My living room is decked out with seven Def Tech speakers -- so when my old computer speakers blew up, I decided to upgrade the office. Purchased a semi-cheap receiver and plugged it into the computer, along with two DT ProMonitor 1000 speakers and this -- and now I have the perfect environment for listening to jazz or Metallica while working. I've had this for about five months now and I've had zero problems, and the sound for such a little box is phenomenal!

Slightly smaller than my old Infinity BU80, which is really just a bonus, but the sound quality is like night & day...in a good way! I waffled over probably 10 different subs because I was having a difficult time justifying the seemingly inflated cost for Def Tech products. I have some of the Mythos line and have been extremely satisfied with Def Tech; this sub complements the Mythos gems very well. I assure you that you will not regret this purchase, no matter what kind of system you have or will be pairing with. I have a large living room that is adjacent to an open breakfast/sitting area and then open to the kitchen. I could really used two subs due to size of this space, but even with this one I've been very impressed. Sound is full/rich, covers a large range without being muddled, and hits clear and tight. Have been testing with both music and movies for several weeks now and it delivers with ease.
