I've played several games that were based on animated movies in the past and those past experiences significantly lowered my expectations for this game. After playing the first few levels I find myself pleasantly surprised.
The controls are easy to pick up and have a very low learning curve. You are going to want to play the game with a controller, as this is a platform game where some jumping puzzles will be quite difficult if only using the keyboard. This game, just like every game sporting the "Games for Windows" label, fully supports the 360 controller and automatically detects and maps the controls for you.
The graphics are also surprisingly good for a PC title. The developers did it right. Lately I've seen many console ports scale back on the graphics, often opting to not provide "next gen" graphics on fears that making the game next gen will raise the system requirements to a point where they are higher than the systems owned the majority of PC gamers.
