shortcomings (LCDs, dead pixels, bad blacks; plasmas, energy hogs and HOT).
I'll admit I'm less than thrilled about having to pay more than $100 a few times, in all likelihood, to replace the lamp, but the value for the money is still amazing.
Delivered free by Best Buy. No hassles. Bottom line: Excellent TV and the sound quality's not bad at all, unless

Awesome television its like having the movie theater in your home. Shows beautiful clear pictures, especially when you use it to watch blu ray movies or tv in HD. I was going to go with the Samsung 61 inch DLP but decided to go with the Mitsubishi has a lot more features. I was so glad I did. Very easy to set up. Sale price was 999.99 what a great deal!!!!!

This has to be the deal of the year. Got this monster for $999 + $100 rebate from Mitsubishi Electric. Incredible picture in HD. Picture is as clear as any LCD or Plasma TV I've seen and its size blows those smaller TV away. Set up was simple. Purchased a HDMI cable online for less than $5, plugged in to cable box. This is how football was meant to be seen!

I'm one of those people who doesn't buy b/c I'm scared the next best thing comes out right after... buy it! I'm so happy I did, I love it. Got it for 999 on sale and don't regret anything. My buddy has a 50" Samsung and the picture is just as good if not better and I paid LESS!

Going from a 36" tube tv to an HD 60" was an amazing transition. The picture is so big and the price was a steal (got it for $999 during the sale). I have read other reviews about bad sound. I only find that the tv doesn't have much in the low frequencies when using the tv speaker. But hey, if you have a 60" tv like this and don't have a surround system to run it through, you shouldn't even have an HD tv. I am surprised that no one has commented on the color. The reds on the tv are very poor. No matter what adjustments I make, the reds have a faded lavender look to them and not a good red. Kinda looks like that funky redish crayon in the 64 pack that you never used as a kid.

When I bought this Television I asked the people at Best Buy to install it for me since I have a little car and I live on the second floor in my apartment. When they came it took less than 10 minutes to set up. I went out and rented Transformers and Cars on Blue-ray. The picture quality is just amazing. Even when my Blue-ray player up-converts regular DVDs it still looks great. You cant beat a T.V like this for the price. The sound quality is great for my apartment, but I can see if I were to live in a house I would have to invest in a surround sound system in order to hear it better.
Hope this has helped you make a decision.

This is a great TV. it has a big picture, and you don't compromise quality. I have it in a smaller room, so the sound doesn't suck to me, it actually is a bit too loud sometimes. The tv is lightweight and easy to move. The only annoying thing about it is how long the channels take to change.

Great TV, Better price than others ($999) PS3 graphics and blu ray look great. Plenty of HDMI outputs, and other features. can't wait for more 3-D movies to come out! I recomend it to anyone who wants a amazing TV to watch movies and play games on. Sound Quality is not phenomanal, but hooked up to surround sound is great. Very easy set up, overall a great TV!

This has got to be the deal of the year in my opinion. $999 for a nice 1080P 60 inch TV? No brainer. And it aint no slouch either. This runs with the best of the DLPs, and even better in some ways. You get a 6 color wheel instead of 3. You get 3 HDMI inputs. A USB input for picture viewing (but it is slower than a computer would be as far a processing the image). The picture is just stunning. I play XBOX 360 games and have found that to be very nice for this. I use a PS3 for Blu Ray and that looks beautiful. I got to see how it stacks up VS samsung DLPs, and I'd have to say that this one is a bit more feature rich and is much better with picture quality. You won't be disappointed folks! This is your answer if you want a TV this size!!!

Got this TV at my local Best Buy for the incredible price of $1,000. Replaced a ~3 year old CRT Rear Projection HDTV with this and the improvement in picture quality is amazing. Very easy set-up, and the TV recognizes the input quality automatically (i.e. switches from 1080i from FiOS TV to 1080p on Blue Ray). Was planning on getting a Samsung 56" DLP last week, but glad I waited for the price drop on this set. Get it while you can, have seen some prices actually go up. Also, I've never been a fan of hang-on-the-wall Plasma and LCD - most screens I've seen have been too color saturated and not as crisp as a rear-projection DLP. Plus, you can't beat the screen size for the price - you'll be paying $3,500+ for this size and quality picture in a LCD or Plasma. Rated the sound quality low, but I don't use it - hooked it up to my surround system which was easy as well. Only technical problem I've heard about might be a blub burn-out - so buy the protection plan and you can get a new set of bulbs

I purchase the television less than a week ago after looking for a large television and reading reviews. The price for this TV is by far the best bargain around and the quality is great.

This tv is amazing, I love it. It's reasonably priced. I can't believe how easy it was to get the tv from the store and into my living room watchin HDTV.

I was looking at Tvs for over a month and comparing everyt kind, aspect, brand, etc. Finally decided on this one. I love the large screen size and knew for the same price in either LCD or Plasma I could only get a decent maybe 40 in. Its got all the same features as the other two kinds just can't mount it on the wall. Still very liightweight, easy to position. Was easy to hook everything up. lots of features, or ways to customize the picture. Hd picture looks great, although the regular 480i looks definteily not so great.
Haven't had it that long but very happy so far.

