Harman Kardon The Bridge II Docking Station for iPod Players
Harman Kardon
- THE BRIDGE II
The Bridge is the best thing to have to interface your iPod with HK A/V receivers. Allows you to control your iPod via the HK remote and view with the on screen display. It keeps it charged as well. It sounds much better than the old RCA-to-mini connection since the audio remains in the digital domain to the receiver rather than going through a needless D to A conversion. The only disappointment is that unlike using the wheel on the iPod to scroll from your vast array of playlists, you must click through your playlist at a considerably slower rate. You can select a playlist before inserting it into the Bridge to get right to it if you wished. Anyway, it is a great way to listen to your music.

Greta iPod interface for an amplifier. Easy to connect and sound quality is excellent (for MP3). The only minor issue is that I wish it was a bit heavier so that it did not get moved around by the cord as easily.

Pros: Easy Setup
Works as intended. The menus of your ipod appear on your AVR. Navigation is a bit slow but not unbearable. Docking connection seems very tight, almost forced, wonder about the impact to the ipod.

Pros: Easy Setup, Fast Charge
Easy to connect, Sounds GREAT once connected. Convenient remote feature for use with HK 3490 and charger for ipod. A little flimsy and cheap feeling for my tastes, but it looks great -- as all harman/kardon products.

Pros: Easy Setup
Works great with my HK amp. Sometimes, however there appears to be a slight line noise when Ipod is paused (but you have to be right up to speakers to hear it). This is a must have if you own an Ipod and a HK amp.

Pros: Durable, Easy Setup
Easy as one two three. HK said to use the Bridge and JR recommended the Bridge 2...This truly was easy and the performance has been outstanding. It is also great to deal with someone who knows what they are talking about and make suggestions to help you and not them. WAY TO GO JR