I got this tv as a replacement for my broken Hitachi 56" 720p. The screen is huge and it is light weight compaired to my older one. The screen is also pretty filmsy. Thats right, i could feel it slightly moving back and forth when we moved it in. And once I got it settled down I touched it and it pushes in with the slightest touch. Not good if you got a toddler around. Once I turned it on I was pretty disappointed with the non-hd picture. Really soft and grainy. The hd picture is fairly descent about the same as my Hitachi. Xbox 360 games do look great though. Has pretty good sound quality but the remote is pretty cheap and useless like my Hitachi. I would say take your chances with a Samsung they are the official tv of the NFL. I wish I would have.

After a month of research this is the Television that I decided to buy my boyfriend for his birthday. He LOVED it. He said that I picked a great TV. The picture quality is just awesome. I cannot say enough good things about this TV.

This 60" tv is the BEST PC monitor I've ever had and it uses an HDMI connection hooked up to a 1080p HD video card with a Monster Cable DVI-to-HDMI adapter. All I had to add to my PC to make it a total 1080p machine was an internal Blu-Ray DVD-player and movies are absolutely stunning on this screen!!!
Regular tv is very good, but the available HD channels blow it away and the pictures are so clear you might think you were in a small movie theater!!! I paid $1,299 for the tv on sale and I looked at more than 50 tvs in a month before buying this Mitsubishi.
DO NOT WORRY ABOUT BULB LIFE IF YOU DO NOT WATCH TV ALL DAY!!! I USE IT ABOUT 2-3 HOURS A DAY AND THE BULB WILL LAST BETWEEN 7-8 YEARS!!

I purchased this unit yesterday and now, for the first time, I can actually access the full clarity of 1080 resolution. The unit is excellent for the money, has more features than I will ever use, and plenty of input connections. (That's why I had to get a new set... it didn't have enough inputs for my new Blu-Ray dvd, the cable box, the vcr, etc.)
I had an RCA 52" projection set and thought I was getting "full HD picture". However, whenever I'd go to the store I'd see pictures that were much crisper. This unit now provides me with that clarity. I can see the dents and dings on the bodies of the Transformers now.
I would recommend this tv to anyone who likes a whopping great big picture and still wants the clarity of HD. Even the hook up was easy as it has a self-detecting unit. All you have to do is name each of the devices it finds connected to it.
And now that it's football season, I may not see the sunshine again until February.

When I needed to replace my JVC rear projection CRT HDTV, I bought the Mitshubishi 60735 based on customer reviews and brand reputation. When Bestbuy loaded it on my vehicle for me and I brought it home, I arranged for some help unloading it and carrying it into my house. My help was late arriving, so my rather petite wife offered to help. Surprisingly, she had no trouble handling the job. This tv is SURPRISINGLY light weight, very slim, very stylish in black and, most importantly, has the most vibrant colorful picture I've ever seen. I bought a DLP because I'm very fussy about being able to see the pixels on the screen. With plasma and lcd I could always see the black lines between the pixels, but not so with DLP, it has a perfect seamless picture.
If you want a tv to hang on the wall, this is not the tv for you, but if that is not an issue, DLP is definitely the way to go.
Also, Bestbuy cheerfully refunded $100 when the price came down on the website, all I had to do was take

I purchased this tv after much deliberation & the price was great when I got it on sale for $1199.99. This was a great purchase. The cable tv is amazing in comparison with the other two hd tvs that I have. It supports all videogame systems. I currently have 14 systems plugged into this tv & each source plays fine even the vintage systems. Blue ray on ps3 is just mindblowing & you can see just how bad older systems like the super nintendo were graphicly. Loading digital photos is a snap with the usb ports & I can even connect my ipod to this tv & play music or watch videos or movies from it. The sound clarity is crystal clear & I have'nt even connected my surround sound system to it. Botton line "Buy this hdtv" cause DayleJr said so. lol

This is by far the best tv I have ever owned. Its in my living room and you dont even need surround sound for this tv and HD looks amazing on Directv Satellite and it looks awesome on blu rays and playing video games. I have had this Mitsubishi for 1 month now with no problems. The only negative thing about this tv is that you have to replace your light bullb every two years or so but other than that this tv is amazing and should cost more.

I have been wanting to go Hi Def for a couple of years now. But a lot of the hi def T.V.s were still out of my reach on price. That is until I saw this one. Everything I wanted and then some, especially the DLP, which makes all the difference with a projection t.v. Not to mention 3 HDMI inputs on the back, plus component on the back and on the front. My XBOX 360 looks amazing. Standard images seem a little blurry or snowy at times, but there are plenty of ways to dial that in using all the features on this t.v. Very happy with the purchase. Lamp cartridges have to be replaced every once in a while. Every 3 years if you have the t.v. on all day every day. Can last up to eight years if you watch it say only 5 to 8 hours a day. Not to mention, the price. Less than $2000 for a 60inch screen. Can't get that with LCD or Plasma. Love it.

This TV has an outstanding Picture. So far is the best DLP out there for the money. I have seen other DLP TVs that cost more money and are not even close to this one in Picture quality. The Blu Ray movies and ps3 games look amazing! Easy to install and to adjust. Great buy! Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

You can't beat the price for a TV that size. It fits perfectly in my apartment, and its not overwhelming in the least. The picture quality is so clear and on the digital channels even better !! I'm in love with it for now.

This is one amazing tv. Picked it up at the store and hooked it up to a set-top box with Comcast HD. Excellent picture even with 480i and game consoles.
Only problem is that I can not make the controller which is said to be universal I can not seem to get it to work with the set-top box to program the controller but is not a big problem.
